Stopped here on our way from Denver to Estes Park. Food was great, owner was very nice and accommodating to some food allergies we have to be careful of. Overall great experience.

Super yummy, creative, Mexican«street» food with delicious flavor combinations. Adorable space, friendly, professional service. I imagine Prospect locals know, but it’s worth the trip to this cute neighborhood in Longmont.

I really like this place. We stopped here for lunch after a recent brewfest in the park nearby. It is a quaint little eatery in the local neighborhood with some nice food options. They have a couple taps and a nice and reasonable wine list. The prices seem good and the food selections we had were great. There are tacos and street food and some nice other offerings on the menu. I would have given five stars, but for a couple of things. I requested some hot sauce as it does have Mexican food and they don’t have any! I couldn’t believe that. Maybe it was just the waiter, but he said they don’t have any. Also, I used the women’s restroom and the toilet paper roll was sitting on the floor. No toilet paper holder? Maybe they are new, but really? Us women want our toilet paper off the ground. Other than that, it was a fun time, and we may go back.

Should be minus 5 stars. We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. At the time the owner was very nice to us. Tonight, however, she lost our approx $ 200 a month we spend there because we walked in, saw five empty seats at the bar, we sat down at two of the empty seats as we have most of the nights that we have walked in there. We hadn’t even finished sitting down(prepared to spend $ 80 as we had 2 weeks ago) at the bar when the owner rudely came up and told us that those seats(at the bar) were«reserved», I worked in the restaurant business for 20 years, and never reserved a seat at the bar. Very unprofessional, she should leave managing the business with customer service set as a priority, something this place seriously lacks. Dr. David L.

Comida offers a modern take on many classic Mexican dishes, such as grilled tacos, gordidas, and a variety of salsas. Everything is reasonably priced(less than $ 50 for two) and you will not leave hungry!

This place is literally my favorite restaurant that I have reviewed so far on Unilocal. We have been back five times and the service is incredible every time. The people here very obviously care a great deal about their food and prepare some very unique dishes. Love the atmosphere, love the plating, love talking to the employees. The queso fundido is our favorite appetizer… Try it out!

We had the best food by the best server, Ryan. The food was delicious. Best salad, entrée and cobbler ever. Thank you.

This place is AMAZING! First of all, the server was the most amazing server I have ever seen! Never have I seen anyone take so much pride in the menu, the restaurant, and your needs. I think all males who even think about serving should take notes here(and some females). I though he may have been the owner, because of how much he cared about the place. The owner did stop by and she was delightful!
Now… the food… Perfect! Ceviche was amazing! You must try the pressed bacon taco. It will make you vegetarians think twice. Great food! Great location. Great prices. Most Mexican food in Longmont is mediocre at best. This is off the charts! Try it once. You won’t be disappointed!

I wanted to love it, but did not. I really like the idea but it just did not deliver. The food is presented beautifully but taste was lacking. Lacking so much that it was not worth it’s price. The ambiance is nice and the sense of community is very cool, but not enough to make up for the food. Worth a try once, but after being there three times to’re-try’ we will not be back.

Wednesday night, great service, margs and food. Shared Shrimp ceviche, stacked pork enchiladas, chips and guacamole. All fresh ingredients and unique recipes. Really good stuff. Staff was great tonight.

Finally tried this place after I’ve heard good things. Honestly, the food was average. Fish tacos were a bit too fishy. Salsa and chips were disappointing. I will give a huge shout out to that Watermelon Marg though!!! One of the best drinks I have ever had. Sweet, salty with a hint of spice… perfect!

Best gringo hipster food in town? Definitely not Mexican. Not even a little. $ 4 horchata, very small. What is this, a rice famine? $ 4 chips and salsa. To be fair, they were quite nice. $ 10 Bland chicken and beans and mediocre rice. To be fair, it was filling. The menu is filled with bourgeois eye-rollers«carnitas simmered with Stella Artois» and pretention like«drizzled with crema». I think«crema» is hipster for«lite sour cream». Service was hilariously slow. Cool lamp shades though.

Comida helped seal the deal when I was looking for a place to move to in Boulder County as a Los Angeles transplant and was lucky enough to move in to a building right next door! They have the absolute yummiest cocktails and the daily cocktail special is always an amazing price. The food is very authentic and the overall vibe of the menu and restaurant reminds me a lot of modern Mexico City. I was first introduced to Comida when I visited their location at the Source which is super hip and fun. I love the Longmont location for its truly local neighborhood kind of vibe. My first day of getting snowed in, it was such a gift to be able to walk next door and get some super delicious pozole. The chips and salsas are awesome as well as the crispy shrimp on the happy hour menu and the griddled tacos… OMG. Can’t wait to try the Saturday chicken dinner!

Just had our first visit and it was delicious. Went on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm and it was nice and quiet. My husband loved the shrimp taco and I loved the chicken quesadilla. Beans and rice were a perfect addition. Drew was our server and was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Seems to be getting stale as our experiences the last couple of times there was sub-par. Food was still decent but the menu needs some new blood and the service has gone from great to just barely a passing grade

Local, fresh, and tasty. We ordered just about everything between the 8 of us. I liked that their jamaica and ginger beer wasn’t overly sweet so you can discern that it’s homemade, not a syrup. Definitely order the chips and salsas, including salsa verde. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Delicious. Love the steak taco. Love to see the food truck when I show up somewhere. The slaw on top of some of their tacos is fantastic.

Fresh ingredients, simple clean flavors, beautifully prepared small plates, attentive service, cool vibes. This is my favorite place to have a cocktail in Longmont. The Habanero Pineapple Margarita is great, the Grapefruit Daiquiri is good, and the pomegranate mojito is really nice too. They use fresh juices and ingredients for all their juices, bases, simple syrups, and emulsions. The food is typically not spicy, and probably not the«Mexican» you are expecting, but it is tasty and fresh. The queso with chorizo(big chunks of it), the chorizo quesadilla, and the chorizo taco are my favorites… Sense a theme here? If you go, check the specials! They are typically fantastic(and what I order). Last night’s coho salmon with a plum Serrano salsa was the perfect example! Fresh, clean, simple flavors… Beautifully prepared! While you wouldn’t mistake the service for friendly, it is attentive and professional. The space is small(we usually sit at the bar), but with a great ambience– I love the garage door that opens on to the patio and secretly covet the bookshelf with rolling ladder bar. No cell reception(here or in Prospect) and in summer the Cottonwood trees coat the patio with their seed fluff.

Food was disappointing. The atmosphere and décor was great and so was the food presentation. The Flavors of the food just didn’t live up to the expectations. We tried all the tacos and all were pretty average if not bland. Which really was weird and disappointing because they looked so tasty. The rice side had good flavor but was gummy. The mashed sweet potatoes were good but came out barely warm. I love a great modern street taco but this missed the mark.

Great food and presentation, but WAY overpriced! What do you expect in prospect? Service could’ve been better, finished our food in less than five minutes and waited for 10 minutes just sitting there looking at the waiters while being ignored to get the check. Would have ordered a lot more if it wasn’t so overpriced and the table was so small there wasn’t even enough room for drinks and plates!
