Excellent food choices and service. Prices are much cheaper than nearby business. Baked goods are phenomenal!

4* and not 5 because: 1. I think u have either the incorrect address on Unilocal or photos from a diff bakery uploaded to this address 2. You’re not rated by the dept of health Positives: Great food and drinks although some of your items are a bit pricey. After meeting your cats my husband finally agreed to get one, so thank you!!!

This place is an absolute gem. I happened to be walking around the area and just stumbled upon this place by chance. It is in the middle of some warehouses/large trucks and lots — totally random. They had a few trucks out front so I was wondering if maybe they had a food truck business on the side. Everything was extremely fresh and appetizing. All of the baked goods looked like they had just been baked, and they had everything from loaves, to muffins to different types of fruit bars. I got the sample the pumpkin bread and it was delicious and moist. I ordered the walnut-apple chicken salad sandwhcih and it was awesome! The bread was fresh and you could tell it was baked right there. The sandwhich felt like something my mom would have made and it made me very happy and felt home-y. The prices were great as well, the sandwhich was 5 bucks which is literally a steal for a bakery in the boroughs. Would definitely go back if I am ever in the area! Plus there was a really chill cat hanging out that was not having any of my petting lol.

Definitely a hidden treasure, and I only know about it because I work near here. I can only recommend the sandwiches, which are made on order, cheap and very good. I get the apple walnut chicken salad, and I watch the guy chop the apples. The bakery products look really tasty; someday I’ll try them. Very friendly and helpful staff, and two cats(only one friendly.) Don’t let the prison location deter you, it’s around the corner and there’s no interaction at all.

Quite possibly the best unknown bakery in Queens. Perhaps being nestled aside a a correctional facility in the heart of an industrial district does not bode well for foot traffic. Though it seems their main business is supplying others, the counter in front is always stocked with a stunning array of delicious baked goods at prices seemingly too good to be true. There are always free samples too. Some sandwiches and coffee round out the menu, and the staff always greets you with a smile at this hidden oasis of cookies, muffins and cakes.

Welp, here I am again. At the bakery that supposedly caters and supplies several of New York’s establishments with their baked goods. Located in an isolated and odd location for a bakery. I am pretty sure they don’t get the bulk of their business from the retail store because it’s in the middle of no where and small. Right in between warehouses and repair/workshops is this bakery that supposedly ingredient conscious in making it’s food. I don’t know about that one but their treats sure are great tasting. There’s not much to choose from in their display case, it varies from day to day but you can surely count on brownies, cupcakes, cookies and cakes being available. It’s unbelievable great quality baked goods by the piece is so affordable here, only $ 2 gets you something other places might charge $ 3-$ 4 for. You can really taste what goes into their confections. My last purchase was just a desert, walking around burning off the calories from lunch, I decide to revisit and see what they had. I already know their cakes and cookies are good, so what looked yummy to me was the Rockyroad Brownie. A huge cube of 1.5″ high fudge looking desert topped with marshmallows and then dipped in chocolate. The chocolate it was dipped in was no joke, nice flavor to it. The marshmallows were soft and incorporated in the brownie well. The brownie itself was dense and had a really great texture, not crumbly at all but bonded soft, creamy and smooth. The unfortunate side is this Sensible Edible location has no seating but does have a little refrigerator with drinks and a nice little stand to add sugar or honey.
