Churro Stix

I was having inferior churros from a completely different place when I suddenly remembered these perfectly sugared and incredibly crispy churros from my company’s 2015 holiday party. I called up our party planner and beseeched her for the name.
«Churrostix,» she said.
I could seriously mainline these things if it weren’t for the sad fact that I wouldn’t have the pleasure of chewing them. I want them to cater every event for the rest of my life. Birthday, wedding, funeral, you name it. They’re that friggin’ good.

Everything I tried here was 5 stars!
Do yourself a favor and get the ice blended horchata latte! Order it with the whipped cream if you’re feeling extra guilty: P You’ll seriously thank me later.
The 8 small churros with the filling in it was so bomb! You can choose up to 6 fillings: Nutella, tres leches, chocolate, raspberry, Bavarian cream and cream cheese. My personal favorites were the chocolate and cream cheese. You can also get dipping sauces such as chocolate or condensed milk but it’s already decadent on its own. The churros are so crunchy and made fresh to order. I’m already hooked! Next time I’m definitely getting the horchata latte and will try the Fruit Delight.

We made it just in time before they closed. We tried their sticks as well as the churro ice cream sandwich. Not thrilled about it. The churros was ok. I prefer the ones from the cart. The sandwich was what I was excited about but when I got it, it was not as crispy as I thought it would be. I am not sure if they cooked the batter enough. It was a bit greasy also. Great concept.

Their churros are sooooo awesome! I ordered Nutella flavor filled churros and two other cream flavors, the Nutella one definitely beats the other two. It’s fresh, crunchy, hot and just right amount of filling. I have visited Topanga mall many times but didn’t get the chance to order some churros. Found the best churros in town! Will check their other products soon!

They made me some churros and they had no cinnamon on them. I took them back and she wouldn’t make me new ones. She asked me what do you want me to do? She told me it was a health code violation to take the ones that I had back. I told her I didn’t want them back. I wanted her to make new ones. She said she couldn’t do that. Awful customer service. Biggest waste of $ 5.99. This place has surprisingly good reviews. It’s bad customer service and poor quality control that makes businesses like this go downhill and eventually out of business. I hope they change their ways.

My usual Auntie Ann’s pretzels has been sidelined since my recent discovery of Churro Stix inside the Westfield Mall. I’ve been here a few times and find them irresistible.
This quaint tiny kiosk is located on lower level next to Macy’s. Nice snack size portions and affordable.
Recently, tried their 10 mini churros ($ 6) and churro ice cream sandwich ($ 5), both were wonderful. The mini churros were piped with the following fillings: nutella, guava, dulce de leche, vanilla, raspberry and chocolate fudge. Perfect bite size, shareable (unless you have a hoarding disorder) and so-​so yummy. Lightly crisp exterior, chewy and moist inside. All the fillings were on point. My personal preference was the raspberry and dulce de leche. The churro ice cream sandwich was just as good. Not spectacular like Churro Burrough, but enough to satisfy my cravings for something sweet, crisp and creamy. Only 3 flavored ice creams were on hand — vanilla, chocolate and cookies n cream. Got the vanilla with mine and it paired nicely.
Service overall was good. There’s a little waiting involved because everything is made to order and fresh.
Definitely worth checking out, if you can handle the sugar and calories or just walk it off at the mall.

I literally drove from LA just to try this place. Not to mention the maze and walking I had to do and I do not regret coming here just for churro’s. The menu is pretty easy and it was helpful that I brought someone with me. Luckily I was able to try two different things because we shared. I ordered the assorted mini churros and the churro ice cream sandwich. I usually go with strawberry or raspberry where ever I go but my decision was hard to make so I decided to try all of them. My personal favorite was the strawberry.

Almost as good as the one in Downtown Disney, California Churro, but not exactly. The churros here are really good and made to order. They are very soft and sugared just right. My only problem is that they are small, or maybe I just eat too much. Whatever the case may be I am glad we have something in the valley that is good.
Waaaay better than Churro Bourough in Silver Lake. I used to get my churro ice cream fix there but it wasn’t good.

This churro stand may not look like much but it truly changed the way I look at churros. These were the best churros I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a fair share of churros). Churro Stix is a place you have to try!

It’s a shock, but I don’t like donuts… or any fried dough type things, including churros. Not only is it shocking, you’re probably thinking, it’s weird, too. I will grant you that, but it still doesn’t change my reality. So, you ask, why on earth would I bother trying THIS place? Because I have 2 daughters and a husband who dream about churros, and one daughter in particular who will make an annual pilgrimage from NY to Disneyland (yes, Disneyland) for her favorite churro. When her trip to Disneyland (over Thanksgiving) got scrapped, the goal for eating a churro did NOT. Enter Churro Stix at Topanga Plaza.
Even though the NY daughter entertained thoughts of getting a churro ice cream sandwich, she ended up getting 6 – 8 mini churros, which each had a dollop of some kind of amazing gooeyness… she chose nutella, dulce de leche, chocolate, and cream cheese. My daughter’s favorites were the chocolate and the cream cheese. I took a bite of the dulce de leche and the chocolate. I have to say, it was really good. I still wouldn’t order them on my own, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The dough was warm and soft… didn’t at all taste cold or stale, and the icing component added a nice flavor boost… not that it was needed, though. My churro nuts of a family all loved these… although my husband wanted more of that icing stuff. I thought it was a nice churro to icing ratio. My daughter said that if you love churros, Churro Stix is a really good choice.

