Dancing With Monica

My fiancé and I hired Monica to choreograph our first dance. I found her on Unilocal and saw her prices were very reasonable, so thought I would give it a shot — SO happy that I did. Monica is friendly and very talented. She put us at ease immediately and she is an excellent teacher. Before we knew it we were doing lifts and spins, and she made it all seem so easy. I am really excited about our first dance now — I really cannot recommend Monica enough!

A really great class! Fun with the perfect amount of professional. She encourages dancers to put their input and helps for a more flowing dance. With great Instuctions, Im getting a workout with a beautiful dance. Definitely coming back for the weekly class!

I have 2 left feet… and so does my fiancé. We’ve been dreading what this means for our 1^st dance when we get married in a few months. One of my bridesmaids and I started Unilocaling some dance studios and making phone calls. The cheapest we found was $ ⁸⁰⁄₁ hour session. Yikes! So I turned to Craigslist and found Monica. She charges SIGNIFICANTLY less. I was of course skeptical, but I thought we can try her for one lesson. If we like her, awesome! We save a ton of money. If we’re not learning from her, we’ll go ahead and call one of the other studios.
So far we’ve had 2 lessons with Monica, and we’re blown away! She’s SO talented as a dance instructor. She somehow got 2 awkward human beings such as my fiancé and myself to dance AND ENJOY IT! =O !
As you’ll soon learn if you come out to Monica’s place, she has a heart of gold. Her little studio is filled with art pieces. It turns out, she runs a non-​profit organization that promotes fine art among the underserved youth of Los Angeles.
In summary, if you’re looking for a crash course on dancing, like to save money, and promote the arts for underserved kids, give Monica a call.

I came to Monica’s dance as a newbie to all dance forms. Throughout the class Monica is informative and encouraging. Monica is such a sweetheart with full of dancing experience! She will always help you throughout a dance if you get lost in the steps. The exciting aspects in each dance sessions, is that we had the opportunity to choreography other forms of dance like jazz, hip hop and ballet. Not only, were the sessions fun and energizing; I always felt like I had a great sweat out at the end of each dance session.
