Let’s face it, who wouldn’t give the Staples Center a 5 star review??? Home to the LA Kangz’!!! Yes, I said Kangz — lol,(…sighs) I LOVVVVETHISPLACE! Larger than the Honda Center and a bit more affordable, depending on the venue, the Staples Center is nothing short of a Los Angeles staple, itself. Located on Fig– and Olympic within DTLA adjacent LA Live… or maybe this place is actually a part of it(I honestly have no clue) — it’s easy to visit this joint and envelop an absolute sense of LA Pride(not to be confused with West Hollywood«Pride»). This is the type of joint where people toss their wigs to the side, pop a cap on backwards and rock their jerseys — leaving all of the pretentiousness and bullsh! t at home upon the mantle!!! NOTHING to be seen and heard here but outbursts from overly-energetic sports enthusiasts and just as jovial parents and kids! The destination of choice for the late but great MJ, not to mention Queen Bey(Beyonce’), Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, Madonna — and that list just goes on and on… I believe ya’ catch my drift. Yes — parking prices are absurd, but that’s why there’s Über. And yes,…the food prices evoke an absolute WTF — but… that’s why you bring friends with large purses! The bartenders both upstairs as well as down have seemingly all perfected their crafts and the vantage points are pretty incredible from every direction. Like most, I’ve been to more hockey games at this joint than b-ball or music concerts, and I haven’t one complaint. The fact that the arena is not only shared by the Lakers, but the Clippers too, just adds to the flare! Who’s home is itt??? Let’s ball it out b! tch — hahaha! I’m left to end my review in Cinquain. _______________________________________ — Hellz’ yea! 12 — I lovvve this place! 1234 — Yezzirrr. Parking sucks balls! 123456 — The booze inside makes up for it! 12345678 — GOKINGSSS! 12

Constant Professionalism and helpful staff guiding spectators where to go. Although, I feel there has to be an efficient way to get to point A to point B. There needs to be more of these helpful staff at each entrance, not just at a few doors as I witnessed this past Lakers game. A lot of options for food to either munch on or to get a quality meal. The price is very alarming. Overall, Staples Center is a staple for all of us.

Nothing makes me happier than going to a Kings game at Staples Center. It’s really one of the only things that makes me happy. And this arena is amazing; it’s so modern and new. it’s crazy, I think the Honda Center is only six years older, yet it looks like Staples Center’s ugly and unsophisticated step sibling. One thing I love about this arena is that each seat is padded! You don’t get that kind of luxury at Dodger Stadium, so definitely appreciate the comfort. I’m also pretty fortunate that I’ve had the opportunity to sit at the glass at a Kings game, all the way up in the last row of the 300 section, and everything in between. There’s literally not a bad seat in the entire arena. One of the best aspects of sitting in the rafters, is being able to watch plays develop much better than you can see on the ice. My favorite section to sit in is the VIP section as it seems to encompass the best of being up close and being up in the rafters. I’ve also been here for a Muse concert and was on the floor. This arena makes for an awesome concert venue. Staples Center has pretty decent dining options and I’ve always received great service, with one exception. While on the VIP level I went to a bar to order a Moscow Mule. I had one at the same bar, the previous week. When the bartender told me he didn’t have ginger beer, I politely began to ask if he was sure because I had enjoyed one there, seven days prior. He very rudely shut me down. I’m angry at myself because I should’ve asked his name and reported him. I felt pretty raw about it. People don’t spend extra money to be on that level, to be spoken down to by the staff. So instead of receiving the perfect review it most likely would have had received from me, I’m going with a four-star rating. C’mon Staples, you cannot consider yourself to be the«Sports and Entertainment Capital» and not serve the trendiest of drinks, at the moment, at your VIP bars and then be rude about not serving them.

