Do not go through the drive thru. You will be waiting 10 to 15 minutes just to place your order. Even when no one is in the drive-through you will still have to wait for the staff to prepare orders for customers at the counter. The worker seem nice just seems like the place is consistently understaffed. It’s unfortunate to see this location the way it is considering the company has been in decline for years.

Even though it’s a slow day the cashier should still at least greet the customer with a smile. When I walked up to the window to order I seen one of the employees who makes the food not wearing gloves around the good and she was on her phone. Everyone just took it as a day to just be lazy and it wasn’t really good customer service when the cashier has this annoyed look while I order. I like Church’s because I used to go there as a child but do not go to this one if you can afford to drive to a different Church’s establishment

Slow as hell. Was in drive thru for over 15min. When I was finally able to place my order they were out of almost everything I wanted. REALLY??? No corn on the cob, no spicy chicken and NOWHITEMEAT for a «mixed» family meal. Excuse me but not everyone desires just legs & thighs. DAMN!!! Also why do you advertise«family sized» sides if you don’t have the containers or lids? I just don’t get it. Don’t know if it’s just this location but I won’t be back anytime soon

If I do drive down here it’s usually on Saturdays and there’s no line. I drive up and have always received pretty great costumer service(ex. I don’t feel rushed by the person taking my order and they’re polite when I ask for condiments). Today I used a coupon from the company’s website and got an awesome deal! I greatly appreciate the delicious food and taste in the ingredients used by Church’s Chicken, the sides are freaking good. lol(I recommend the Chicken strips) it’s hard to find good meals nowadays. Any ways I’ll continue returning when I crave top notch fried chicken!(KFC does not actually use chicken fyi)

Place is in the ghetto. I love danger! Chicken is off the hook. Passing through on Crenshaw on my scooter from Redondo to Hollywood.

This establishment is consistently slow. Been in the drive thru almost 15 minutes. I could have plucked the chicken myself. Didn’t help the guy at the window was rude to me. The food was decent though.

Jeeeeezus. So I started my timer for the drive through for shits and giggles and had to already be at 4 minutes when I started the timer in the first place. Captains log: I am now at 7:40 something waiting behind someone else for my food. This is ridonkulous! at 10:04 mins I have pulled up for my food. cashier asks for payment at 12:39 mins Receipt returned at 14:52 Drink given at 15:37 Returns with food at 18:15 Finally left at 18:26 mins… Glad I wasn’t starving!!! Fast food my arse. Slowest service EVER.

I must say, this is the most GHETTO church’s EVER!!! The food was great however, the employee(the Black lady) who worked at around 8:45pm on 6÷1÷2012 was extremely loud, gave her family free food, had her daughter running around the establishment while customers were present, cursing at her friends while they sat in the eating area, and had a confrontation with a drive-thru customer. Simply GHETTO!!! The 15 minutes I had to wait for my wings to get cooked were pure and simple torture!!! Ijs

It’s churches. It’s fried chicken. It’s expensive unless you get a meal deal. The attendants are always polite though. That’s a plus.

re: previous review, the wait actually was* kinda long. needed to kill some time & appetite before tutoring math, so i busted a U towards the $ 2.99 sign for chicken tenders. patience was rewarded handsomely. HUGE chicken tenders. not no thumb-sized burger king tenders. they told me most items are freshly fried on order.(hence, the wait.) but i can’t remember the last time i was burnt by chicken at a franchise. it was lovely. :) in comparison to my usual popeye’s runs, the chicken here has a slightly smokier taste & thinner crisp to its deep fry. the biscuits here are yumz, honey subtly baked into little carousel shapes. what fine establishment in crenshaw doesn’t have bulletproof glass? lol. listen, i look at joints like this like i do viet & chinese places for food. the more hood/hole-in-the-wall a spot, likely, the better its food. i will come back again. often.

Long story short: While we were waiting for Woody’s bb-q to open on Slauson, we came here to grab a snack to hold us over. And it wasn’t bad at all, it just took forever to get our food when we were the only people there(3). The fried okra was great. The dirty rice was really tasty, very spicy and full of meat. Very moist. I should’ve gotten a bigger order. The chicken tenders with jalapeño sauce were good. But the damn order, as small as it was took 15 minutes. Ambiance: None. You order from behind bulletproof glass. I wasn’t sure if my car was gonna be out there when I came back…