Delicious churros! If you check in on Unilocal you dave 10% which is a great perk. The filled churros are my favorite. Nutella and cream cheese stuffing is so good! They are all made fresh and you can definitely taste it in the quality. The customer service is fantastic too, all the workers are very sweet. There is sometimes a line but it goes by fast. Since it is in the mall there is plenty of parking outside. They are located on the first floor close to macys :)

They have churro ice cream sammies which I have to come back for!
We went with an order of the mini churros and they were perfect!
Nice and crunchy, made to order, as you have to eat churros within minutes of being made or else they lose their appeal.
Service was nice, portions and prices fair, worth going back to when I’m at the mall again.

I had a cone of Churros and the Horchata Latte. Had a lot more shopping to do but decided to go home and enjoy the goodness in peace!

I ordered the filled churros for $ 6.50. You get 12 mini churros filled with your choice of fillings. You can just ask for one of each. My personal faves were the raspberry and the cream cheese, though Nutella and dulce de leche were pretty fantastic.
Like I mentioned before, they fry up the dough on the spot so there’s a slight wait time, but the churros are fresh and hot and positively sinful. The fillings literally leak out of the other end when you take a bite. I think they’re meant to be one bite things, but I was trying to savor mine so I ended up with fillings spilling all over the tray. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Located downstairs over by the Macy’s. It’s a stand! A churro stand (insert heart emojis here).

Located inside Topanga mall right outside of Macy’s. I love this mall so yes, it gets a full star for location. 10 mini CHURROS filled with 8 fillings for $ 6.99 (Nutella, raspberry, caramel, vanilla, chocolate fudge, and 3 other good ones I can’t remember the names of). Although the service was friendly and helpful, you have to wait a bit because they don’t make them ahead. They cook to order to ensure your churros are super fresh. Mm mm mm… Soo good! I also had the CHURROS topped with fruits and drizzled with whatever filling you choose— again, super delish .
Try them all! Can’t wait to try the ice cream churro next time

Wowzersss thanks to the Unilocal talk newsletter they mentioned churro places and this place was listed on the newsletter I bookmarked it and came here last night. The churros here are unreal and just beyond amazingggg! We ordered the regular churro sticks and I ordered the churro with vanilla ice cream. You can choose from chocolate, vanilla, or cookies and cream. Mind you these are not the typical churros we are use to eating when we were younger. These churros are super soft, very fresh tasting and just damn good!
The churros were super fresh, super hot and super delicious. I literally took a bite and it was an explosion in my mouth, the hot and cold was just soooo goood! Ahhhh. I can still taste it as I’m writing this and wiping the drool off my mouth. They didn’t hesitate either they gave me a big old scoop of vanilla ice cream too, it was messy but perfect!
The churro stix were really good as well and I loved that they came out fresh, service here was nice and took only 5 minutes for it to come out. I wish I would have checked in because I would have got 10 percent off but my phone was dead, boo hoo but for future I will make sure to do so. The prices here are not too bad they also have churros with filling, churros with a fruit topping and you can choose what drizzle you want.
Best churros I have ever had in my life, best churro ice cream sandwich. I highly, highly, highlyyy recommend coming here. Soooooo good!!! I’m coming here again next week! =)

My guilty pleasure mall food is generally Wetzel’s Pretzels, but for some reason the other day I was craving something sweet and stumbled upon Churro Stix. Since there was no one in line, the guy fried up a fresh batch for me and chopped the churros into pieces since I ordered the bites. They were warm, sweet and crunchy with cinnamon sugar!
The problem is, there were way too many! I probably threw two-​thirds of them away because it was just too much for one person. Fried foods don’t usually keep very well, so it was pointless to save them for later. I wish they had smaller sizes at a cheaper price because $ 5.99 is kind of a lot to pay for a snack. Maybe like two churros and a dipping sauce for $ 3.50? Or if you’re feeling particularly gluttonous, there’s a churro ice cream sandwich too!

Only reason why I come to the mall! These little treats of pastry are just simply delightful. Surprised not a lot of people know about this place. If you are at the Topanga Mall this is a must try! You won’t regret it. Sometimes the line makes you think «never mind», it goes by fast and worth the wait! You won’t regret it!

That said. The price tag of this place and the long line were huge indicators for me not to go but when the line dissipated and crowd cleared I gave it a shot. I tried the stuffed churros with all the flavors minus the last two seasonal ones and they were fucking amazing. Btw I really am not fond of sweets but these were good.
Best part is my daughter spewed all the nutella and raspberry filling all over her brand new Easter dress hahaha shit.
