Good prices, good food, great customer service. I got the«Mark E» Roll, comes with shrimp, eel, cucumbers, avocado & spicy sauce; with a side of pickled ginger & wasabi. It’s 6 pieces(A whole roll) for $ 6. Money well spent, ended up ordering another roll to go for my mother: p

I had their beef with peppercorn sauce. That’s pretty good. The hot and sour soup is pretty good too.

I really like this restaurant, even from the moment I stepped in for the first time ever. I was greeted politely by the staff, they waited patiently for me to order, and I was even given a free soda(shh.don’t tell). I was impressed by the food as well, although I always order the same two dishes every time I go, so I don’t know what most of the food tastes like. Whenever I go in, I’m greeted and the staff automatically knows what I want to order. I love this place, especially the steamed pork dumplings :)

I’m on a quest for Hunan items in an attempt to replicate spicy items I enjoyed about 22 years ago(not sure where.) So at Empire I tried the Hunan shrimp combo. The shrimp were large and the vegetables were decent, although the brown sauce could have been spicier. I didn’t ask for pork fried rice and got plain fried rice which didn’t have much going on.

Took the suggestion of a friend and was pleasantly surprised! Was it PF Changs? No, but for the constant journey I am always finding myself on to find very seven Chinese delivery, this place did a really good job! Prices were great and portions were perfect. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Typical Chinese spot. Good quality, fair prices. I like that the Combos come in different sizes and have a good proportion of rice to meat/veg. The sushi looks good but I have not tried it yet. They offer chopsticks :) but also have forks and spoons for ametuers. Its the unofficial Chinese spot for us LaGuardia students so you may find some of us in there with our books and our phones pluged in to the outlets that line the windowsill.

Another welcome addition to the Queensborough Plaza station area where I work, this restaurant fills a gap in the culinary melting pot, which is finally developing in the area. Basic fast-food Chinese food, but as the restaurant is new(and across the street from the Department of Health Headquarters), it is bright and clean. The restaurant offers basic Chinese fare, as well as Sushi items which I would not chance in such a restaurant, they also have a buffet which I avoid, going for items which need to be made fresh. The food tates fine, not too greasy and the price is in expensive.

I passed by after I park my car and noticed this restautant. It looks clean. I need a fast meal which they are fast and for the price of the food is mostly 6 dollar too; however if you want more rice and less meat. This is a place for you. I orderei chicken w garlic sauce, there is so much rice but only 3 pieces of chicken w veg that take up most of the space. I also expected the rice is separated from the chicken and sauce which is not. The rice already soak up all the sauce by the time i went back to the car and eat. It is not too«wow» for me. Also. The person is rule when i order. Also I have to go back for the folk and she is rule when i ask for folk which it is a self serve counter. How would you expect to get your own folk and napkin when you buy take out?

Empire Express is steps from the 33rd St stop on the 7 train and offers a gigantic menu of ready-made, super-cheap, and tasty Chinese and Japanese food. Their lunch options come with big, freshly prepared out of the wok dishes, and a soda… most of them are 6 bucks. For the price, you can’t do any better and I enjoyed my Chow Fun and Futo Maki very much. The place is clean, no frills, express-style eating. Most importantly it’s yummy. Recommend if… A) You’re a hungry student, in which you’ll get plenty of food, cooked to order, that’s tasty and affordable. B) You’re heading to the 7 train and want to make the other passengers jealous(or pissed) with the smells of Chinese takeout. C) You want a cheap sushi option… in which they have a large selection of about 30 rolls anywhere from 3 – 7 bucks… it’s a steal! Probably better for new sushi eaters rather than the sushi elite…
