Apparently this place is not a karaōke bar… we read the reviews and came here as we were walking in a very sketchy«security guard»? Looking person asked my friends and I what we were there for, we said karaōke and he responded with«this is an Asian business… not karaōke anymore» not sure what that means but judging by the creepy men outside I am assuming this is some kind of whore house

I’ve never been to a karaōke that is practically empty on a Saturday night! I guess there are so many competition around the area. The only good thing about is the service. One push of a button the server’s there to attend to your needs in less than a minute. They have drinks and they give you complimentary peanuts. Because the place is empty you don’t need to worry about waiting in line.

We called earlier in the week to reserve a room but they said that they do not take reservations for weekends. They told us that there shouldn’t be a wait before 9pm. On Sat. night we arrived at exactly 9pm to get a room for 10 people and it was pretty empty. Needless to say, we had no problem getting a room. The staff was super nice and answered any questions we had from how the remote works to their alcohol specials. It started getting warm in the rooms so went and talked to the staff and they immediately turned up the A/C for us. They did everything to make our time there comfortable. Their English song selection was pretty decent and since they taught us how to search by artist or song title on the remote, it was a lot easier than scanning the book the whole night. The only issue is that their sound proofing is not great so singing with the door closed sounds just like singing with the door open. There’s Valet in the parking lot but if it gets late enough it’s just free parking in the lot. Otherwise there’s plenty of street parking. If you need cash they have an ATM machine in the hallway by the bathrooms. I’d definitely go back again. And at D-Day we didn’t encounter any«Sticky Fingers» incident like we did at Rosen LA.

If you want a chill evening to drink, my recent discovery is D Day Noraebang. If you’d rather go eye shopping and play past 2AM(they close) then don’t come here. The four things that most pepole want in a place like this are — reasonable prices, decent size rooms, good music selection, and a clean environment. By golly, we got all FOUR. Let’s get down(literally), or just break down the four items above. PRICE — $ 129 for a large bottle of hard alcohol. I’ll take the Johnny Black, please! You can also choose from Glenfiddich or Crown Royal Reserve. Pay $ 20 to $ 40 more and upgrade to Patron or Macallan. This comes with the room for 2 hours and one side entrée. Check out the soju and beer combos. NICE! ROOMS — There’s around 10 to 12 rooms here that have been recently remodeled with brand new machines, mikes, and comfortable couches. There could be a wait if you get there late but I usually call ahead. The staff is older and more chill, not high school kids that don’t give a crap about anything. YES! MUSIC — Korean, English, Japanese, and I’ll double check on the Chinese for you next time cause I don’t remember much from taking advantage of that great alcohol special that I told you about earlier. The best thing, the pages of the song book aren’t stuck together, if you get what I mean. Don’t you just hate that? SICK! CLEAN — New and remodeled from the previous business. The real test = check out the bathrooms. Nothing makes you wanna take a #1 or #2 better than a clean lavatory. COOL! Since, you’re an intelligent consumer, you know that getting to know the workers here will definitely pay off on the next visit. Ask for service, ALL kinds, cause they appreciate your return business. Ask for Sonny(Sunkoo) or Jinwoo and they’ll hook you up proper. Last Call Have trouble finding a classic old school Korean noraebang song, then check out these vidoes. Pay my tip to Sunkoo or Jinwoo ( ).

Really clean, spacious, reasonable prices. I really liked D Day. They had a good selection of music from different countries as well. And right next to 12 centimeter. Which is awesome. Service was very spot on and I enjoyed my experience very very much :)

My friend, her bf, and I visited this place this past Saturday night. I had originally seen their ad in a Korean newspaper, and was impressed by the combo specials they were running. Everything inside is new and remodeled from the place that used to be there. The furniture is new and the room we were in was nice. I don’t know how big their biggest rooms are because I didn’t see them. The book was the typical Ziller book found at many Ktown places. If you can read Korean, you know that you can use the remote to search by singer name or song title and scroll through a variety of languages: English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. For reference as to newest songs, I saw that Drake has 6 songs listed in there, and Big Bang’s latest album which just came out had songs in the system, such as Blue and Fantastic Baby. Before anyone complains about karaōke book English song selection, keep in mind that Ziller is a Korean company so of course the Korean songs will be updated more than the English ones. Their main audience of customers they’re catering to are not Americans. :-p I took a picture of the menu, which lists the combo specials. I think they’re going to be running these for the first year of operation. We went with the 2 hours of singing, 1 free anju(appetizer/food dish — there’s a bunch to choose from… we picked the Fruit Punch in a bowl), and 2 bottles of soju for $ 55 + tax. That’s a great deal in my book. You can also get 4 bottles of Hite instead of the soju. Here are some other prices from the menu: $ 8 Hites, $ 13 soju or makkeoli, $ 5 Monster energy drinks, $ 2 Cokes/Sprites/Bottled Water/Orange, Pineapple, or Cranberry Juice. I think an extra hour was only about $ 20 – 25 more when we powered through a 3rd hour. The owner was also very cool about giving me one of the Hites I ordered free for checking in with the Unilocal app. :) The staff was friendly and very easy to deal with. I went in with my guard up expecting some hidden charges or shadiness(hey, it’s Ktown) but it was all straight forward, honest, and very pleasantly surprising. It’s a tad bit out of the center of Ktown(a few blocks north of Beverly), but totally worth going to compared to most of the other Ktown noraebangs, and I’ve been to most of them. I wouldn’t spend this many words recommending them if I hadn’t had such a pleasant experience.
