Found this spot through a groupon offer. So quaint and lovely. The crepes were delicious will definitely return. I came back for a second time, and was just as satisfied. I hope this place make it for a long time.

The buckwheat crepes are amazing… I highly recommend the La Parisienne. Love the vibe. Love the food!

Literally just died and went to dessert heaven. This is by far the best crêpe I have ever had. So perfectly spongy and chewy wth a slightly sweet flavor. The strawberries were generous and the Nutella amount was just light and right. I am still dreaming of it… Damnit I need another one!!!

We came here on accident to find refuge from the rain and I was completely blown away by the quality of the food! My friends and I all had sweet crepes that came out very evenly cooked and crisp. My crêpe had Nutella and I loved that they didn’t put TOO much Nutella because I feel that people can go overboard sometimes. If I’m ever in that district of LA again I am definitely making a point to dine there and try a savory crêpe!

Parking: Parking sucks! There is is street parking but since this is a high traffic area, your chances are not good. With that said, there are a lot of paid lots in the $ 10 range. The best lot is next to the Spring Arcade Building(use this address in your GPS: 515 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA90013) for $ 6-$ 10(price fluctuates on demand so it may be even higher than this). In either case, I’d make it a point to come here and make a day out of it to get your moneys worth. Take a stroll to MOCA or The Last Bookstore. So what led to finding this place was we had just gotten back from vacationing in France and we were feeling a bit«homesick.» We had eaten dinner in a Creperie in Paris and loved it so much we came back the next day for lunch. It was just that good. Something about the cold weather, hot cider and delicious crepes that hit the spot. Wanting to relive a sliver of those times, we searched and landed upon Crepes Sans Frontieres. The food was as follows: — LAPARISIENNE — Cheese, tomatoes and caramelized onions just go so well. Ooey gooey goodness. — LABRESSE — Chicken, tomatoes and cheese. Couldn’t go wrong. — Dessert Crêpe(forgot the name of this) — This had nutella, strawberries, bananas and cream. Very delicious and hit the spot. Service was perfect and the people there are Parisians. We even spotted some Brittany Flags! Perhaps the owners are from that part of France? Who knows! Overall, this really hit the spot taste wise and it really brought us back to being in Paris. Hopefully the owners are around and there aren’t that many people so we can strike up some conversations! On a side note: I’ve had crepes before, but it wasn’t until Paris and then Crepes Sans Frontieres that I understood what a good crêpe was.

I’ve been searching for a good creperie since moving to SoCal(Irvine, CA specifically) 3 years ago. Staying in downtown hotel, this was the one of the closest creperies and by far the most recommended. All of were glad we went because the crepes were fantastic. We ordered 2 buckwheat and one wheat. I’ve never been a fan of buckwheat savory crepes but that’s because I’ve never had them the way they are supposed to be made! As I said, the crepes are fantastic but I also recommend trying the Brittany Salted Caramel latte. The proprietor is extremely kind and she didn’t hesitate to converse with any and all customers. She has a good eye for staff as well as our server was amazing in every respect. We will definitely be coming back to CSF in the future for ourselves as well as any friends that come to visit us and want to see downtown LA and the cuisines it offers.

Had the savory section crêpe. I made my own with chicken, jack cheese, mushrooms and Carmelized onions. Wow, it was so delicious. I asked for hot sauce and they brought out the house made hot sauce, it was so good! It also packed a punch. They also start you with some peanuts and olives. Super cute place with very very reasonable pricing. I will be back.

I stumbled across this place while waiting to see a show at the Los Angeles Theater. If you are looking for a place in the LA Downtown Broadway district to grab a bite to eat, you know that your options are limited. However, look no further. This crêpe place has it all. I took off one star for slow service when we were literally the only ones inside. Otherwise, great food, fun atmosphere, fair pricing, and great location to the LA theater district. Next time you are in the area, check it out!

It was my first time here. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu offers organic buckwheat crepes. The food was very savory and filling. Service was excellent. You can also watch them make the crepes, which was a special treat.

