Nice, clean, small (not overwhelming but very well-​stocked), and amazing, helpful, & kind staff. Why only one?! Wish they’d clone it!

I ordered a nude colored leotard online and long story short I wasn’t going to receive it on time. So I called this store and spoke to Shelly on the phone. She checked her inventory and said unfortunately they didn’t have one. So I continued my search. Within 5 minutes I get a call from Shelly asking if I had just called asking for a leotard. I was shocked she was calling me back because I had not left my number. I believe Shelly and Kelly rechecked there inventory and found exactly what I needed! They held it for me until I could get there after work. THANK YOU ladies for taking the time to help this busy mom and going the extra mile. Amazing customer service Diva Dancewear!

Diva Dancewear is a super cute shop for dancers of all ages! Krystal carries everything from tights, shoes, dance wear, and accessories. Your one stop shop for all dance wear needs! She is very sweet and offers a 10% discount on purchases to all dancers who belong to a studio. I love this little shop so next time you are in need or want make sure to stop in and pick yourself up a few items!!!

My daughter and i were really stress out, looking for some jazz dancing shoes! I had called the day before to confirm what time does the store close and they said 7! Well apparently they lied to us! Got there at 6:40 and no response, she clearly saw us standing out the door and ignore us! I drove from huntington park to get really bad service and to get a door shut in my face! She was really rude and i really dont recommend this store at all! My daughter say that she is the rudes person she had ever met!!!

I was really hoping I would end up leaving a good review as I hate to leave bad ones especially in my hometown however my experience at diva dance wear was not a good one. I went in today hoping to exchange my daughters ballet shoes since they were a little too tight. As I walked in there was a older woman with orange hair busy helping other customers. She seemed a little stressed so rather than wait or bother her I took it upon myself to check for the size/​style I needed only to be yelled at and humiliated by the lady telling me «NO! Your I can tell you your in the wrong section already please go stand over there and I’ll be with you in a minute!» She was so rude and cold literally everyone’s eyes in the store got big as if they couldn’t believe it either. Finally about 10 minutes later she gets to me and am told that they don’t have the size that I needed. I explained that this was my 2^nd time in the store in hopes that they would have my size. I asked her if she knew when they would get new shipment in and she just said she didn’t know she needs to ask the owner. Well it would have been nice if she could have checked while I was there or take down my number to let me know. The store itself is pretty organized but limited on dance attire and were out of the size I needed for my daughter. Anyway I will not be back as I do not like being treated like a child and disrespected.

Diva Dancewear has a very limited selection, but it is great if you are in a bind. My daughter grew out of her ballet leotard and skirt in what seemed like overnight, so I needed to get what she needed for class the next night! The staff is nice, but really can’t make sizes magically appear, so if they don’t have it, you either have to wait until they order it or get a different style. I prefer Discount Dance Supply because they have a much larger selection and are cheaper, but Diva Dancewear did the trick this time. I did pay more than I would have liked, but it did the job.

I love coming here! They are always nice and helpful. If they don’t have what you need, they will order it for you and call you when they receive it.
If you are a dance mom, and you show up the day before you need something and they don’t have that particular item… That’s YOUR bad. Just saying…
Yes, you may be able to find something for a cheaper price somewhere else… For example, Discount Dance or the internet. But, it is important to support our local small businesses!
If you’re looking for nice, helpful people to help you find what you are looking for this place is it. They also have a stamp card for tights purchases. When you fill it up, you get a pair of tights for free.

As a dad who doesn’t know any better, when my daughter said she needed dance shorts, I figured it’d be east. Well, 3 searches and 4 phone calls later: they were less than a mile from home. Called here, they said yes; came here, were immediately greeted by a friendly gal who pointed out where to find what we needed and suggested sizes as well. Thanks for making it easy on an old man.

I visited this local store today to find 2 very basic items that are needed by a local dance studio. Both items were «sold out.» While I was there, another parent from the same studio came in and was told the same thing. The staff member (owner?) spoke about knowing the studio owner, so it’s unfortunate that better business savvy and foresight wasn’t used to plan ahead to be stocked. I’ll be spending my money at Discount Dancewear in Fullerton now, even though I would have rather bought the items from my local shop. However, I won’t be checking back. I need a reliable store that has basic items, like a brand of pink tights, in stock.
2 stars only because both staff members were courteous and tried to be helpful.
