I came here to study for finals with 2 of my friends. And the entire place was empty. We were the only people in the coffee shop. We sat down opened up our computers and realized we needed the wifi password. So I approached the baristas and asked for the wifi password. They said I needed to be a paying customer. I replied and said, «we plan on staying here until 6pm. So I’m assuming we will buy drinks between now and then.» He said they get busy around 6pm and since we aren’t buying drinks he doesn’t want us occupying a table in the front of the building. So I replied and said«since we are the only ones in here, if it gets busy we will leave but so far we are the only people in here.» He replied again and said unless you are a paying customer we won’t give you the wifi password. So I ordered a kids milk $.99 and paid. I went and sat down, I realized I forgot to ask for the wifi password, so I walked back up and asked for the wifi password. He said, «are you planning on buying something more than a kids milk?» I replied possibly. Hard to tell right now. He said, «the password is ‘greatcrepes’». I said, «thank you». The male barista was a dark haired older balding man, with a goatee haha. Pretty rude employees. Feels unwelcoming. And I most likely won’t come back again. Zigi’s is the place to go compared to this place. It just feeling like a very Disrespectful environment. See for yourself! This is my one and only experience with this poop hole. Haha

Good food. Wait for food can be long, even when empty.

This place is great. Great atmosphere, wonderful that it’s not crowded, great food, great coffee. It’s my new coffee place in Longmont, beats all the rest by a mile. All the people who don’t like it can stay away, so nice to have a quiet getaway right in the middle of town. AND it has a great historical vibe while being very modern and updated. The original tin ceiling is in place, as are the baseboards if I’m not mistaken. Nice loft-y feel.

I made an unfortunate decision of stopping by here, simply because they had outside seating. I thought I’d give it a try, even though I have had several friends tell me that I would be disappointed. For starters, the place is huge, empty and leaves you with a feeling of discontent as soon as you walk in. The lady working the counter obviously did not want to be there and was not capable of being friendly, even though I attempted to engage her in friendly conversation. What really gets me about that is the fact that she was not the only person working, someone else was in the back. I ordered a simple four ingredient salmon bagel sandwich. Cream cheese, tomatoes, smoked salmon and red onions. I was expecting these ingredients to be heaped inside of the bagel seeing how the price tag was $ 8. No, I got four slivers of onion, ONE thin slice of tomato, salmon that was obviously out of a can and cream cheese that tasted like it was cut with sour cream. My daughter’s crêpe was obviously not fresh, which is something I might expect from a café with the option of a crêpe but not a business that claims to be a creperie. My next complaint is the cold brew coffee. Quite simply, if the ice waters the coffee down immediately you are doing a disservice to your business by serving it. It is not that hard to add more grounds to your brew or to simply let it set longer before you pour it. It really saddens me to how folks living in this area have simply grown accustomed to crap food. I refuse to settle for okay or mediocre for a hefty price tag.

The gluten free honey lemon desert crêpe was delicious and id want another one if I wanted to wait another half an hour for something so simple. Easily over whelmed by crowd larger than about 4 people and mis made our crêpe batter twice, or something, not really sure what the excuse was. Always appreciate gluten free options and good fact, they don’t use eggs– egg substitute instead. Anyway, it took forever and it was annoying and we were outside because we had a dog and they didn’t offer to bring it out to us so we had to keep going in to check on it over and over. Annoying. Not great customer service. Ehh :/

Two reasons why this place ranks on the lowest end of my optimistic Unilocal rating scale: 1. Allegro coffee(also Whole Foods’ poor choice chain-wide) 2. No personality or spirit in the restaurant. Eerily quiet, no warm welcome from either employee. 3. I was only going to write two, but really, nothing about the joint makes it desirable to return. I know I at least will get a smile from Ziggy’s or La Vita Bella!

The good: clean, lots of options, sweet and savory crepes The ok: a bit pricey, a bit long to get food The bad: none A girl friend and I stopped in and each had a crêpe for late lunch and I got a cinnamon roll to go. Crepes were good and roll was ok. I think people artificially rate things sometimes and I don’t want to do this so I’m giving it 3* but adding that YOUSHOULDGO! Give it a shot, I’ll be back for sure.

