Tried to go today and I’m almost certain this place is closed. The sign was gone and there was paper covering the windows. I think it has been shut down for about a week now. I know the people there were often rude and the food was always a little different every time you got it, but it was a perfectly acceptable five buck burrito, and for that I give ‘em four stars. Goodbye dos burritos!

NEVEREATINGHEREAGAIN! Right when we walked in we were not treated right. The woman behind the counter gave us a stink face just for asking for the menu. The woman looked dirty, it looked like she slept with her makeup on rolled out of bed and showed up to work without showering. She was just plain rude. Zero, and I mean zero customer service skills. Its like she was doing you a favor. Not everything on the menu was in stock. She seemed to be out of everything. Not a good way to run a business. A man was ordering and took 30 seconds to think about his order and she rudely says«do you want it or not?». Wow! I mean at this point the food better be F’n amazing to deal with a cook like this! And was it??? The answer is NO… ABSOLUTELYNOT! We had the wet burritos and food was not good. Sauce tasted burnt and meat was dry. The best thing about my experience was the cold canned Inca Cola I had with my meal. Don’t waste your time… try something else in the neighborhood!

Ordered delivery from them twice. First time they screwed up some of the order: got coke instead of rootbeer and pinto beans instead of black and was missing a side. Otherwise food was fine. When they arrived they couldn’t find my address and seemed as though they wanted me to walk around to find them(I couldn’t see them down my block so no idea how far they expected me to go). Second time, ordered cheese enchiladas and ceviche mixto. Again they gave me pinto beans instead of black and it tasted like they used mole sauce on the enchiladas which was weird but fine. The ceviche was inedible. I called up to complain and they didn’t offer to replace it or refund anything. Definitely on my do not order from again list.

The one star is for the Ecuadorian food. The food is really good. The first time I came here, everything was perfect and I would have given them 5 stars. The lady that was working that day was extremely friendly, helpful, and considerate. Today, when we walked in, it was just the opposite. The lady working today was so rude with her face, words, and attitude. My boyfriend and I wanted to enjoy some Ecuadorian food(we are also Ecuadorian). We came, ordered empanadas which were still good and left. Unfortunately, we were left with negative feelings towards this place. Seems like others have had issues with maybe the same lady? If you see her, YOU’LLKNOW! We won’t be coming back. Attitude means everything. This lady needs to be fired.

HORRENDOUS delivery & sub-par Mexican food. I have had enough with the way some of these restaurants treat their paying customers. I ordered on Eat 24 expecting some delicious Mexican food– what I ended up with was a LAZY delivery driver who tried to make me come out to him to get my food(sorry that’s not what DELIVERY means), soggy and cold avocado chips, a cold tamale, no sour cream in my bean & cheese burrito that I clearly stated I’d like added, and a FLATCANNEDSODA! How is canned soda even flat??? That must mean it’s extremely old. Gross. After my initial anger subsided a little bit I called the restaurant to inquire about my order and asked for the manager. No manager there today apparently(although when Eat 24 called for me the miraculously was a manager there) and she«did not speak English» so she could not help me, even though she just told me all of this in English. Do you think I’m an idiot Dos Burritos??? I will never be ordering from them again and would be happy to see this location go out of business. Keep it up Dos Burritos– you will lose even more customers with the attitude you have.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant. The woman doing the delivery is very lazy and with an attitude about it. The food wasn’t very good and was confusing to order via the website, resulting in not being able to eat most of what I ordered. First, the half-ass delivery driver: I live in an apartment building with a front door from which most delivery people call. Not this time. She called to tell me to come outside to get my order because she can’t find parking. She didn’t ask. She didn’t apologize. She just told me to come out. She said she couldn’t find parking. It’s true the streets are not lined with open parking spaces, but this is LA. That’s how it is. You figure it out. I told her to park in the driveway(as everyone else does). She said she was. So, she did find parking, she just… what? Didn’t feel like getting up? I walked out the front door and she was parked in the driveway. Just sitting in the car. Not even getting out to meet me halfway. No apology. Nothing. She reached to the passenger seat, cigarettes and lighters falling from her lap, and handed me my order. She doesn’t provide a service, she’s a liability to the restaurant. Then the food: the chicken burrito was too spicy. But the menu did not mention anything about it being spicy. The«Bean & Cheese,» which appeared in the«What’s Good?» section of the menu without description, turned out to be a burrito and not a bowl of beans and cheese as I had imagined. The flautas were marginal… just a fried tortilla with chicken. The flan was not good, coarse and bitter… no custard flavor. All in all, a big disappointment.

Initially I requested delivery from a phone app. The delivery was prompt and the food exquisite. The taste profile of the Seco de gallina was mouth watering. Highly recommend !!

So, I used to go to this place pretty often, as it’s affordable Mexican food that is pretty good for what you get. But I stopped going for a while because I was started to be treated poorly as a customer. This I believe was for no other reason than for being white. Seriously. I would walk in, the place wouldn’t be that busy, and there would be 3 – 4 people working there that would not even greet me or recognize that I had come in to order food. They would glance at me out of the corner of their eyes, and still not come take my order. I left that day, deciding that they had forever lost a paying customer. Months later, just recently, I went back in, just to see if things had changed. And they did. A nice old lady promptly greeted me, took my order, and made sure I had everything I needed. She was very nice and caring and won be back as a customer. The food is pretty great, so I think I will continue to go back, just as long as continue to care about their customers.

was desperately craving Mexican food a few weeks back. Ordered delivery, specifically asked them to bring change– somehow they couldn’t even break a $ 10. After three phone calls form their surly female driver, and an extra call that the didn’t even have half of what I originally ordered– I received the most HORRENDOUS foo I’ve ever tried to consume! I mean DIGUSTING! $ 30 just to throw it away. Not one thing was edible. Still haven’t eaten Mexican since. This place is TERRIBLE!!! I suggest Yucas… or even a filthy diaper would be more appetizing.

