This place is great, hands down. More fusion than the K-town spots that I’ve been to, but that’s not at all a bad thing. Flavorful, fresh meats, delicious sides, tasty house sauce, and awesome, on point servers and staff. My most recent trip there was wonderful, and Tony, our server went out of his way to make sure it was a great night. I will definitely be returning soon, and I can’t wait to go back!

This place is amazing, I’ve been to Moon 2, and Moon 3 and this place tops it. The meat is fresh not frozen. The sauces seem to be a house blend or they have an amazing supplier. The service was outstanding, like literally when my drink was close to being done I had another one brought to me without being asked. To be more specific and technical the grills are heavy duty no need to be replaced while cooking, plus the signs around the place are hilarious.

This place was great! They really want you to eat all of it. I went there on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but we got seated in about 5 minutes. Our drinks and vegetables were brought out almost within 4 minutes of us sitting down. Our waiter asked us for our meat and brought the first 3 bowls. Just two people, about 14 total bowls and 2 hours later, we were so stuffed. Our waiter came back and insisted we order more! No way! Anyways this place is awesome along with the food and service.

got our food & the guy forgot to turn on our grill. So we get to cooking our food & my friend is vegetarian so she had her half of the grill. Her food didn’t cook at all, we asked to light the flame higher & he said to wait a couple minutes and we had already been there for 10 waiting! Then there was a hair in the veggies & a guy pretending to be a manager gave us such attitude & waved the hair in my friends face, what an asshole! Instead of trying to find a solution he just accused us for the hair. My friend was starving & so upset & said she refused to pay for the food & he told my friend to relax but he’s trippin so we got up &left. Won’t be returning ever again

Tony is an awesome manager. Everytime I visit from oregon I have to eat here. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding and it feels like I’m visiting with family whenever I eat at Ay Do No… my daughter is fatally allergic to dairy and Tony and his staff always go above and beyond for her. We always feel safe and know that my daughter can eat there without worrying about being contaminated. Thank you Ay Do No, and of course Tony.

We’re locals & love eating here. It’s a cool vibe and the food is good; the pork bul-go-gi is our favorite. Came here tonight and Tony, our server, was beyond amazing with his service and friendliness! He has waited on us before and we have experienced the same great service from him. As it’s all you can eat, you are constantly ordering side dishes, meats and vegetables. He made sure that we got everything we needed as soon as we needed refills on the food or drinks. Thank you Tony! We’ll be back.

My friends had been here before so we drove to Hollywood to enjoy some KBBQ and I definitely am down to try a new spot. Friday night, and the place was empty. We even called ahead to see how long he wait was. When we arrived only 6 people were inside. We were asked to wait a few minutes while our table was being cleaned. No problem there. After being seated and settled, we turned on our pilot and waited for it to heat up. When our meat came, and we started cooking it, noticing that the heat wasn’t high enough. When we asked about it, the guy just said to wait a few more minutes and it will get hotter. It never did. Honestly, I was extremely disappointed with this place. The sides did not look or taste fresh and the service was awful. The two guys working would walk past our table over and over and never refill our coke. In the end, we waited and waited for him to bring the check until i finally waled to the back to let him know. We were all frustrated at the end. I would not go back to this location nor recommend it to anyone.

Went to Ay-Do-No last night and was thrilled, This is not the place to go if you’re looking for a traditional KBBQ experience. This is where you go if you want really flavorful, quality meats and super cheap tap beers. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. She described everything in great detail and was attentive, funny, and very very fast with meat and drink refills. We let her pick our meats and everything she brought us was awesome. We’ll be asking for her from now on, excellent service. We got the $ 17.99 per person, 9 meat package. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the spicy chicken and the beef bulgogi. The house salad was especially good, but the majority of the sides are on the spicy side, so watch out. Overall an excellent experience, can’t wait to go back.

I have mixed feelings about this place. If you want authentic Korean BBQ, DON’T come here! It’s definitely a fusion place. The server was really nice but it took foreverrrrrr to get and drinks or food, and as you know, kbbq is all about the food and drinks pouring in, so when there is a delay, it’s noticeable. The food was pretty good but DEFINITELYOVERPRICED! I think the meat quality was good, but I can’t really tell the difference. But still, not worth the money.