This was our second time to visit The Brew. There’s a lot of potential here, but not a lot of follow thru. Our first visit was for brunch. I had one of the savory crepes. The flavor was quite good, but most savory crepes are served with a sauce, otherwise they’re just too dry. The Brew savory crepes are not served with sauces, and we noticed that there is no real kitchen. Nothing wrong with that, but I personally feel the savory crepes would not be so dry with some sauces. For my second lunch visit I had one of the bagel sandwiches. It was actually fine, but nothing to distinguish it from any other bagel sandwiches. I think my largest complaint has to do with service and personnel. Another reviewer has stated that they need more help, and I agree with that. Plus, a dose of friendly attitude would help. For our lunch, neither of the people working there smiled, or even acknowledged a pleasant«Hello» or «Thanks for coming». If they’re still in business in a couple of months, we’ll try again, but unless they step it up, they(sadly) may not be able to make it.

Nice to see a restaurant on Main Street open on Sunday! I’ve been twice now, and have not been impressed with the food. Everything is just ok — not terrible — but nothing I’m excited about. Prices are very reasonable, and I suppose that’s reflected in the quality of the food.

Overall, this was not a great experience. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that they have good coffee. My girlfriend and I ordered two crepes and two coffees. We got our coffee immediately but waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. This would have been more acceptable if we were warned ahead of time. The food itself was so so but not even close to worth the 45 minute wait. The prices were slightly high as well. I hope this place gets the kinks worked out and the owner hires more staff.

Very well done! The coffee was great and the crepes were perfect. My daughter must eat gluten free, so there aren’t a lot of choices most places. These gluten free crepes were amazing, and the Monte Christo with raspberry chipotle sauce was outstanding. This is real food, not fast food so be patient. It is worth the wait! Great job!

I do like the food and the staff. I would make one recommendation get rid of the lunch meat slices. The sundried tomato pesto was very tasty. The spinach was fresh, I would ask for additonal spinach next time. But ham from the deli was a disappointment.

Another great little spot! Coffee is again, different from the rest of the great coffee in town; a little smoother, not as strong as others but really good. Also a great selection of different foods you can’t get at the other shops. Love the variety in Longmont!!!

I would almost give this place 4 stars except for the crepes are super delicious and the business is just starting out so they may be still ironing out the kinks. The brew is a good location with a nice, clean, beautifully restored space. I like the atmosphere, it has great potential. It needs some art work and maybe some cozier seating. I got a cappuccino. I’d give the drink 3 – 4 stars. The staff are nice. The crepes take awhile because it’s not a restaurant setting so you can’t expect fast food service. They had 3 people working and I felt a little bad for the line behind me when I ordered 2 crepes. They managed it well and got everyone taken care of. As I write this, I’ve already finished eating and I’ve been here an hour all together. Service was fast enough, considering. Crepes are gluten free and they offer both savoury and sweet. My daughter and I both thought they were 5 stars!

We would like to try this place again once they have been established and get the kinks worked out. We tried the all american crêpe and breakfast burrito. Both were tasty, however both of us agreed that they were a little dry and lacking Green chili on the burrito, and a drizzle on the crêpe. The coffee was good, but not impressed by the mango smoothie. The frustrating part, however, was the near hour wait to get our food without any warning or apology.

I have always thought that a creperie would be a nice addition to Longmont, so I was happy to check this place out as soon as it opened. There are things that I like about it, but also I was disappointed in a few key elements. What I like: — They have renovated and improved a historic space downtown. Always a good thing. There isn’t a ton of personality in the design, but perhaps it will be improved by the addition of artwork? — They have a big menu with several things that I am looking forward to trying. They have both savory and sweet crepes as well as some sandwiches and a number of burritos. — The prices are very reasonable. — I had a sweet crêpe called«The Works»: Nutella, mixed berries, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. It was good! What I don’t like: — The crepes were a bit on the doughy side, rather than being super thin. This seemed okay in the dessert crepes, but not so great in the savory. — The ingredients are not high quality. My friend’s ham and cheese crêpe could have been great with really good ham and gruyère. But it was very meh. — The whipped cream is not real whipped cream. I think the low prices reflect the less than stellar ingredients, but I would rather pay a few more bucks for something of higher quality.

What a treat to have a massive menu of savory and sweet crepes in Longmont! Locally sourced food, beer, liquors, etc. Open till 9 on Fri for post dinner deliciousness. I had The Very Veggie on a buckwheat crêpe. Light, thin crêpe was flavorful and warm. Allegro coffee is on the extensive coffee drink menu too. Plenty of free parking in back lot with entrance from lot.