I ordered from them on Eat24 recently and I got a call immediately with a lady proceeding to yell at me about messing up an order. I don’t mean like yelling like«hey I’m a bit upset» she was yelling on top of her lungs about something I had no idea about. I tell her you must have the wrong person and she continues to yell at me for about 5 mins without giving me a chance to reply. Turns out she thought I worked for eat24. Okay mistakes can happen but then the order took 2 hours from the expected wait time of 45 – 60 mins. Okay whatever Los Angeles has traffic I get that. When she got to my door the delivery lady(also the same lady on the phone) stomps on my door with what I think is her foot. I go out to get my food and she rudely tells me word for word«I don’t have time for this bullshit» she throws my food at me and leaves. I’m serious this transaction litterally took less than 5 seconds. I really wished I didn’t tip her on my card. So now I’m thinking oh wait it can’t get any worse but yes it turns out they didn’t give me my tacos that I ordered. So my friend and I sat there with half of our food at this point was so cold. At this point I was so fed up that I didn’t even want to deal with that crazy lady again. So I called Eat24 and got a refund for that bit. I learned my lesson to never tip someone before they bring you your food. It doesn’t give them an incentive to act like a civilized human being it seems. I understand people can have bad days but this was just too over the top. How can you mess up an order with 4 items in it?

As ecuadorian in los angeles where good Ecuadorian food restaurants are minimal. I have to admit that dos burritos food was very good. Defenetly Authentic and taste was exquisite. I have to say by far second to none up here in CA. So far. Even tho it was a hole in the wall the taste of the food lets you bypass all of that. The only thing I wasnt to happy with was the fact that I had to hear the owner training & teaching the help really loundly, Now I’m not saying that she shouldn’t but she should do that behind closed doors. I shouldn’t have to hear that. I would like to enjoy my meal in a peacefull atmosphere. However I defenetly like to recomend this place to any ecuadorian thats in search for some good food. Oh yea call ahead if you like some special dish. They will make it for you.

Since I arrived to LA, I have been searching for a good Ecuadorian restaurant and I think I finally found a great place… The place is run for a friendly staff, most of them ecuadorians, however some are I think mexicans… We ordered bolon de queso, tortilla de Verde, ceviche de camaron and cazuela de pescado, plus naranjilla juice… The food was awesome, truly ecuadorian food, and great flavor… The majority of dishes are around $ 12(which it’s expected)… Now, this is not a fancy place, so if you are looking for a fancy place go to el caserio(although I don’t like too much the food over there)… I strongly recommend trying here the Ecuadorian dishes, burritos and tacos are everywhere in LA but encebollados and ceviches is very rare to find…

Almost scary looking from the street, but I bet my friend they had good food. We gave it a try. It was a typical taqueria with an impressive menu. The chimichanga was well fried; still a fluffy tortilla. The chicken was flavorful and the burrito was well stuffed. The beans seemed to be made from fresh-soaked beans, not canned. They had a strange flavor at first, but I think it was the spices and nothing sinister. Nice touch was that the owner stopped by and asked us not only once, but twice, how things were. I like that kind of concern about how things are going. Enjoyed the seating outside.

Okay … FORGETTHEMEXICANFOOD!(Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it’s good — looks it anyway) What this place is is the most authentic restaurant serving Ecuadorian(South America) food in all of southern CA. You can get a taco anywhere … but for real & delicious Ecuadorian food, this is the place to be … the cook is actually from Ecuador! The food tastes homemade. Absolutely every Ecuadorian dish is good. No really … it’s delicious. The only reason for 4 stars is that SOMETIMES the owner is there and SOMETIMES the owner tends to yell. This might be disturbing to some. But … it’s largely typical in Latin American culture. One has to just look at the episode where Anthony Bourdain visits Ecuador to see that there too there is a lot of yelling in the kitchen. If it’s a bother, eat outside, or call ahead and take it to go. Favorite dishes: — ceviche de concha or ceviche de camaron(especially good for those who’ve had a lot to drink the day prior) — seco de pollo — you just can’t go wrong with this … sauce over the chicken is MMMM! — pescado frito — it’s a fried fish plate … but they use corbina(which is like a Bluefin). I don’t order fish plates anywhere else but here. — yapingacho — this is a traditional dish especially found in the northern more elevated regions of the country … so simple but the peanut butter laced sauce that goes atop is delicious(and I don’t even like peanut butter!) — bolon mixto — this is an appetizer … smashed plantain with cheese bits and the equivalent of chicarron(crunchy pork rinds) Careful with the aji(hot sauce) … ensure you try it, it really makes the dishes … but it can at times be a bit spicy.

It’s good. Sure it’s not fine dining – it’s on the southern side of Hollywood, it’s like a Mexican diner – loud, a little rough around the edges, but the people are friendly and the food is made right there in front of you. A fish burrito(fried, not this grill nonsense) will run ya a clean $ 8 even and it come con guaca, crema, lettuce, and some other fixings. Mission style, if you will. A coke on the side comes in styrofoam(a tradition) and runs a buck or two. You’ll get chips, and then more chips, and then a side of telenovela. It’s the sort of Mexican place I like to frequent frankly, the food was good, the prices manageable, and a burrito really isn’t the same without a side of Univision.
