Love love love this place. Great lamb and chicken! Prices keep going up but I’m still ordering weekly.

I ordered a chicken shawarma plate to go and after my first bite, I was like I have had much better chicken shawarma at other Mediterranean places in LA. This place and their food does not live up the reviews on Unilocal. The hummus was super dry and the rice was uncooked and I think they can improve a lot on the service. Overall a very poor experience.

Good falafel platter and decent sized portions. Large pieces of chicken for those who ordered it. Friendly service; some parking is available if you’re lucky.

This was my brother’s favorite pace when he lived with my in Hollywood. I liked it too. It is very much like Zanku Chicken but pretty much only for take out. There are tables — but take out puts this to best use. It is also a little less expensive than Zanku. Sometimes the chicken can be dry. But for the most part this is a consistently decent and wallet friendly meal.

Pretty lame food if you ask me and very small portions. Might pass as good food for someone whose drunk or hung over but not for a sober person.

Excellent service and the chicken kabob was very tasty! Sure beats the terrible disposition of the Zankou off Normandie that I’ve been going since college! The Weho Zankou is a different story, those folks are friendly and throw in an extra garlic sauce for free if you ask! Wazir I will be back! I can even walk there from my place!

I got kafta kabob plate. The meant is not well seasoned, the hummus come without anytime of olive oil and is definitely the worst that I have ever eaten for the garlic salsa the put almost nothing on the container you can even test. The food is pretty plain

Al Wazir is the best! Go for chicken shawarma! Baklava is extremely good, too!

Dude, all of you who love Zankou chicken, ya’ll need to head over to Al Wazir. This place tastes way better than ZC! I ordered the Chicken Shawerma Plate #2: (Sliced marinated chicken. Served with hummus, salad, rice, garlic, and 2 pita bread) The chicken is actually shredded, not sliced, but the flavor is amazing! I love the garlic sauce that it comes with. Can you give me a tub of garlic sauce next time? The portion of rice was bit small, and you know me, gotta have my rice. Salad and hummus were good as well. Pita bread was okay, would have tasted better if it were warm. For $ 11 after tax and tip, not a bad lunch deal! Portions are huge, so it’s really 2 meals in 1! Enjoy. — — — — So, I went back for dinner and the portions are way smaller and the chicken is dry! Hmm. not sure what happened, but it didn’t live up to the lunch experience.

I usually order from this place, because the food is so delicious! But, today I brought my family, and it’s such a chill place to eat. I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite places in Hollywood. I would recommend the combination plate, so you can try most of their meats! Thanks guys for such a good service!

Food is GOOOOOOOOOOD! Delivery was super fast — my driver was polite and chill. Also, I got my delivery minimum order down; $ 20 flat including $ 4 tip! Ha ha! I love Al Wazir!

The sharwma is the one I go for every time. Huge portions and tasty is what I like. The chicken version is just as good. Delivery was quick like thirty minutes. Never find a fault with these guys.

Very tasty and extremely reasonably priced Middle Eastern food. We ordered the chicken schwarma platter, falafel sandwich, and 2 cans of Diet Coke, which came to under $ 18. The falafel was very tasty(and I’m picky after having lived in the Middle East for a year), and the pita/bread was great — very light and fresh. Their seating area is very casual — just 5 – 6 tables that seat up to 4 people each, and it’s a bit warm inside, but a very pleasant, fast meal.

Four stars for good chicken shawerma served over tasty rice with good hummus, excellent garlic sauce, salad with pickles, and two pita. Prices are reasonable and there’s an A health rating in the window. Parking lot is tiny but turnover seems to be pretty high so you should be okay. Cute mural on the wall with some of the Hollywood landmarks. This would be a great place to grab a bite(as we did) before a show!

We always order from these guys! My boyfriend has been ordering from them for years and literally wants to stay in Hollywood just to be within their delivery range! Haha! I am into low carbs so I order the half chicken al a carte. My boyfriend gets the #2 chicken shwerma plate. The costs is very affordable, probably why we order it so much! The delivery is always quick and accurate and the lady that takes the orders is the sweetest!

I’ve been eating here on a few occasions since my first visit and decided to bump them up a star. The staff is always friendly and will accommodate special requests like double salad, no rice without charging you more money unlike a nearby competitor(ahem, Ro-Ro Chicken, ahem). The half chicken is HUGE!!! I wish they had a ¼ chicken plate option but they don’t. The chicken is delicious though, very juicy and did I say, HUGE?! This is my to-go spot for quick Mediterranean when I’m in the area. Come by, you won’t be disappointed.

(3.5 stars) FINALLY made it over to Al Wazir and it was certainly worth the wait! I was prepared to be greeted by a «whole in the wall» like venue, but those are typically THEBEST! I ordered my favorite, but of course, the chicken shawarma and holy hot damn, I jumped on the table and did a sexy Lebanese dance after my first bite… Okay maybe I didn’t but my taste buds were certainly dancing with happiness. I do know however that my moans and groans for how good this chicken is were heard by everyone else dining in the small establishment. You would think I would rate this place 5 stars then huh? Well, my friend ordered the chicken kabob… And this is where Al Wazir lost a few points. When I asked my friend what she thought, she said, «meh, it’s good but not PHENOMENAL». She gave it a 2.5÷3 out of 5. I took a tiny sampling and I have to agree. While juicy, thanks to it being made of chicken thigh meat(not my favorite for a kabob), it sort of lacked flavor… Perhaps the shawarma seasonings need to be RUBBED all over the kabob too(may I do the honors?). That being said, the hummus and garlic sauce were dynamite, it took every fiber of my being to not jump over the counter and stick my head in the hummus bin! Aw man, now I am hungry for shawarma again dammit! Ha! What else is new?!
