the worst experience I have ever had by far with any retailer. They messed up the order delivery and would not try to help rectify. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM it took a long time for them to refund me for an order that I never received.

I’ve been a NAP customer since 2009. They used to be by far my favorite retailer. I hardly ever shop there nowadays, mostly for beauty products from brands that are not easy to find elsewhere.
What used to distinguish NAP was its exclusivity and relatively small size, fantastic selection of products, and uniquely excellent customer service. Nowadays, the company is huge, and the customer service is nowhere near what it used to be. Instructions for sizing are often wrong. Exclusivity is merely a memory. Browsing through the site is laborious as there’s just too much stuff and most of it will not appeal to any one person. Nowadays, I only browse by filtering for a particular designer, but that means that I cannot discover new designers or pieces that I would otherwise stumble upon. It used to be considerably more fun to browse NAP than other major retailers such as Saks or Bergdorf. Not any more.
Finally, since the merger with Yoox (which always seemed so amateurish and low-​end, despite humorously inflated prices), you have to pay sales taxes on everything. I can easily avoid that by shopping other retailers, so that’s what I do these days.
In contrast, I never tire of Luisa Via Roma and Matches Fashion. Their packaging is more luxurious than NAP’s, their customer service more responsive, their shipping times are faster even though they ship from Europe for free, their prices are often better, I pay no sales tax, and they have deals for loyal customers more frequently than NAP. The only downside is that they do not sell beauty products. Oh well. NAP for beauty, others for everything else.

I have been purchasing clothing and accessories from Net-​a-​Porter for several years. They blow the big stores like Bergdorf Goodman and Saks out of the water with organization, customer service, and quality of presentation and operations. The quality of their product is substantial. I’m a believer.

Stay away from this company. I ordered an item, was promised a delivery date with NO SIGNATURE Required. The item arrived requiring a signature. Many emails back and forth and i was promised a another item being shipped with no signature. Then a follow up email indicating i would not get the other item until the original was returned, which i never received. This was a birthday gift and all this back and forth has ruined that. Will definitely not purchase from this company again.

about 20x’s. Super fast delivery, beautifully packaged for shipping. Shopping this site is access to a special selection of great pieces often unavailable anywhere else. One of my guilty pleasures and I can’t recommend them enough.

i love how the ratings for net-​a-​porter are either five star or one star with nothing in between. (as least at the time of this review). i feel like its indicative of the fact that NAP is generally a great company that has the occasional total fuck-​up.
i have never had the bad experiences other reviewers mentioned, specifically about billing vs shipping address issues. every order ive placed with NAP has been shipped to an address that is different than my billing address.
in fact, i choose to do most of my clothes and shoes shopping here because i know i can always count on speedy/​correct delivery and easy returns when the items dont work out as planned.
the selection at net-​a-​porter is great. clearly, they have buyers with an excellent eye. i rarely see tacky or hideous things on there (and when i do, they end up– without fail– on
). customer service is great when you are trying to get an out-​of-​stock item in your size, or need sizing or styling advice. honestly, every shopping experience ive had here has been stellar.
they were quite late to the free-​shipping party, which used to really piss me off given that its challenging to spend less than $ 300 on this website. but now they offer free ground shipping on all orders, so i have zero complaints anymore.

Net-​a-​porter is my favorite kind of internet «porn» and I love browsing through the website to stare and drool over some of the most beautiful items created. The only thing better that «fake shopping» on the site is actually shopping on the site. I ordered a pair of Stella McCartney running shoes, feeling the need to be fancier in my everyday, and less than 24 hours from conceptualization (I need some awesome designer running shoes) to Actualization (Oh, good morning mailman. Shoes? For me?) they were here. This kind of service, coupled with an amazing website and perfectly curated collection, makes me never wanna shop «low brow» (buh bye Macy’s) again. Here’s to picking up a second job to indulge my new «fetish».

I love this website so I thought it’s due for an update review on my recent purchase. I have been searching high and low for a mini bag. However, I still want it big enough for my junks. I found one at a mall that fits the bill but it’s the last one with scratches all over.
I checked this website and found the exact bag. Three days later, I received my package. They still offer free shipping and tax free. I love it.

They also have a great selection, they had a lot of size 35.5 which is hard to find many places because they sell out quickly. So go ahead and splurge a little.

