I always go to blend on the land. Well thats what my friends and i call it.
I must say though. Ive never given the time out to speak about there server rupert.
He’s been there for a long time and is well known by repeat customers. He and the staff are very friendly and on top of their game. I must say. He really makes this llace. Its good when you see the same people working at a location for a long time. It shows how stable they are as a team.
Today i had sopes. Which were amazing!!! And took advantage of the monday happy hour mojitos i had coconut mojito. Also had the veggie burrito. It was amazing. Like always. Don’t forget the spinach empanadas. I must be honest blend on the land is on top of their game. The food today was amazing. Even the other food my friends have… Keep it up

Spoke to Tiffany to book my reservation and she was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Even when I had to call back and change the number of the party completely she was very sweet about the whole thing. Got the chance to meet her in person the day of she was super cool and sat us immediately. Professional, fast service and good food, hard to come by now a’ days.

This place has great food! My favorite is the churrasco. They have a great brunch and amazing drinks. Nice casual atmosphere.

Rupert is very pleasant, and great customer service. The food is awesome! Always a pleasure!

Took my daughter here for dinner last night. I had a Groupon. I bought it because I really enjoyed my first visit here. However, my second visit wasn’t as enjoyable. We were seated at a tiny table even though it wasn’t crowded. A bottle of water $ 6! Seriously? The empanadas were ok, but we could have gone anywhere for that and saved some money. Not impressed!

Rupert greeted my coworker and I immediately and was an extreme pleasure to be served by. He welcomed us to Blend as though we were family. I will definitely recommend Rupert. He was a blessing and the food is delicious!

Went with a friend. She comes here often and said it was good. When we first walked in, the hostess greated us and took us to our table. Apparently the place takes reservations, because there were plenty of empty tables, but she decided to sit us at a tiny table very close to another couple. The bar wasnt big. The place in general isnt huge and the décor was nothing extravagent. I liked the portraits on the wall; each one paid homage to a different latin nation. I was starving, and after being denied entry into Penthouse 808 for wearing timberland boots, i was pissed and just ready to eat. The menu wasnt fancy looking at all and didnt really have many options.
To start off, we were given a few slices of dry bread. My friend and i decided to share a plate of the Camarones Al Ajillo. The shrimp were ok, but the garlic sauce that they came in was extremely delicious. I kept dipping my shrimp in it every chance i could. I even took the dry bread and started dunking that too, leaving it dipped for a few seconds just so it could soak up as much sauce as possible. Even though they were jumbo shrimp, the plate only came with 4; wish i had ordered 2 seperates plates, that way i couldve ate some of my friends as well. For drinks, she ordered a Sangarita. I think she said it was pretty strong. For myself, i ordered my usual Virgin Piña Colada. Ive been getting lucky recently; a lot of the places ive dined at lately make great piña coladas using just ice instead of that slushy crap.
For entrees, my friend kept it simple and ordered the Arroz Con Pollo. The serving looked well portioned; not too tiny, not to excessive. The rice was full of pieces of chicken, and it even came with a few slices of sweet plantains. I ordered the Pernil. Im very skeptical when it comes to ordering pork at restaurants; usually it doesnt taste very good. This place was no exception. Not saying that the pernil was awful, but ive definately had better. The yellow rice was full of flavor, and the totones that came on the plate helped fill me up nice.
To finish off, we decided to share a dessert. Even though the dessert menu had about 5 options, only 2 were available that night. Im tired of trying Tres Leches cake everywhere i go, so we agreed on the Coconut Bread Pudding. It wasnt too big and it came with a scoop of ice cream on top. I couldnt taste any coconut on it. It wasnt bad, but it definately wasnt anything out of this world; it tasted like any other bread pudding served anywhere else. We both took a few bites and left the rest; we were too stuffed to finish it off.
Overall, i can say i enjoyed the place. Its not too big, it wasnt overpacked, and it wasnt too loud. I cant say that 1 single waitress was attentive, because in actuality all of them were. Every waitress that pass by our table made sure we had everything we wanted. What i appreciate most about the place is that it doesnt pretend to be more that what it really is. Its just a small chill spot that serves decent food at a good price; not ratchet but not bougie either. I definately wouldnt mind going again

I feel bad giving Blend a low rating but THIS ONE IS FOR DELIVERY. I ordered the ropa vieja lunch special from seamless. Time quoted was 45 – 55 minutes, but instead it took them 2 hours. I could have even overlooked the slow delivery time and assumed they were busy but the food was ice effing cold! It’s pretty infuriating to have to heat your food delivery up in the microwave WTF. I’m home sick from work today and this made me even crankier than I already am. I live just a few blocks from there BTW so that shouldn’t have been the issue.
Blend has some pretty good food and some pretty good lunch specials, but eat it there or pick it up yourself! Yes, I’ll go back but I will def never get delivery from them again. Lesson learned!

I love coming here! The food is always so good and fast! But what keeps me and my boyfriend coming back is the excellent service from Rupert. Oh boy he is so attentive and always so accommodating! He is able to run this restaurant on any busy night without a problem.

Even though the reservation was made for 3, we didn’t get seated until 3:30, however it was worth the way. The service was excellent. Great food and it was very enjoyable. Frozen sangria is a must, delicious! The bathrooms are awesome!

So I usually love this place but for the first time Blend annoyed the f*ck out of me. As a matter of fact ruined my day. I called my order in. Expecting I could just pay pick up and go on my way but instead for them to tell me that their credit machine hasn’t been working… HELLO THIS IS WHEN YOU TELL ME OVER THE PHONE. They all looked at me so dumbfounded after they asked me if I had cash and replied no. One guy even walked away like … Wth. Anyways fortunately a bank isn’t too far away. But I really walked there and back in the cold. So pissed.
Morals of this story:
1. Make sure to ask if their cc machine is working if you plan to pay with card because they won’t ask and the stupidity will annoy you.
2. If you’re past the hungry mode and more in hangry mode save yourself from the bs
Oh and the food was just ok.

