I will never go back to this place. Every time I go for lunch the service is bad, & the staff is rude. The beef in the beef broccoli is always undercooked. Yesterday’s lunch was the worst. The beef was very raw, the chicken was pink, & there was a feather still attached to the fried chicken wing. I showed 3 workers & none of them cared & just walked away. The manager said the beef was«Medium» & is supposed to be like that, & he also walked away. I still received a bill for raw food that I couldn’t eat. On the way out I was talking to the manager about the situation & he was huffing & puffing while shaking his head. I uploaded photos here to show.

I don’t know why people are plaguing this place with bad reviews it’s clean service is quick and amiable and for $ 8 for dinner with ridiculous amounts of choices, of course you’re not going to get gourmet Chinese food! It’s decent though and there’s a wide selection with lots of different meats and fish(and even crab!). Really three stars but I’ll give them four because of the low ratings.

Not a bad buffet… considering the lunch price is only $ 6. If you are expecting Benihana quality for this price then you will be let down. If you walk into China Buffet knowing that you are paying $ 6 and the food quality to match then you’ll be pleasantly surprised. They have Mongolian BBQ where you can select either beef or chicken and then veggies and noodles. Your basic set up, not too many options. Then they have your typical Chinese food buffet foods and I must say, they weren’t all that bad. Orange chicken, coconut chicken, terriyaki chicken, duck, fried trout, pizza, fries, beef and broccali, desserts etc. Service was punctual, water refilled on time, checking out was quick and overall a good experience. I would definitely call this place«bang for the buck» eating. I’ve paid $ 20 per person in other places and the quality of food was about the same. Parking is a nightmare, so you’ll probably end up parking behind the restaurant and paying $.25 for every 30 minutes. Be careful not to park in front of the laundromat… the security guard there is pretty aggressive with reinforcing the no parking rules! LOL!

Definitely far from some of the best Chinese food places I have eaten. Their Sriracha chili sauce in a bottle is not Sriracha at all. They must be recycling their own recipe back into the bottles, because it was a totally different taste and horrible. Their sweet-and-sour sauce tasted sweet-and-sour as in going extremely bad. I would have given it a second star but not having Sriracha sauce in the Sriracha bottle is unacceptable.

Ridiculously cheap prices, so it’s hard to complain too much about small things! Been going with my entire family since it opened years ago and still count it as a regular place to go for a low-cost filling lunch or dinner. In particular, the Mongolian grill included in the lunch price is a gem! You pick exactly what you want in terms of noodle type, veggie toppings, and meats and then give it to the worker. They fry it up right in front of you! Fresh, delicious, steaming hot. My absolute favorite. The buffet offerings range from not great to pretty damn good. In my opinion though, no matter what your favorites are this lunch is definitely worth it. For those who complain about things like waiting a bit for water to come and mark this place down for that, I recommend you go somewhere where you pay more than $ 5.99 for an tasty, unlimited lunch.

This is one of those you get what you pay for. You can’t beat a $ 5.99 lunch. I went today for lunch with my mom. We saw one woman come in and take Tupperware containers and filled then at the food bar and put them in a bag and left without paying. There was another woman near us who was putting food in her purse. Cmon people! Today the friend chicken wings were bloody red on the inside. Again, you get what you pay for.

My boyfriend and I have eaten here once before. I don’t think we plan to go back. It is cheap but I would rather go spend my money at the Burger King a couple blocks from them. Some of their food looks safe to eat while others just need a different recipe. Don’t be fooled. The heat lamps don’t seem to be doing their job. I think the restaurant just bought your average lamps from Walmart and stuck them on just so you could see your food. I tried some of their sushi. Was not appetizing. I think the only thing that I kept going back to were the fries but even those were soggy and tasted bland. I just like french fries and did not feel like trying anything else.

You get what you pay for… literally. It’s cheap for a reason. The warmers need to be fixed because they’re not keeping the food hot, warm to say the least. Need to work on customer service and need to do their job by going around and checking if the customers need drinks. I had to go 3 times behind the wall to get my husband and I a refill and during that time we never saw our waitress. When we were finishing up is when we saw her most. Food needs more spice/flavor and better customer service end of story.

I’ve been coming here about 3 years, I quit dining here a few months ago because the quality of food had declined. Decided to give it one more try today. Food was fresh and replenished often, air conditioning working, pleasant atmosphere, clean. Takes a while to get a refill. Ordered iced tea was brought hot jasmine tea in a teapot with a glass of ice, after several attempts to explain finally received brewed ice tea. All said, this place is a bargain for lunch.

