Most customer oriented businesses will refund your purchase price on returns. Not Cambric. My wife bought an outfit, brought it home, then decided she wanted to return it, unworn, a few days later. Cambric would only issue store credit for the return. Even though there are signs to this effect in the store, it is a most unfriendly attitude to customers. We will shop there again only to use up the credit and then never again!

Excellent customer Service Experience: Cambric is a really nice mid-​level women’s boutique in Los Altos. It’s a little hard to find, but it’s actually a «find.» It’s a small, charming place, with contemporary clothing and accessories. The inventory of shirts, dresses, pants, outfits, jackets, scarves, jewelry (enumerating because the other review just says «tshirts», this place is real women’s clothing, reasonably priced) changes often, I particularly like their reasonably priced and attractive jewelry. I’m not good on brands, but they have carried Brighton and Eileen Fisher — that’s kind of the level of things they carry — classy, but stylish, not cheap, but not exorbitant. It’s not one of the Los Altos boutiques that cater to size 0’s who have bottomless credit cards — it’s a place to find nice, everyday, or sometimes special clothing and jewelry. I’ve been coming by for years, and finally am motivated to write because I had such a fantastic customer service experience with them.
I bought a jacket last fall and didn’t wear it a lot because it was so warm. But when we had a cold snap, I started wearing it and within a couple weeks, one of the teeth fell off the zipper. Simone tried to get the zipper repaired, replaced, and finally even tried to get the supplier to replace the jacket, all in the middle of their busy holiday season, but she had no luck. The supplier only guarantees items for TEN DAYS after the store buys it! After a lot of effort, Simone just gave me store credit, even though I’d brought it back several months after buying it. She knew I hadn’t worn it hardly at all and that basically it was defective. And, even though her supplier didn’t back their merchandise, she did. That is absolutely outstanding customer service and I want people to know about it.

Great little shop for pretty t-​shirts. Nice selection of ‘Cubism’ and other USA made tops. Owner very sweet and friendly. I’ll make sure to drop in when I’m in the area.
