Great service & oysters! This place is clean, no fishy smell when you walk in and it is open till 11pm!!! There is a couple bars, an oyster bar, plenty of tables and comfy booths for seating. An excellent place to come with your hun or with a giant party. The service was friendly and the food was quick as hell. They make their own hot sauces which are pretty yum. The calamari and peel and eat shrimp were delicious. The oysters were awesome too! They were small to medium sized, salty Florida oysters and that bucket seemed to be bottomless… prob had atleast 2.5 dozen. They split the bucket and lightly steamed half just right. That was prob the only time I’ve ever walked away with oysters still on the counter. I know… it’s a crime but I just couldn’t stuff even one more in my belly. All in all this place doesn’t disappoint. Good selection on the menu, great staff, great place.

I must eat here twice a week. I love the food here, the mussels are yummy, the oysters are always perfect, never a shell on my cracker, and of course any drink you feel like having, they have. Steve is always my oyster bar guy, he is friendly and is great service wise. Never misses a beat. I celebrated my birthday last week there and we had a great time. Even fun for the kids with the random games they have. A++++

This place has awesome crab cakes. Don’t let the size fool you. This is as close to no filler as you can get. I don’t know how they even stick together. The steak fries were really good, as were the hush puppies. The cole slaw was a little bland, but I’ll gladly sacrifice that in favor of those crab cakes. My wife had the catfish which had good flavor, but a slight undercooked texture. But who cares? Give me more of those crab cakes!

Second visit, first for dinner. Very good variety of food. Laid back atmosphere where the locals go! I had the soft shell crab and catfish, all expertly cooked. We will be back for sure! Wonderful service. Highly recommend.

Oysters. Seafood. Burgers. Waitresses that call you ‘dear’ or ‘hun’ and expect you to have some patience if they’re a little bit slow cause, can’t you see how busy they are? It’s a very family feel kinda place. Nothing fancy, but they do have good seafood and it’s pretty cheap for the quality. Good for groups because they have a big dining room. You can also just belly-up to the oyster bar and order up some oyster shooters or a few dozen raw. It’s not much to look at outside or on the inside for that matter, but that’s not really what’s important if you’re going here, so I can’t fault them for that. It’s not young or hip or a date place. They’re doing what they do well, fresh seafood. And I’m giving them 4 stars for that.

Food was delicious… After we finally got it. Our entire party of 7 was finished eating before we got our oysters– not an ounce of remorse. Service was awful. Oysters and hush puppies were delicious… Homemade hush puppies– can’t beat them.

OMG. What excellent food. Was looking for a good place for seafood. My cousin recommended a place near the shore. Now, being at Downtown Disney all day we really werent in the mood to sit in the car to head to the shore to eat, but for good food thats what you do. Ok. On the way back to his house in Longwood, he called his friend and Victorio’s was recommended due to not truly wanting to drive to the shore. Thank Goodness. This place was awesome. The décor was very different. Very unique, awesome. Huge fish tank with a whole bunch of different types of fish.(I should have taken pictures) I ordered the Fish Fry. It was all you can eat. Man. After one plate the lady asked if she could put another order in for me, i said«o hell no.» There was no more room for another plate. It was perfect. Freshly made. I loved it!!! Thank you. I will be back on my next visit.

The food was good. The service was horrible. The place wasn’t crowded, but we couldn’t get our waitress to keep our drinks full to save our life. Also, they need to find a recipe for hushpuppies!

I’ve eaten here plenty of times with my boyfriend and I am happy to say I’ve never had a bad experience. The oysters are always extremely delicious. Also no matter the time of year they always seem to have decent sized oysters. The staff is great and very friendly and I just love the atmosphere and will continue to go as often as I can!

Just what i have been looking for. Always growing up near the water has given me the urge to eat oysters and different types of seafood. Moving to Orlando in a landlocked area i was worried i wouldn’t find the oyster bar that just gave off this certain nostalgia to it like it would to some oyster bars on the coast. Stepping inside was just like going back through time to when our family outings were to a seafood house. i found this place via you Unilocalers and i thank u for it. John was the man of the hour shucking our fresh bucket of oysters faster than we could eat em. The oysters themselves were very fresh(70 bushels were delivered as we ate them) and very sweet to the taste. A bucket will set you back about 28 bucks. They ran a special. order one bucket get the next for 5 bucks off. we could only handle the one. We also ordered the seafood steamer. it included snow crab, mussels, shrimp, potatoes, corn, hush puppies with a joke and a smile from John. As we were digging into the dish we could see a young lady making up some cheesecake seems as though everything they make is by hand here. No prefrozen garbage. This place isnt the prettiest now, but i never found myself wanting to eat at a nice oysterhouse anyways. this fit the bill perfectly.

This place never disappoint us everytime we are here. This place is always packed. Came here tonight a Friday night. They have acoustic playing out on thier patio, but no table available. We end up sitting in the bar which is find with us. We get to watchd the guys shucked the oyters in front of us. We had John behind the bar, and he was very good. They had the oyters from Maryland, they were the best, so fresh and huge! We also ordered the Buffalo shrimp, but they weren’t very impressive. They didn’t have a buffalo taste. Everytime we have oyter cravings, we always end up in this place. Have to mention, they do have great seafood menu.

I went here for a team building exersize. We sat at the bar & ate a shit-ton of oysters & drank beer. I personally had the fried oysters & shared raw oysters, that was AMAZING. The raw oysters were fresh, sweet, & huge! I love that the bar is old school with a trough & paper on concrete counter last with paper towels. This is not any hoity-toity bs, this is amazing. Be prepared to eat & get dirty.

Arrived close to 8pm and only the oysters were good from then on –service? I don’t believe it exists here, table not acknowledged for about 4 minutes, new people arrived, then not acknowledged for another 5min… Drinks? Take FOREVER, and I do mean water… Want to place an order? Well just wait there until you pretty much have to hold your server hostage… –Your food? Well a salad took, and I am NOT exaggerating 30 minutes… Note there was no meat on this salad only uncooked items… So you make that what you will –Oysters? Pretty good, tasted fresh and their cocktail sauce was good. These did come out in about 10 min –likely hood of a return trip? None, I can find pretty good oysters elsewhere So if you expect to be served, good luck.

I love the seafood here. The service varies from excellent to mediocre so it’s always a crap shoot but we keep coming back! It’s got a vast menu so there is something for non seafood eaters too, but I mostly stick to oysters, mahi sandwich, fish and chips and the hush puppies. I love the hush puppies. Oh and the wings are great too!

I had a good experience at this iconic, old Florida oyster house. We were seated quickly in a booth, but the raw bar looked inviting. We were disappointed in the lack of gluten free items and the approach our server used when we asked if any modifications or accommodations could be made. The answer was simply«no». We ordered the snow crab legs and the fried shrimp, both with fries. The crab was on the small side, but made well. The shrimp was very fresh and good. The restaurant was packed and obviously had a lot of regulars. Overall, it was a good experience and I would return to try the raw bar.

Animal Abuse with my meal. I tried to eat my meal but found it difficult with the mistreatment of the fish in the display tank next to my table. Anyone who has a heart can see how badly they are treated and are way too large and too crowded for the tank. This place has an overfilled fish tank with fish so large they can’t turn around. One fish was dying and turning over while the other tried to hold him up. It was awful to watch. Somebody needs to regulate this disgusting treatment of animals. PETA or animal services. No living thing should be shoved in a too small aquarium. Shame on you fix the problem. Horrible
