This is now a Hollywood theatre. Don’t use the Flixster app for the address. It is incorrect! Beautiful theatre, fast ticketing, food, and comfy seats!

This needs some publicity! Just came & was told they needed to search my purse. No weapons are allowed… even if the State of Texas has issued you a permit! It’s not in my purse so I let them look then asked them why & got the whole unless you’re on active duty as a peace officer you cannot bring a gun in, licensed or not. Time to find another theater! Glad there’s more than one here in Longview! *Update* 11÷20÷15 — they didn’t check purses this time, although the signage is still up that they will. When asked why they said that people complained about it a lot … no crap!!! Y’all think?!?

I’m not sure if it it is local or corporate policy but turning away people with concealed carry licenses is just crazy. The manager must be wanting to close down this location. There are no signs posted or anything like that.

This theater does not allow CCW, after everything that has happened I will not spend a dime in a place that does not let law abiding customers protect their families when they go out in public.

Manager tells CHL holders he doesn’t want them in his theater… Doesn’t just ask people who can legally carry a firearm to leave it in their vehicle. He doesn’t want them in his theater even if they don’t have a gun on them… I will never go back to this theater.

Pretty good theatre. Nice and clean though over $ 7 for a matinée is silly. Movie started about 10 minutes late. Other than that great place to come.

Just saw Jurassic world and it was really good. I would recommend it if you like this kind of movie. There was a large crowd but the theater didn’t seem cramped.

This is the newest movie theater in town, so they’ve got the nicest stadium style seating, and the seats are the high back ones with head support — so really comfortable. The place is very clean, lots of theaters(14 I think?), and when new blockbusters come out they usually are showing them on multiple screens. Here are the things I don’t like though: 1.) They have automated ticket machines that never seem to work. Sometimes they are just out of order completely — other times they won’t print your ticket/receipt, so there is that awkward moment where you try to convince the ticket taker that you really did pay, but didn’t get a ticket. I would use these machines every single time if I could, because I can ALWAYS go faster than the person at the ticket counter(or at least it seems that way since I am only waiting on myself). 2.) The box office has no protection from the sun, and is facing the afternoon/evening sun, and it really really sucks waiting out there in the middle of summer. Fix your automatic ticket machines or get an awning! 3.) This is really a complaint against all the theaters in town — why not get some better food for the concession stand? This place has the standard candy, sodas, popcorn, hot dogs, and nachos. I wish they would get soft pretzels that you could dip in nacho cheese. Some theaters in other towns also have these soft pretzels cut into bite sized pieces for easier dipping. Pizza would also be nice(I’ve been to plenty of theaters in other cities that have these). 4.) There is a $ 3(maybe $ 3.50) surcharge for 3d movies. First off, the only reason I ever see a movie in 3d is if I missed the non-3d version of the movie, and it happens to be close to time for the 3d version of it. Second, those little glasses don’t cost $ 3…and they have boxes for recycling the glasses. When I pay $ 3 extra for those glass, I’m definitely not giving them back. In fact, I punch my key through the glasses and then throw them away to make sure they can’t be reused — but that’s just because I’m spiteful because you charged me $ 13 to see a movie in 3d that I would have rather watched in 2d. If anything, you should give me a discount for watching it in 3d. 5.) Another problem with all theaters everywhere… I hate how individual lines form in front of the cashiers at the ticket booth and concession stand. So if I pick a line with people in it that don’t know what they want, I very well may have to wait twice as long to be served as someone that picked a different line. And if there are 2 existing lines, and a 3rd cashier opens up and says«Next person in line please» — well, there are actually 2 «next people in line» — who goes first? Why not have a single line where the first person in line goes to the next available cashier? That way if there is one slow poke, it doesn’t needlessly affect the people that chose poorly by getting behind them? But, don’t get me wrong here — this is a good movie theater. Always pretty clean, comfortable seats, good sound systems in the theaters.

Went to see Contraband, not a favorite of auction movies, but a friend wanted to go. Movie was very intense and had me squirming in my seat. Glad I went to see it after all. Went during Matinée-Early bird time, ticket was $ 6.00-great price for me! Clean auditorium. Did not get snacks or refreshments – WAY to expensive – bottle of water-$ 5.00!!! Matinée time is the best time to go!
