My spouse and I are HUGE pizza lovers, we have tried nearly 30 different pizza joints the«4 Seasons» pizza here is amongst one of the best we have had! Clean place, good pricing, great staff!

We visited on a Sunday evening about 5:30pm. There were about 5 other tables occupied — so not a busy time. Our waitress, Daijah, was new — no doubt! DH ordered a tap beer and I ordered a glass of chardonnay. It tasted odd. So she brought me a different brand of chardonnay which I also sent back.(On our bill, it said«white zinfandel».) I then asked for a Chianti. She brought a glass of sangria. Next glass was a poor red of some sort. I gave up & just didn’t drink it. DH ordered linguine with white clam sauce which consisted of 6 tiny clams in a watery sauce. I ordered shrimp scampi that was also floating in water. The shrimp had breading on them. Yuck! My salad(which was included, but she said it wasn’t) came with Wishbone Italian dressing. It came out along with my entrée. When I questioned that, she said it wasn’t ready earlier. Then I realized that we had no bread. I asked — then we got some bread half way through our meal. The kicker — she kept our credit card and we have to go back and get it.

The service was good. Staff is very friendly however, the food was mediocre. The kids spaghetti was swimming in water, the penne pordormo was bland with over cooked chicken, and it was quite evident that the eggplant was frozen. My entire family walked out not feeling good. Too bad because a couple of months ago we really enjoyed it. Maybe it was an «off night» but don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

It’s all homemade, fresh and savory. Great value. Great selection. My favorite when in this area. Fresh fresh fresh.

Great service and friendly waitresses. That’s about where it ends. The food was very bland. I was hoping to have a nice Italian restaurant so close to home, but I was disappointed. Maybe this is good for those who don’t know what Italian food tastes like.

Kind of wondering if I was at the same restaurant as everybody else. Everyone working there was awesome, but besides from that not much to say. Went with my little brother and parents a few days after xmas. Started with the fried mozzarella because why not, apparently they make the cheese in house which was a great sign. Sadly, it was undercooked and very disappointing. My dad went with a shrimp pasta dish and said it was acceptable. I had chicken parm, which was lukewarm. The best dish was the Sicilian pizza my brother and mom had, so if I ever ended up back there I would definitely go with that. Like I said though, both the server and the kitchen staff were extremely nice, so I feel bad leaving a poor review. However, there really wasn’t anything resembling a standout dish here. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day? I really wanted to stray away from Carrabba’s/Macaroni Grill and support local business but this visit didn’t convince me to.

Service was incredibly slow. The server was nice and all, but it was so slow. The food was mediocre at best. The lasagna was cold when it came out. The table behind us also had under cooked pizza. Seems to be a kitchen issue. The sauce was also watery and lacked taste.

Great menu! Our server, Cecille was very good! Highly recommended. He had Veal Parm & I had eggplant. Excellent. I can’t believe I live so close and this is the first visit in 6 years. Best kept secret! A must try.

Went over last night on a recommendation and I’m glad I did. I had the best pizza in Orlando by far. My wife had a calzone and described it as AMAZING. Great place and very courteous service.

Carmela’s has become our favorite Italian destination in the Altamonte/Longwood area. Multiple trips have all yielded the same results: excellent food, service, with a price that’s as good or better than any of the«usual’s». The food always tastes fresh and and the service has always been friendly and prompt with the right mix of showing up as needed but not so often that you are giving me social indigestion… you know, actually paying attention?! Family and group friendly with indoor and shaded outdoor seating which is a great bonus. Anything we’ve tried in the menu has met or exceeded expectations and we always walk away smiling. Can’t beat that.

Get the grandma’s pizza if it’s the last thing you do! I’ve been here probably 5 times and every time everything is too notch! Service, food and adorable atmosphere!

This place is fantastic! Service is always prompt and friendly and the food is amazing. Their pizza and wings are some of the best pizza and wings I’ve ever had. I love coming here!

I have been a big fan of Carmella“s but after ordering a meatball parm sub and literally got 3 half of meatball on each side of the sandwich, it’s time to go elsewhere … That’s pathetic … Not 3 meatballs on each half of the sandwich but 3 half meatballs or 1 and half meatball per half sub … That equates to 3 meatballs per sandwich for 8 bucks … Avoid this rip off an Italian joint

Service was good waiter was on top of everything. The food was OK nothing spectacular or out of this world. They do include garlic knots which were really good. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, my husband the eggplant parmigiana. Chicken was bland, the eggplant was not fried like a traditional eggplant parmigiana.

Hubby and I are on the hunt for a neighborhood-style Italian restaurant that serves good pizza and Italian food. We tried Carmela’s based upon the Unilocal reviews. Long story short, the food is two stars. Just like the others’ reviews, the middle of the pie is floppy and you cannot eat it with your hands without getting super messy. And, the mushrooms on the pie were from a can. This is a big No-No for me. The chicken in the Chicken Marsala dish was cooked nicely, however the sauce didn’t taste developed and there was about one, maybe one-and-a-half, worth of mushrooms in the entire dish; however, there were lots of onion slices(I was not a fan of this addition). Service was lovely. Prices slightly above reasonable; moderately above reasonable for the table wine. Table was sticky, crumbs on the booth seats, and the booth seats are shallow(so if you’re tall, you may be better off at a table).

I would give them 4.5 stars if I could. The service was amazing, the food was great, the only downside is that salad was not included with my entrée. Seriously that is the only downside to this place. I have only been there once, but I will be back again! Also, the garlic knots could use some more garlic.

I have had lunch here about four times over last few years when I come to Orlando for business. Always have recieved great service, and good basic Italian food. Thier Gorgonzola salad with walnuts is one of the best salads I have ever had. My favorite is Veal scalopini which is a good portion too; unlike a lot of restaurants giving very small portions now. Restaurant is very clean, and is cumfortable; plus prices are very reasobable as well. Parking can be challanging sometimes.

Carmela’s is a great little gem and is probably the only place that claims to be authentic Italian that actually is authentic. They make their mozzarella in house, fresh daily— and positively the best cheese I’ve ever had. Then… Our server, Barbara, was the best! It was our first time so she took the time to explain the whole menu down to how each dinner and pizza is prepared. Prices are more than fair and the food is excellent. Charming atmosphere. Can’t wait to make this a Friday tradition for our family. Ask for Barbara :-)

Staff is super friendly. especially the one waitress who, as soon as we walked in to pick up our to go order immediately looked at my girl and said«hey! how are you, recovered from the other night»? we looked confused so questioned the comment. Apparently the waitress thought my girl was some other girl she was just out with at the club doing jello shots off of lol. im like ya, friday night she was passed out at 11pm in bed. she looked a little embarrassed when she realized it wasnt her, but we got a kick out of it. every time we’d go back id make a comment, wonder if your girlfriend is working tonight. and when she was we couldnt help but smile at the looks the waitress kept giving her. Definitely the bedroom eyes. I havent seen her there the last few times though. but enough of the girl on girl and on to the food. the amount of sauce they give you when you get garlic knots isnt typically enough. so ask for extra. the carmelas wings are amazing. Their chi ken parm is good. I hear their egg plant is great but I refuse to be tricked into eating vegetables just because it has sauce and cheese on it. their pizza is perfect, big sloppy slices with just a touch of grease. how every northern wants their pizza so for some good food, friendly staff and possible girl on girl action. carmelas is 5 stars…
