Avery Tickets

I bought tickets from them on e-​Bay. They took my payment then cancelled my order due the tickets being pre-​sold. When I called them they told me to go elsewhere and never to buy again.

I’m surprised to see such negative reviews for this company. Avery Tickets is by far the best ticket company in Los Angeles. Great customer service and they always have a great selection of tickets. I’d highly recommend Avery Tickets for any sporting events, concerts, etc. The company owner, Steve, is very professional, along with the entire staff. Responsible, honest, and reliable ticket company.

BUYER BEWARE. This business has a lot to learn about ethics and customer service. I purchased tickets to a game through ticket liquidators, sold by Avery Tickets. When we arrived at the game, we were almost denied entry because our tickets were coming up as having been «already scanned.» We kind of slipped in anyway (it was extremely crowded and I figured there had to have been a mistake since I had bought them myself). About 20 min after sitting down, we were approached by a woman who told us we were in her group’s seats. We both showed each other our tickets, and they were the exact same ones. After she went and spoke with an usher, our tickets were taken from us, and we were told to stay put. 5 min later, we were told we had to leave and give up our seats as it turned out our tickets had been sold to two other parties as well! They said all we could do was talk to our seller about a refund/​what went wrong.
I called Avery Tickets first thing the next morning, explained the situation, and was told someone would be sure to call me back later that day. I ended up having to call them just before they closed since I hadn’t been contacted, and was told someone would call me back the next day. They didnt. Now the third day, I called them back after STILL no word, was put on hold, and then told by a completely unapologetic sounding employee that his manager would only offer me store credit. I told him this wasn’t really acceptable, but he insisted that was all they would do for me.
I am in touch with Ticket Liquidators, who thus far have been exceptionally helpful. I wanted to warn anyone against purchasing from Avery Tickets. Providing a refund when tickets your company sells result in the purchaser being kicked out of the venue because the tickets were sold to multiple people is unquestionably something a ticket brokerage should GUARANTEE.
Ridiculous.

Avery Tickets has a store in the Hollywood and Highland Center and one Downtown. The Hollywood location is within walking distance from the Hollywood Bowl. All the tickets are sold at market value, which means sometimes the tickets are priced higher than face, and sometimes lower than face value. The price you paid is how much that ticket was worth when you purchase the tickets.
I don’t see how it be possible for the store to have a ticket pick up in a lingerie store when they have an actual store near the Hollywood Bowl.

Folks… CAREFUL CAREFUL. Anything attached with Avery Tickets is bad bad news. My wife and I were searching around sites trying to find some tickets to the Zac Brown Band concert and got some through a website affiliate of Avery Tickets. The pick up location was a hoax… it was actually a lingerie and adult store… terrible. The Avery tickets did feel bad but did nothing other than offer me tickets to the concert at a RIDICULOUSLY high price for not so good seats at the Hollywood Bowl. Thanks for reading… if you stop in and deal with some of the people at the store location maybe it would be different. Unfortunately, my experience was a very very untolerable and sad one.