Love this place. When I go, I usually have the Lomo Saltado which is AMAZING! Ugh so hungry just thinking about it! The menu is Latin so you already know it’s full of flavor and personality! You’ll find dishes like Churrasco and Pollo a la Plancha and many more I can’t name. THe food quality is superb and the presentation is elegant. The desserts are also something you should defiantly try! I Love the bread pudding and the Flan.
The drinks are BOMB too! They have Mojitos, Margaritas, Caipirinas, Sangria, they can all be made frozen and come in different flavors like Passion fruit or Mango! There is a full bar for any other drinks too.
The atmosphere is live. It’s always packed in here so you know the food and drinks are good! It’s a great place to have a birthday dinner with a group because the food and drinks are for everyone!

Only go to them when they have a lunch special. They are very pricey and the portions do not match up with the price. I was very disappointed because their food is good just not worth the money.
BTW you have to try their empanadas super delicious. They have a menu item that gives you all the flavors. It totally recommend you order this plate. You must definitely have to try their alcoholic beverages.

I used to love this place. I really did. I was a huge fan. I went back múltiple times and continued to do do do ever since I found it.
I went there yesterday for Brunch. I had the worst service from this guy. He was African American. I couldn’t get his name because he didn’t say hello or acknowledged us. He just stood quiet we had to ask him to take our order and confirm for him because he didn’t say one word. Not even a yes or sure. He never asked how our food was nor checked in to say if we wanted additional drinks. I had to ask him if can I get another drink. Never in my life did I have to ask for a drink to a waiter. It’s a matter of sales. Your server must always ask would you like another drink when you clearly see a cup empty. I was not going to let this guy ruin the day.
As a Restaurant wouldn’t you want to have a waiter that promotes your food & beverage? It’s a matter of sales. We had him once before but gave him the benefit of the doubt. However this time my sister and I were like «oh no! It’s him
Again». We experienced the same horrible service.
It’s sad to see Blend doesn’t do any kind of training to this employee. I just saw another Unilocaler took a picture of the same guy on his phone. So I am confident it’s not just my perspective. How Many customers is this 1 waiter losing for blend? It’s the question that the Manager should be asking himself.
It’s time to find a new place… If you go

I love blend it really is one of my favorite places to eat, however today our server seemed to be so uninterested and unfriendly. He never really touched our table expect for when our meals came out.
As always I got my favorite dish which is the Pernil, it never disappoints. This place is small so beware on Friday and weekends because they do get packed, so I would recommend making reservations. Every weekday they have a different special for drinks so that’s always cool. Overall, I would recommend coming to blend.

Been here many times, but this time might be the last…
Came for brunch and when we arrived it was empty, as the day went on it got more packed.
Firstly, lipstick on the glassware, then they gave us the wrong drinks. We ordered passion fruit bellini and they gave us mimosas.
Food came, they gave 2 out of the 5 of us food, and it was the wrong order! One order was supposed to have sunny side up, and we got scrambled eggs. The «toast» was just two slices of bread. Not toasted and no butter.
Finally the food arrives and it was not all that great. They got another order wrong, cuban sandwich no pickles and it had pickles. I uploaded a pic of the check where she clearly wrote «no pickles» — and the sausage tasted weird.
To top it all off, they finally gave us the bellini, and tried to take back the mimosa they gave us incorrectly.
5 of us and 20% tip included, we were not happy with the service, but it wouldn’t be removed.
I used to think so highly of this place. Not anymore.
We split the bill, they took the cash and charged a card $ 70 instead of $ 48! I’m glad you got your 20% plus you probably pocketed the cash. NEVER AGAIN.

Came in on a lazy, slow Tuesday. Made the mistake of taking a table rather than the bar. Greeted by server Rupert… Checked in and got my sangria. My gf and I ordered apps– the tacos were nice, flavorful, small soft shells and messy. Mofongo was tasty. Looking for our server for more drinks– couldn’t find him. Another waiter helped us. Waited over 20min for last app to come out. Why so long ?! Cause superstar sever forgot to place that order. How do I know? I asked him after we finished both apps and 2 rounds of drinks. He went to the computer– typed it in, few min later the calamari came out. Be honest and say you forgot! He didn’t. Went to the bar myself to get my own drink. Lousy service on a slow night.

Love love love this place!!! My happy hour spot after work with friends & coworkers! Best frozen margaritas and frozen sangritas for only $ 5/​$ 6 during happy hour everyday from 4 – 7 and $ 4 shots of patron!!! There’s also a discount on burgers and burritos during happy hour!!!

If I were rating this restaurant solely on the food it would have 10 stars. The food was SO good I practically licked my plate, which I never do (in public, anyway.)
We ordered calamari as an appetizer, my fiancé had the churrasco (steak) as an entrée. It was prepared very well, comparable to steakhouse steak. I had the pollo ala plancha (chicken in lemon butter sauce with rice, beans and plantains). Everything tasted great!
I wish this restaurant wasn’t so tiny and packed in. We had a reservation, and still ended up waiting about a half hour to be seated. We waited at the bar, but never got a drink because there was only one bartender mixing for the whole place and every time we asked he said he was too busy. Sidenote: we did get drinks when we were seated, the Lychee martini was good, but the margaritas were just okay. I’m sure the waitress was just as annoyed with me as I was with her, being that she bumped into me about 5x trying to wait on her table of like 10 who was sitting RIGHT next to the bar.
Despite this, I will definitely be back — just for the amazing food!
