Love Love Love Dolce V plain as hell but still cute and very classy clothing and shoes. I usually shop online and then stores if I need something asap. Their staff is very helpful. I usually call before making the drive here. There is always someone here to help with whatever you need. They don’t have a wide variety of clothes and styles to choose from but what they do have is usually cute. Love me some DV.

I LOVETHISPLACE! They have the best shoes. Always super stylish and not to $$$$$! Which can be tricky living in Hollywood. I frequent Melrose Place and the one also in Santa Monica. As soon as you walk in this place you are greeted with a hello which is lovely. I recently purchased a pair of killer black heels. I wore them a couple of times,(lost my receipt) and the strap broke. I was a little nervous about taking them back but figured I have nothing to lose. I called Dolce Vita and was told no problem, bring them back and we will do an exchange. They didn’t even ask for my name. No questions asked. I have about 10 pairs of shoes from them and will continue to shop there because of such wonderful experiences.

So this past Saturday I was in a bit of a funk. And not a «I’ll get over it funk» but a, «this is a definite funk that will require some immediate retail therapy and some shoe fondling… STAT!.» So I hit the Beverly Center with the best of money spending intentions and quite frankly after an hour or so, it left me pretty cold. So I decided to head home empty handed and on my way back to my house, this obnoxious driver next to me starts blaring their horn as I am trying to text someone while driving. Geez, let me focus. So I load my middle finger, prepare to raise it forcefully, look over ready to shoot my «Kiss my as…» glare when I realize it’s my friend. Oopsie. So we pull over and she insists I turn that frown upside down and decides that we will benefit much more from retail therapy if we do it together, so she suggests we hit Melrose Place. I had never shopped on this little strip as it always looks like it houses the kinds of stores that require your unborn child as a deposit to enter them, but hey, never know right. So we get out of our cars and stroll by a store with teasing glimpses of super cute stuff and decide to go in. Immediately we are greeted by two lovely ladies who were oh so welcoming and nice. Again not what I expected from a store like this on a street like this when I was wearing flip flops. So we start to look around and I see them. Glowing in the almost reachable distance are a pair of red flats. Next to them are the same pair in silver, navy blue, turquoise and black. I bolt over to them half expecting them to be Marc Jacob’s couture and way out of my budget only to find them on sale and $ 60! What?! On Melrose Place?! I then grab a huge two armed handful of them in several colors and handed them over, uttering only the word: 8 and within minutes my feet were prancing about the store in the most adorable shoes I’ve seen in months. I proceeded to buy them in every color, because that’s how I roll when I find a pair of shoes that look like they should cost hundreds and left this adorable little boutique happy, recharged and in the best mood ever. They also had really cute clothes that were on the pricey side, but not out of this world expensive and the quality was fabulous. I can’t say enough about my new favorite cute little store, so go check them out and tell them that Unilocaly girl sent you! Enjoy…just keep away from the size 8’s, cuz I got dibs and you wouldn’t want me to re-load my middle finger! ;)
