Black Canyon Distillery

We went for the tour on our first time here & I fell in love with their Winter Whiskey, unfortunately it isn’t sold in stores near us so we made another trip to the distillery, we had a friend visiting from out of town come with us, luckily Deanna was working this day also, we had a great time chatting with her & trying a few more of their cocktails, my friend really enjoyed his moscow mule, but made with their spicy vodka! Try it… you won’t be disappointed! And I got another bottle of Winter, so worth the drive! Deanna makes the place a lot of fun, & she know how to make a good drink!

Love this place! Fred & Susan are very outgoing and enjoy sharing their passion for the spirits they distill. We like coming in to hang out and enjoy a cocktail and great conversation. They have an awesome food truck parked out front, Devil Dogs BBQ. Great food to add to your visit at Black Canyon Distillery. Try the Rita, a margarita made with whiskey, awesome and I really like their Black Canyon corn whiskey.

Awesome little place! Great tour for the Amazon local coupon price of $ 21. We got the tour, lovely company of one of the owners, shot glasses and $ 10 off a bottle of booze. Also she gave us a coupon for the food truck out front (devil dogs bbq, llc). Make sure you stop there for a snack before getting your drink on. Anyways, the owner was very friendly, informative and a great bartender. The booze was also great and nice to know the corn mash once used was not going to waste but going to some very happy cows. Don’t let the location deter you from grabbing a bottle and a bite to eat !!!

Hands down the best whiskey ever. Stranahan’s has nothing on them. Intimate tasting room run by the makers themselves, you can taste the love in every sip. They make a killer margarita with whiskey; after trying theirs, you will never want a tequila-​based margarita ever again. Colorado represent!

If you have never been to a Distillery before, this is a really great experience. Fred and Susan enjoy what they do, and love to talk about it! It’s really neat to see the hand built stills, and see the pride and craftsmanship that goes into their Whiskeys and Vodkas!
You really can’t go wrong either with taking home any of the products, we really enjoy their WhiskeyRita’s, the pepper vodka makes the best bloody mary’s, and the whiskey — is may be one of the best cooking & mixing whiskey’s ever! I can’t wait until the bourbon they are aging is done.
Stop by even if your not a big fan of hard alcohol — the mixed drinks may change your mind. I only use their whiskey in my «Irish» coffees now.

So I bought an Amazon local deal for my guy as a Christmas gift… He loves his whiskey and so I thought «this is perfect!» And, seriously… It was such a cool experience! Susan and Fred Lesnick own Black Canyon Distillery and love what they do… Our private tour with Fred was awesome and already loving whiskey, we still learned a lot of the process and had so much fun with the tastings that followed… Susan has brought some cool options… Like her version of the margarita, the piña colada, the Bloody Mary and a summertime favorite, cool lemonade! All so good… And they’re latest release to come in March 2015… Mayhem Creek Vodka (with four different peppers)… Whoa!
It’s a cool place… The location is a bit deceiving as you’ll swear you’re in a business park… And you sorta are. Go anyway, it’s worth the trip!
Eat first… The vodka is 190 proof coming out of the still and only gets better! We loved our time and will be back! Check out the pictures and prepared to be entertained!