This is the place I go to when I don’t wanna drive all the way to Koreatown. Reasonably priced. Down side is that there are no salad refills. Service could be better. Took forever to pay and leave.

Food coma, 24 hours later. This place is great! I’ve been meaning to eat here for a while now, and finally decided to stop by with some friends. The spicy chicken was a standout with some of the best flavor I’ve had at any KBBQ. Went in on a Sunday night, and there wasn’t many other people here, but service was extremely attentive and we found easy(free) street parking. I’m a fan.

This is a very good kbbq AYCE joint. The only reason I’m giving it a 3star is bc solely based on my own preference. I prefer the more traditional kbbq places and feel like this is more Americanized. I wouldn’t be surprised that a lot of people would see this as a 4 or 5 star joint. Great service, pretty décor, decent food and prices. Like I mentioned a lot of the sides weren’t authentic Korean like I’m used to. So if you’re picky like me then I wouldn’t recommend. All in all a very good place to go tho.

The food was fine. I wish I was explained the menu, like the other tables. My waitress was not helpful, if not demeaning. She knew it was our first time and kept saying well you would have to upgrade for this and that. Instead she was on her phone a lot. I only wanted the Beef Bulgogi but ended up with the ALLYOUCANEAT1 – 4. I don’t eat pork or Tofu, so leaves me with not much. I just wish the service was better. I would not go back if I got the same waitress. She was horrible.

The food is great the location is alright just sucks that they don’t have parking, but then again it’s in Hollywood so you can’t expect much. HOWEVER; their customer service SUCKS! Horribleeeee customer service! They cleared our table and brought us the check without even asking if we wanted any more refills on any of our empty bowls or trays. WHACKASSPLACE!

Even though we weren’t Koreatown, this place was surprisingly good. It’s also a nice way to avoid the crazy traffic and congestion of K-town. The sign outside, is not very eye catching, so it took us a little bit to find. It’s on Hollywood Blvd, but not in the middle of all the action. We parked on the street for free — bonus! They offer different packages per person. Nice part is kids eat for free. Highlight for me was the Brisket which I dipped in ponzu to have with my steamed rice. Yum. I also liked the spicy salad — family style — for the entire table. The staff were friendly and helpful. Inside was clean and pretty empty. I guess it was a Sunday night. We kept thinking how packed the place would be if it was Hawaii. Solid choice for little ones that must eat rice.

This place is amazing! Fast service while maintains quality. Great options! The marination: seasonings are the best I’ve tasted in LA! Inside is very modern and clean, way better than other all you can eat KBBQ. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of some good Korean bbq! Spicy pork is to die for!!! We always end up with Carlo as our waiter and he’s very attentive! Best, Bi-weekly client

Worst kbbq experience ever, not even real kbbq. Honestly if you’re planning to come here for a real Korean barbecue experience, just go to ktown. My cousin and her boyfriend were visiting from the east coast and we were hiking so afterwards they really wanted to try kbbq, so we just Unilocaled somewhere & this place had the best reviews. Literally there were only 3 occupied tables, and the server kept telling us she was busy. She was just rude for no reason. We asked her if the salad was refillable and looked at us and nodded, obviously annoyed. We refilled it TWICE and when the bill came saw we were charged for an additional 2 salads. The food was okay, but for the price it wasn’t that great. If anything this place is just. hype? I don’t know. This place does however have good selection for vegetarians! That’s the only upside to everything. They have Japanese decorations too?!

As a vegetarian, I haven’t had many chances to try Korean food, so this was my first experience! The restaurant is cute but not overly formal. We were sat at a large booth with a grill in the middle of the table for cooking our food. I ordered the beefless beef, and my meat-eating partner tried the chicken. Both were excellent, as was the huge side salad and sides of kimchi and broccoli. It was so much food that I’m glad we did the à la carte option and not the all you can eat option. Especially combined with the peach soju, we left stuffed and satisfied!