I would eat this restaurant’s lavender, honey and lemon crêpe every morning if I had my druthers. Crepes Sans Frontieres is an authentic, French place in a beautiful old arcade in dtla. They serve crepes made from buckwheat, which is the style from Brittany and the authentic French crêpe for hundreds of years. Also, everyone that works here speaks French. The service has always been very good every time I came. I usually make it by during happy hour and there is a special that varies, for example $ 5 house wine or 20% off bottles and an assiette of fromage or charcuterie. One time there were two violinists playing. It has a full Euro coffee bar, plus a Nutella latté that I have yet to try but sounds intriguing. Laid back, good food and wine, I’m getting hungry writing this review…

Crepes, crepes, yum, and crepes! The BUCKWHEAT savory crepes are made in real-deal French style(as opposed to most LA «creperies») and the sweet crepes are so delicate and delicious — try to lavender and honey! The staff and setting are charming and unpretentious. It’s a great place to sit down and have a glass of wine, enjoy a crêpe, and relax. You can even practice your French with the waitstaff, who are all French. I do wish they would stay open later — maybe just a front window that serves to-go«street-style» nutella crepes at midnight after some downtown karaōke and beers.

I love this little hidden French crepes place. I randomly came across this crepes place as I was visiting a friend in down town LA. A small café but, but they can make a variety of yummy crepes from breakfast to dessert types. I tried their healthy buckwheat crêpe, super delicious with a hot cappuccino. This is a very cute café that has a European feel to it. I live in San Diego but would love to visit back once I am in LA again and try their other specialties on their menu.

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots! My go to order for savory crêpe is the L’italienne(basil, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella), I switch up the savory crêpe plate. For a sweet crêpe La Colombienne(Nutella and banana), ALWAYS. Lavazza coffee served. Coffee ice cubes when you order the iced coffee. The bf’s go to plate is the smoked salmon bagel which is also delicious.

Came here after Sunday Morning service at New City Church of LA(across the street, and highly recommend also for anyone because it’s so welcoming to all people). I ordered the Avocado Toast(w/o egg) and smoked salmon and sampled the La Rennaise savory crêpe and La Madame from my friends’ plates. I’ve honestly had better avocado + lox meals, but I gave an extra star for the feel of the place and the service. Price is competitive, so come and enjoy this place if you’re craving crepes(I’m sure their dessert ones are better) and not side-tracked by one of the many other restaurants in the little plaza!

Cute french diner located in the heart of DTLA. Perfect for an intimate date. We ordered a savory crêpe as well as a sweet one. The atlantic fresh salmon crêpe was perfect! What a way to get my omega 3 on! The salmon was light, fresh, and well cooked. The lavender crêpe was just pure honey. I was not impressed. I think it made me bloated too. It’s literally just crêpe and honey with infused lavender. Not much else going on. Service was great! They did not rush us even though we were dbags and came within 15 min of closing time.

The crepes here are nothing like the crepes we usually have in the sense that the texture is extra chewy. My aunt and I got one savory and one sweet crêpe. I got the Le Bresse with regular crêpe and she got the La Colombienne with the buckwheat. The different crepes are both delicious by itself and made even better with their fillings. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. They all speak French to each other and with the European music they were playing, it’s like I’m in Paris! This is a great place to just hang out with friends or be on your laptop by yourself. Will definitely come back to try out different flavors!

We ordered a savory and sweet. Got the buckwheat for the savory and was so glad I did. Great food! Great service. The lavender crêpe was perfect if your looking for something light and not too sweet. La Parisian had cheese, mushrooms and was a delicious savory crêpe that filled us up.

Welcomed warmly by all staff when I came in, and saw they greeted every single person the same way =) Watching Crepes being made is a joy. The décor and atmosphere are perfect blend of euro-kitch and authentic, serious pride in cuisine. I regret having to take my La Parisenne to go as I would love to enjoy the full experience of dining here(I will soon) I am, however, proud to have the foresight of ordering a vanilla latte which made all my co-workers extremely jealous to smell.(* CSF makes their vanilla syrup in house!) definitely coming back and bringing friends with good taste.

I was absolutely in love with this place! I’m not very familiar with the area but I know it’s off Spring Street closer to the Broadway side. It’s located inside a little indoor mall looking place but it looks like a lot of the shops are closed or being renovated. I’ve heard GREAT things about their coffee but I went during lunch time so I decided on a savory crêpe. I decided to build my own but they have their Specialy savory crepes but also panini’s, salads, and dessert crepes. The prices range around $ 9 – 14 depending on what you order. My crêpe came with a side of salad. The crêpe was cooked to perfection. Not too salty and not too bland. The portion was pretty good for the price especially with the salad on the side. The service is here is great. I think the workers/owner might actually be from France but I can’t be sure(they had what sounded like french accents?) They checked on us frequently and although they were super busy, always made sure we were happy with our order. I hope to come back soon! :)
