Arda’s Cafe

Didn’t step in the restaurant but ordered from here on the Eat24 app.
Got the Chicken shawarma plate which came in a clear container, came with shredded rotisserie chicken, roasted potatoes, white rice and Greek salad. All tasted good, chicken was not dry, rice was tasty, the potatoes were a bit hard, not soft.
Delivery was fast, from ordering to having my food at my hand took about 35 minutes.
Would definitely order from here again.

Used to love this place for breakfast and lunch. But they are the worse. Last time I bought soup and it wAs way overly seasoned; extremely salty. So I stayed away for a few months. Decided to give it another try and attempted to purchase coffee and toasted bagel this morning. After waiting 15 minutes and still no toasted bagel, I demanded my money back. Ridiculous that an order for toasted bagel should take more than 15 minutes. Looked like they were too busy filling a huge catering order and that took priority over all the waiting customers in the store this morning. Not a smart way to run a business. Fill the quick orders first and get the customers moving along. Never going back there again. They lost my business!

Vegan falafel plate with cheese, overpriced and stingy with portions, hummus from a test cup that tastes like it started going bad, big fast food corporation environment, what else can one want…

Best gyro sandwiches in Downtown LA

I got a pastrami and mine had a lot less meat than they have on the photos. I had to wait a while even though there was only one other party. I detected an ARDAS wifi signal so I asked for the password and they said, «We don’t have wifi.» I decided to go to the restroom and the sign says «Restroom Not Available.»

Good place for breakfast and lunch and the cranberry tuna melt is my favorite the service is good and the prices are fair

This place is fucking good! Sorry this is the only way I can express this place… I love coming here everything on the menu is awesome …

If it’s your first time trying Greek food then this is the place to be. Beautiful café. My meal took a minute to come but it was well worth the wait.

I have been here 3 times, to give them at least the benefits of the doubt. Unfortunately this time was the worst. I ordered the gyros plate and what I got was very thin strips of burnt dried pieces of meat. It was by far not worth the $ 12.00 ($ 11.98) that they charged me. Also I was so disappointed that I did not ask for the yogurt sauce that is supposed to come with it. The place is clean, but the food portion and quality definitely is disappointing.

Go-​To Healthy meal = Chicken souvlaki!

Great food and prices. Always good. Clean location and quick silvery. Food always tastes fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. A must try.

Arda’s is a local coffee shop/​breakfast place/​lunch spot in DTLA. It is not a chain — just this one location. They have a large selection of items with some Middle Eastern twists. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, plenty of egg sandwiches and burritos for breakfast, bagels, pastries, etc… Their lunch items consist of salads and sandwiches and soups with some daily specials.
The food is always decent. Nothing super special, but tastes good and seems relatively fresh. The fresh squeezed OJ is very good and so is their chicken soup, especially when you have a cold. They have a large seating area and offer free wifi. There are no public restrooms — even for customers.
Overall, it is a good alternative to Starbucks or Coffee Bean when you are in the area and need a quick, cheap bite to eat.

I make sure to stop by this little Café anytime I’m in DTLA.
The service there is excellent. They have fast service, top quality food, the prices are reasonable, and they’re extremely friendly. The coffee is delicious, but the food… MY GOD it’s out of this world. Go ahead and try the Chicken Souvlaki or the Grilled Salmon. For the vegetarians, check out the Veggie burger!

So I order from here all the time. I constantly have a problem with an order. The wrong item, it’s not what I ordered, stuff missing from order, no change, and they are very unapologetic.
So we ordered a catering order Friday no Taziki sauce, no Cesar dressing, the deliver man had to come back three times and still no dressing.
Today I found a hair in my food and what did Adam at the owner said. That because WE have these problems they won’t take our orders anymore.
Yeah it’s our fault ur making the food and it’s incorrect.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE … Not really

Waited 45 minutes for my food and instead received a phone call that they were closed.

SALMON & ARTICHOKE SALAD was really good – lots of delicious smoked salmon! And the heart of palms in the salad were a great addition, it’s soft and complemented the texture well. It was actually my first time having hearts of palm and now I have to have it again! Will come back to Arda’s just for this. :)
The raw smoked salmon, artichoke, and heart of palms weren’t really common ingredients, but they worked perfectly well and was delicious. Great value for an awesome salad ($ 9) especially for lunch in the DTLA area.

Bagel with cream cheese review.
THE AMBIANCE:
Spacious coffee shop with a long walk way to the counter. They have stool seating along the wall and also table seating. I believe the owner (Arda?) helped me with my purchase; intuition. She was amicable.
THE BAGEL & CREAM CHEESE:
Adra’s has a flyer printed out and in a plastic stand at the counter that displays what kinds of bagels they have. I remember seeing jalapeño cheese, onion, plain, everything, and my choice, cinnamon raisin. They do not have cranberry. I am a big cream cheese fan — like, I can take a bite out of a cream cheese stick and smile with joy — and I asked for cream cheese on the side and contemplated buying an extra one. The woman, however, noted that I would get more cream cheese if I asked for it to be spread on the toasted bagel. I don’t like asking for the cream cheese inside the toasted bagel because it tends to melt and I highly dislike that :(She told me, however, that it wouldn’t melt so I gave it a shot.
I was very pleased with my bagel. It was warm throughout and had that semi-​spongy texture where you can press down on the bagel and it compresses easily but is still crispy. The amount of cream cheese was good enough for me. I usually mount it but I was content with the amount that I was given. I also liked that they cut the bagel in half.
THE TIPS:
Try a bagel! Stamp of approval.

The food is fresh and not greasy (a welcome change from most diners), and it’s really, really reasonably priced. It’s diner pricing, but «real» restaurant quality.
My go-​to breakfast is their bagel lox sandwich, which comes with a generous helping of lox, for only $ 6!
Fresh-​squeezed orange juice — REALLY fresh squeezed, not from a bottle — it’s only $ 3.50!
For both of these items, I’ve paid double that many times!
Lunch is yummy too, a great selection of sammies.
They delivery for free in the neighborhood in about 30 minutes, but I usually get car service — I call them when I’m in front and they bring my breakfast to my car!