My wife and I had lunch here at noon. There were only a very few people which I get was a shame because the food were fresh, they were great and the service was great as well. They picked up the used plates quite frequently. The price is also great. Like in most buffet restaurants, I believe if you go during their peak times, the food is much fresher. I recommend this place during peak times. I say this because when we came here a couple times during off peak, the food was not as that good. We were not happy. Each time we come during peak times, everything is great!

Save your money and go to Panda Express. From the moment my family and I walked in the door, it was a horrible experience. First the hostess(if she deserves that title) had the nerve to question my 2 year olds age, insisting that he was over 3. I felt like bringing in his birth certificate to rub it in her face. The food was bland. And the customer service was terrible. Yes they have free refills, but it took 30 minutes to get them. Oh, and I could have sworn it is illegal to serve shark fin soup. The only good thing about this place was the almond cookies for dessert.

A group of us went for lunch. The food was fabulous! Sometimes buffets have stale food sitting out. But everything here was fresh and yummy. The sushi was good, the potstickers yummy. There was Chinese food, lots of shellfish, even salad, fruit, soft serve ice cream, and much more. $ 16.00 all you can eat with a drink. Yum!

What?! People are so hard to please these days. Stop being a diva. Look this is definitely a several steps above Panda Express. Panda for me is the lowest tier Chinese food and China buffet tops it off any day. You have Mongolian, a salad bar, dessert bar, soups, appetizers and the main entrées. The lobby and food trays were really clean and the food was delicious! I guess the perception of value comes into place when people see it’s «cheap» .cheap doesn’t necessarily mean low quality! Put a blind fold over these people’s eyes and they won’t notice anything. I know they say«you get what you pay for»…but for this restaurant it exceeded my expectations. For the price, it’s worth my while. Stop looking at the price tag and if it helps, eat blind folded!

The prices are real cheap, *hints* the food won’t be top quality. But when it comes to satisfying your budget and hunger, yeah, it’ll do. The service isn’t good either need a beverage, be prepared to sip it slowly. The reason being the servers show up until way later, when your dying of thirst lol. One thing I will not leave out is the restroom, not appealing what so ever, it’s very disgusting, there is always toilet paper every where and not clean I try not using the restrooms when I’m there, but when you gotta go you gotta go. I will compare this place to taco bell if taco bell, because when ya broke no one complains about taco bell.

This is exactly what it advertises itself as: $ 4.99AYCE generic Chinese. It is a bit lower to or equal to(in quality) to Panda Express. Would I come here for dinner? Heeeelllllll noooooo… …but for chinese fast food… yah…it’s fresher than most non-AYCE chinese. We have all gone to Panda Express at one point where you can obviously tell it was sitting out there for a while. Thanks to the senior citizen lunch crowd you don’t get that problem here. They are constantly grazing at the food so it has a good turnover rate in terms of freshness. So if your in the area and craving cheap greasy chinese fast food, pull your belly up and drop $ 5. Afterwards walk across the street to Greenthumb or go antiquing down the block of downtown Canoga Park. Heck if your feeling a good walk go to the Topanga Westfield and walk a couple laps around there to stave off the greasy grim reaper following you.

I am convinced that there is a secret warehouse where you can buy«Asian Buffet Chow» in bulk. You buy the starter kit, then get refills. Because no matter where the buffet is, it has the same things. Including the dry tasteless baked goods, and the whole bananas in bright red sauce that look like they’ve been murdered. To save the day, we went across the street and visited the birds at Canoga Discount Birds.

Let’s start with first impressions, walking in, the restaurant is large, clean and décor is simple. There isn’t a vast selection of food but decent. I only went for staples like mushrooms, kung pao chicken, green beans, garlic shrimp, etc. I sampled just a little to taste and it was all good. Now, this isn’t Pick Up Stix or P.F Chang’s but it’s good food that’ll fill you up for lunch or dinner on those nights you just don’t feel like cooking. The price is dirty cheap, both my husband and i had lunch for $ 21. That price included drinks and dessert. Great bargain if you ask me. If you’re looking for chinese cuisine, you’re not going to find it here for $ 10 a person. When you want fine dining, you Don’t drive thru McDs and order of the dollar menu. The staff was nice and kept our drinks full and table clean. It works, for what it is, cheap Chinese food… and it’s all you can eat!!!

My second time to this place. I wanted to give it another shot, when you first walked in there’s a odd weird smell. The food doesn’t have any flavor. It’s missing something. They don’t really have a big selection of food. The sushi is something else, it’s hot when grab it from the buffet area. I wish they could make it when you want it. The food isn’t hot, it’s cold(medium). The décor is nice around. The carpet was really dirty along with the restroom. The workers don’t speak English.