I have been here on many occasions for sporting events and concerts. The place is simply spectacular. This is where the Lakers and the Kings play, folks! Anyway, I have never actually parked in their parking lot though I know it exists. I always park in the other parking lots including the large structure by the Nokia Center as well as the smaller private lots. Costs will run you between $ 15.00 to $ 30.00, which is not bad. My favorite thing about Staple Center is that there are freeways all around the stadium so it is pretty easy to get on the freeway on your way home. I hate the Rose Bowl for this exact reason. It takes you 30+ minutes just to get to the freeway after a game. I have also watched numerous games from the suite. If you have never tried, please do. It is a pretty cool experience. The dessert cart is awesome!

Mötley Crüe final concert 12÷31÷15!!! It rocked! This concert was so off the chain… I’ve only been to staple center for basketball games and sat near the floor however for this concert I was lucky to watch while in a suite. Staples center does this well IMO. 3 fridges were Well stocked with wine, beer, water, various hot plates on the counters, plenty of seating and close to the restrooms. Calling for refills or help was quick but let me not forget the dessert cart! DEATHBYDESSERT is all I can say. Portions were generous and choices were difficult since everything looked delicious. I will say the only negative is the bar drinks. I ordered a Cadillac margarita and it was $ 15!!! Seriously!!! I figure if I’m in a suite then perhaps ½ off the first drink using top shelf and free well drinks. Aside from that issue the suite and concert were too notch. Mötley Crüe is a motley crew. Those dudes have been together for 30 years and you can see their passion for their music just the same. The roller coaster with the drummer moving along was simply AWESOME. There just is no other word. The pyrotechnics were something to behold as well. This concert was a feast for the ears and eyes. I’m just glad I was able to experience a great groups last concert in style. What a way to end the years fun start the new one!

Daughter took me here to watch a Laker game as a Christmas present. It’s a great venue for it as well as concerts. Parking around the center is plentiful and reasonably priced($ 15). It’s easy to get it and navigate your way to your seat. Too bad my team is about 5 years away from getting back into contention!

Pretty good experience on Jan 10, 2016 when the Lakers played against the Jazz. It was a free throwback #8 Kobe jersey giveaway night so that was a plus. Unfortunately about 2 hours prior to the game, Kobe had to sit out due to his sore right Achilles. It was a bummer that the Lakers lost and I expected to see the Black Mamba play but I’ll definitely be back again before this season ends. Gotta see KB24 one last time.

I came here for a lakers game on 01÷10÷16 and we got the premier seatings. What was awesome was like we had a server in our section whenever we needed something. Or if you walk right outside the bar or snack area would be right there just for the VIP area. Although it was disappointing that Kobe did not play when we went but it was still fun. The venue is very well organized and we didn’t have any problems with anything or anyone. We were also given free Kobe jerseys for a giveaway day so that was nice. I’ll most likely be back before this season is over to watch the black mamba to play one last time!

Was invited toan LA Kings hockey game and had a great time. I watched the game from a VIP suite and I cannot comment on the rest of the venue, but everything was clean and maintained. Food was excellent! I rocked a hot dog and half of some kind of chicken and bacon sandwich. There was a table of other offerings followed by a huge dessert cart. Huge. I had a free parking pass, but couldn’t find the proper lot and just parked at the first Staples-official lot I could find. Fortunately, they took my pass too. One thing I really appreciated was the traffic staff… I don’t know the proper job title, but the people standing in the crosswalks in and around the stadium. They were greeting people. On the way out, two separate traffic staff both took time to say«have a good night.» Excellent leadership and training on that, Staples Center.

I’ve been here a couple of times to watch Lakers and Clippers games, and although I’m not a sports person, live sporting events are always fun. Tickets aren’t cheap, parking costs a grip, and traffic is a nightmare… but hey, it’s totally worth it to watch a live game once in a while. There’s nothing like cheering for your team along with the crowd. And the Laker Girls are hot! ;) It’s especially nice when I get the hookup through work(or a friend’s work) for one of the box suites. The hot dogs and snacks that are served there are only so-so… but the dessert cart that comes around is friggin’ awesome! I stuffed myself like a piggy on Sunday night’s Lakers vs. Utah Jazz game, to the point I was too full to sleep and was awake all night trying to digest my overindulgence, haha. :P It’s been several years since I’ve sat in a box, so I thought it was going to be a bit boring and removed from all the action. But I was totally wrong. The box I was in was right in the middle with no wall in front of us, which was surprising. I thought there would be a Plexiglas wall in front of us or something. We also got free Kobe Bryant #8 jerseys as we walked into Staples Center, so that was awesome, too! :)