Net-​a-​porter is great until you receive the wrong item in the right box.
That’s when awful customer service begins. I recently ordered a pair of Saint-​Laurent boots that’s over 1000 dollars. When I received the package, I opened it and it contained a pair of boots that did not look like anything I ordered. Frankly I don’t even know who would buy what I received.
I went online, checked the picture again hoping that maybe sometimes it’s just the picture that fools people into buying. It turns out the boots did not even look like the picture of what I had ordered. Puzzled, I looked at the brand underneath the boots, and it’s a Givenchy boots packed inside Saint laurent box! The boots had obviously been tried before with marks on them; they are not even the right size. I immediately sent Net-a-porter’s customer service an email hoping they would resolve their mistake and send me my correct item since my item was still listed online as available.
After waiting for an entire day, nothing. Next day, not even a reply, so I had to write another email hoping somebody would get back to me. At that time, the boots were already out of stock. Customer service finally replied hours later the following day (a good day and a half after I let them know). «We apologize, please send the boots back and we will put you on waitlist for the item you purchased.»
Let’s recap: I received the wrong item, emailed them, and after waiting for an answer, hoping to receive the item I had actually purchased, the best they could do is to say: «we’ll put the item you actually bought on your „wait list“ and please send us back the item we mistakenly send you to us, furthermore, let us know if you need more instruction on return procedure.»
Hmm, shouldn’t you come to get the item yourself and express deliver the correct item to me? Where is the item I actually bought? Why should I have to go to a ups with a heavy box to not even get my real thing back? It’s just so wrong!
And guess what, since there’s nothing written on the box to explain it was originally sent as a wrong item, the return department is so going to treat it as, oh, a returned saint laurent, great. Let’s send it out to the next person waiting in line.
I am regrettably to say, I am so disappointed with net-​a-​porter. Never again.

Superb selection and great sales! As well, for International Customers, their policies are just top notch! N.A.P goes out of their way to ensure the customer is number one and it shows if you are not satisfied with your purchase.
I purchased two pairs of shoes on their Black Friday Sale, received them within three days of ordering which is just unknown since the parcel had to travel across the ‘border’.
One pair of Jimmy Choo Wheel Flats which are just fab, so they are in the closet and sadly, the Church’s brogue creepers did not fit and had to go back to Net-​a-​porter.
The great thing about this company, they make it so easy easy to return items: they include ALL of the courier documents AND they have these documents FILLED out! I did not have to do anything, other than drop off the package to the courier (or I could have called them to pick it it up).
A total refund with all duties and taxes back on my credit card.
Could not have been easier!
Oh, forgot to mention… You are not charged shipping or a restocking fee for returning the items which is a super bonus and unbeatable when cross border shopping.

whoooohoooo! this is a shopping experience. I really don’t know how they do it. I order shoes here, i have big feet, size 41 Louboutins and 40 in Jimmy Choo I find that my size is often hard to find. I usually get pretty lucky with net a porter and most recently i got same day delivery. Thats right. I ordered in the morning, and in a few hours later knock knock at my door! my shoes!!! I have a doorman mind you, but they brought them right up to my doorstep. I wish everything was this easy! Be prepared to spend more then you were planning though. their selection is to die for!

Net-​a-​porter impressed me with their amazing selection so I decided to order a pair of pumps for V-​Day present for myself.
2÷8÷2012: Order made and received email confirmation immediately that it is ready for dispatch
2÷9÷2012: Received a message stating that AMEX requests that we deliver only to addresses registered to the card you have shopped with, and the address you have provided doesn’t match this. Really?
2÷9÷2012: Contacted AMEX regarding this issue — AMEX states that they have stated no such restriction to Net-​A-​Porter. Net-​A-​Porter threw AMEX under the bus! Little do they know how much I adore AMEX.
2÷13÷2012: Net-​A-​Porter states that they cannot ship unless authorized by AMEX and requested a response
2÷13÷2012: I responded asking them to remove them from their mailing list, and I will go ahead and order from another vendor
2÷13÷2012: I order from another vendor
2÷23÷2012: Receive pumps (I thought you weren’t going to send it to me because my activity might be «fraudulent»? And by the way, it was supposed to be a VDay gift. I already received it on VDay from the other vendor even though I ordered it the day before VDay)
2÷23÷2012: I try to return item following their exact directions to INCLUDE leaving the box open for UPS delivery personnel
2÷24÷2012: UPS delivery personnel stops by the pick up the package but looks at me incredulously for leaving the package open and states that he cannot accept packages that are not sealed
2÷24÷2012: Finally return the item after sealing the package disregarding directions per NAP
2÷24÷2012: Received an apology email from NAP regarding all the mishaps and hope that this does not discourage from future orders
The train, my child, has already left the station, and I don’t plan on using your website again.

I am so impressed with this company, words fail me! Their customer service is SUPERB. They don’t just say they have great customer service but then do nothing at all to back it up (I’m talking to you Gracious Home) but they exceed my expectations every time. They are the GOLD standard in caring for customers and for that reason I will be a loyal and avid customer for life.
Their website is also amazing; they do a fantastic job of presenting the goods, showcasing them with other products, and their video and descriptions make you just keep buying more and more (well, I do anyway). They also choose incredibly cool stuff that would appeal to even the most discriminating fashionista. I owe them a debt of gratitude because although I’m spending too much they are helping me make-​over my wardrobe in a wonderful, fun and painless way. Every M, W, and F I wake up and immediately hightail it to my computer to see what’s new.
