Back To Total Health

Went here for years and sent them multiple clients. This review is not about the doctor but the billing department. Every time I came into this office I had my insurance pre approved because I could not afford more than a co pay. I went in many times with no issues. I just paid my co-​pay and got my adjustment. After coming here for years I got a bill for $ 150 because the billing department obviously did not submit two of the many claims properly and they did not go through. I called to let them know that it must have been an error on their end because all of my other appointments went through insurance and I could not pay the bill. The women screamed and me, call me «boo-​boo» and hung up on me. It was so unprofessional and disrespectful. I should not have to pay because someone there misfiled nor should anyone speak to a customer that way.
I love Dr. Eric an would love to give him 5 stars but could not consciously send anyone else here after the way I was treated.

Dr. Eric, Gino, & Carrie have all provided me with excellent treatment and care. My upper back constantly goes out of place from my occupation and they always fix me and make me feel better. Even my hips or legs sometimes go out of place and they put the back, I literally walk more straight after! No matter what problem I have, they always know how to treat it. Thanks to all of you!

This is with a heavy heart that I have decided to post this review.
I was a long time patient at back to total health and there have been a series of unfortunate events that has caused the need to post this review.
About 3 years ago I had a car accident and went to Dr eric Schwartz and the back to total health team for treatment. After being hospitalized and way over my deductible I started treatment. Dr eric said he was going to file against the personal injury claim instead of using my insurance to this I questioned why and he said sometimes you can get more than the 20 treatments that my insurance would allow. While in the middle of my treatments dr eric continued to get more and more sexually inappropriate with each visit (telling me how hot I looked, then commenting on my butt, then commenting I shouldn’t shave my chest etc) all seemed harmless until he actually exposed himself showing me how he doesn’t «trim» his pubic hair. Like I said it was harmless but at this point in my treatment and how bad I was injured I didn’t appreciate it and was very uncomfortable. I started scheduling my treatments with dr Gino and the female doctor Schwartz. After my case was settled and it settled for the minimum liability insurance dr Schwartz was never listed as a creditor and had never filed his personal injury paperwork and contacted me about his settlement and I made him aware that my attorney had settled everything and paid out all creditors. Next thing I know I am being contacted by a bill collector saying I owe 2200 dollars. All of the treatments were covered under insurance but since his office did not file then they were past the deadline to claim. So his bill collector tried to tell me I saw the doctor all of these visits in 2014 when my accident and claims were 2013. Their bill collector calls me screaming telling me I am scum and need to pay my bills. Cigna is investigating this all currently. I feel like this is all because of me stopping because of the sexual overtones that doctor eric pushed my way.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS CHIROPRACTOR SINCE THIS INCIDENT I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE PEOPLE SAY THE SAME THING.
I AM FILING IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT, BBB AND CHIROPRACTIC BOARDS.