We had chance to see Clippers at Staples Center San Manuel premium lounge. We had a great time. First of all, there is special entrance for premium lounge guests. So we don’t have to wait in long line. The lounge includes all-you-can eat buffet dinner and drinks. There is good selection of beers, wine, and other drinks you can enjoy. There is special table reserved for us for dinner. After dinner, there is comfortable chairs to watch the game. If you are a smoker, there is balcony is available next to the diner. Food and the drinks are available until 3 quarter. Also there is cell phone charger next to your seating. We had such a great time, we decided to VLOG about the experience. Check it out!

Whether you’re a tourist or a local like myself, the Staples Center is a must visit when in LA. It’s located in the heart of downtown with featured attractions such as Laker/Clipper basketball games, hockey games, Cirque De Soleil shows, concerts, etc. Parking is always expensive when you’re in a populated area but it is plentiful, just remember to take cash :) If you’re a Laker fan, make sure you visit soon since it’s Kobe’s last year playing. I recently went to watch a game in a box suite and it was organized very well and our personal bartender was siiickk! The box suite option is great for a large group of friends. Also, Costco is having a great deal on Clipper season tickets at a reasonable price so check it out!

The Staples Center is home to the Clippers, Lakers, Kings, and many a large concert. I’ve seen Prince perform there! Seats are plentiful, so you can get cheap nosebleed section seats, or thousand dollars tickets on the floor. It’s particularly enjoyable if you have friends with corporate box seats! Set on the busy cross streets of downtown Los Angeles, it’s also nearby some great restaurants, multiple bus lines, and has tons and tons of parking. It’s always festive on this corner, as there are events every night of the week!

The Staples Center will always be one of my favorite venues to catch an event. Over the years I’ve attended Lakers, Clippers, and Kings games, as well as WWE events. All unique experiences, but nothing will beat the aura of a Laker game! It won’t be the same after Kobe retires, but I still plan to attend more games in the future. I’ve sat in the lower level, upper level, and in a suite. You will have a decent view no matter where you sit. Arrive early to avoid lines, food is your typical overpriced arena food, and parking is usually around $ 20 – 25 in surrounding lots/garages.

Where my LA Fans at? No, not you Clipper fans, you can sit back down. ACCESSIBILITY Staples is a beautiful arena and perfect for all sporting events. With multiple entrances, getting inside is a breeze(the right side is the best). Parking is also simple as there are many lots you can pay $ 10 for that are about a 5 minute walk. If you don’t want to park far, you can pay around $ 25 to park in the adjacent parking structure FOOD What sets Staples apart from venues like Honda Center is their concessions. Food is priced as you would expect from any venue but with different options like your traditional hot dog, nachos, pretzels, to tastier options that include deluxe nachos, CPK pizza, sandwiches, bratwurst dogs, and McDonald’s to name a few. If you get a chance to sit in the Premier or Suite Level, you’ll be treated to a more premium menu with the likes of chicken tenders, nacho grande, chili cheese dogs, Veggie Burgers, Sushi, parmesan fries, and prime rib sandwiches. You can also order a Mac & Cheese Dog, Frito Pie Dog, and Chicago Style Hot Dogs at the Goose Island Booth on the first level. Beer selection is also great with Goose Island IPA, Ballast Point, Bootleggers, Firestone, and Hoegaarden. The Premier/Suite Level also has two full bars set up as well. Don’t want to spend too much on food at the game? Not a problem, there are various restaurants right outside like Tom’s Urban, Smash Burger, Lawry’s, and Wolfgang Puck. FANS All that I’ve mentioned before would be naught if it is wan’t for the amazing teams and the fans that are present under the dome. A Kings game will have your hairs standing on end and your throat sore from screaming over the horn with the sold out crowd after a well earned goal. There is no bad view when watching a Kings game and I actually prefer sitting a bit higher to get a better view of all the action. The Lakers will still draw out rowdy loyal fans that didn’t jump ship to a team that unfortunately shares the same building. You know, that team that has yet to put up any real banners besides the ones that cover up the Lakers’ Championship Banners out of spite. Hell, even Taylor Swift has a legit banner before the Clippers. Granted, these past seasons have been pretty depressing for Lakers fans and«LOB» City fans can get pretty loud when DeAndre isn’t at the free throw line or when they blow double digit leads. In conclusion, you’ll enjoy your experience at Staples with its easy accessibility and various food and beverage selections. The LA teams are great and the fans are even better. When compared to a venue like Honda, it almost seems wrong to mention the two in the same sentence. On a side note, can we send the Clippers to Honda Center? It makes more sense to have both hockey and basketball teams who choke in the playoffs play under one roof. Just saying.