A good friend invited me to join him at Ay-Do-No because he lives nearby in the Hollywood Hills. He now avoids Koreatown like the plague due to erratic driving conditions, traffic congestion, lack of available street parking, & hour long waits, if not longer, at Korean BBQ places especially during the weekends. If things were satisfactory at A-D-N, then he would use it as his Korean BBQ headquarters. The interior is Korean kitsch as imagined by someone who either does not have a very good grasp of Korean graphic aesthetics or does, but wants to create an over the top, exaggerated version to create an «exotic» environment of what Korean art should be to non-Koreans. In some ways, I would be far more appreciative of this«art» if it were drawn as Mexican paintings on velvet with its extreme vibrant colors under ultraviolet rays. Why not go all the way? The set up is the standard gas driven BBQ with hoods overhead. Not the biggest space, but we came at 5:45pm on a Friday so we were the first ones to dine. A person who is a Korean BBQ purist would find A-D-N to not be his/her bill of fare. The«panchan» here is somewhat of a verisimilitude of what is offered at the usual Korean-run restaurants. One can’t put one’s finger on why, but the flavors don’t quite ring true. They say it’s fusion, but it is so obscure what it is referencing to that what the heck? I can say the fusion is «American». There is potato salad, heavily mayonnaised coleslaw, vinegared broccoli & carrots, OK store bought Kimchi, rice paper that is oiled so it doesn’t stick together, wilted iceberg lettuce salad dressed with mostly soy sauce, sweetened vinegar, sesame oil. The AYCE prices are $ 12.99, $ 14.99, $ 17.99, 19.99, 24.99, 31.99. Each price restricts what kind of items that can be offered. For example, the $ 12.99 can access only 4 items with only 2 being either chicken or pork, and the other 2 being vegetable based. The $ 31.99 lets you access all items 1 – 15. We ordered the $ 31.99 since we both wanted the #14, soy sauce marinated shrimp & #15, the ribeye. #2) Sesame Chicken: marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, sprinkled white sesame seed. The chicken was marinated a long time so that the meat cooked up moist. Mild flavour, can be pepped up with a hot miso paste/fermented soy bean & chile sauce that comes in a squeeze bottle. #3) Veggies were mostly onions, mushrooms, zucchini slices again marinated in the ubiquitous soy sauce. #4) To-fu was allowed to drain so that it was firm & marinated in a rather extra sweet soy sauce that to us did not enhance the vegetable aspects. #5) Daejigogi/Pork Bulgogi seems marinated in a bit of red chile paste & the soy sauce. Not deep crimson red like at many Korean places which leads to a smoky, earthy, fermented Umami. Again, add the hot miso paste before BBQing to add more of the fermented Umami. #7) Bulgogi Beef is marinated in the sweet soy sauce, touch of sesame. Meat quality was lightly beefy, & the texture was soft, moist. #12) Pork Belly was medium thin sliced & unadorned. I later used the rice paper to wrap the lettuce salad & the porkbelly to pop into my mouth for a combination of meatiness & cool watery greens. #13) Bul Kalbi/short rib is marinated in a thicker version of the sweet soy, sesame oil. The meat is between the ribs so the texture is soft at the same time having a slight chaw. Light beefy flavour. #14) Marinated Shrimp was soaked in the lightly sweet soy sauce. Our first batch must have been left over from the ‘lunch hour’ since the shrimp meat was medium brown, the latter order was put together before the ‘dinner hour’ since they tasted fresher & less brown in color, & plumped better on the grill. #15) Rib Eye is sliced beef only with no marinade. Although this was listed in the premium section, this rib eye was dry, slightly tough w/little beefiness. Disappointing since this & the shrimp made the AYCE jump from $ 24.99 to $ 31.99. I have to admit that I am an aficionado of Korean BBQ using Koran hardwood charcoal that gives off an exquisite smoky aroma that permeates any meat cooked on it. It also goes all into one’s clothes so wear clothes that you would do gardening in. True charcoal BBQ is even rare in Koreatown, but my favorite is the old school Soot Bul Jip. Ay-Do-NO is not bad if you take it out of the context of Korean BBQ closer to the classic model. Service is good and for the most part friendly & efficient. No waiting at least early in the evening. The waiter later told us after being there about 2 hours, having finished our meal if we could leave in a while since a party of 50 people would arrive at 8pm. No Problem. A-D-N told us that there is parking in the adjacent Surperior Court parking lot at least close to 5:45pm when we got there. Call A-D-N to reconfirm parking availability. Not the best Korean BBQ, but good enough. 3 Unilocal stars.