The freaking Staples Center. It was a rush of emotion that came over me when I got inside. It is the feeling I initially got when I landed in LA. LIKE… OMG I’M INSIDETHETV!!! The Clippers game is much better too watch in real life than the TV. And I’m not sure if it was all the Cadillac margaritas but I can actually be a basketball fan if I watch it live. I had excellent seats but I don’t think any seat is bad. I sat next to this lady whose had season tickets for 23 years! She was funny. Career fan. LA live is a made out of the stuff that kids dream about — this place is a must see for traveling families. Absolute must see!

The Staples Center may be one the premier sports and entertainment complexes in the United States. This large and attractive stadium is located in Downtown Los Angeles and is convenient to both freeways and public transportation. It is also located next to the LA Live complex for pre and post game activities. Staples is home to three professional sports teams — Los Angeles Kings, Clippers, and Lakers. All three teams have similar seasons requiring the center to convert between basketball and hockey within 24 hours. Even the team stores have rotating displays to quickly change teams. They are also host to many concerts and other events, so the staff must be busy 24⁄7 keeping the place running. The interior is clean and modern with a nice feel. There are many concession stands with standard fare. I was a little disappointed in the beer selection, but they do have McDonalds with relatively cheap food for a stadium. This is a great place to watch a game with good sight lines and a festive fan experience.

It’s a love/hate relationship with this venue, but if you’re looking for celebrity sightings, this is your place! I was just here for the Clippers vs. Rockets game and Drake was there and they put the camera on him and started playing Hotline Bling and my sisters and I were done! He started dancing to it a little and that made my night! Also, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Hart were there, but for any sporting event on a Saturday night it’s a celebrity hot spot. Staples is a hassle to get in and out of, expensive, crowded and huge so it’s hard to see if you’re in the top of the stands. The other side of this is that Staples is the center of all things L.A. You can only see major recording stars, hockey, basketball, at this venue. I’m fortunate enough to get box seats(thanks bro-in-law) whenever I go here and I can tell you the box seats are amazing and the concierge or waiter service is always great. Of course the food is pricey and the lines are long for beer so I suggest eating before hand at any of the local spots outside of L.A. Live or waiting until the event is over to get something great and filling. There’s a Wetzels Pretzels somewhere inside and a bag of those pretzel bits can hold you over.

I love the Staples Center! Every event that I’ve been to here has been a great experience. I’ve come to sports to music events and the staff here has always been really friendly. Thanks to the Expo, this venue is easy to get to. It’s right off the line at the Pico Station stop. If you don’t mind paying $ 20 for parking, there’s plenty of lots within the area. The $ 10 — $ 15 lots are a few blocks away. This is also a fun spot to host a client event! We treated a team to box seats at the Jay-Z concert. The staff was very accommodating supplying food and alcohol throughout the night. We fit about 20 – 25 people throughout the night. Can’t wait to come back!
