Ordered catering this weekend for a holiday event. Everyone raved about the food and kept asking where it was from. One of the highlights was the penne a la vodka, it was creamy and delicious! Well done, Andre’s!

This was good, cheap NYC pizza. We got a plain cheese and took it back to our hotel and ate. I can’t complain. It held up to the expectations of new york pizza. :]

Great pizza. Great Sicilian. Very nice staff. I am very happy to have a good pizzeria close to where I work. The have a big tv and there is always something interesting on, even if it is just random pictures on google chrome cast. They also have a good stereo with good music. They also have a table out side. The only reason I did not rate 5 star is it is a little small.

The pizza took 2 hours longer than they originally said. Half of it was inedible and doughy. Worse than ordinary. The family who owns the pizza place avoided giving my office an itemized receipt for months on end. I haven’t written a Unilocal review in years but had to come out of hiding to call this business out on the bullshit that is their idea of customer service and hospitality. When my assistant said they would never order from them again the man working the phone said«God will punish you for the wrongs that you have done» the pizza and service is so bad it feels like a front for some other kind of illegal operation I don’t see them staying open long.

This is the best pizza I have had in a long time. I had them put together a meat lovers pizza and it was great. It had ham, meatballs, Pepperoni’s, and some sausages. It was out of this world. Great guys helped me put this together and made it great. Give them a try. You’ll be glad you did

Nice local place. Pizza is good although a bit pricey. They do have a good menu and were quite nice. I would certainly use them again.

I can’t rate the food because I never had the food. Why did I never have the food? Because this restaurant decided not to deliver to the projects, AFTER taking the order. Then, I receive a call saying they have made an exception in my case, and the driver is nearby. Then, they call back and say he is at a another crossstreet. THEN, they claim the police told the driver to leave. I call BS. This establishment is unprofessional and I will NEVER order or eat-in at this pizza joint. In the end, I ordered from Vidali’s, which is what I should have done in the 1st place. If you are ordering in, choose another place. I would give Andre’s Pizza 0 stars if I could.

Nothing special and in a very random location(in an industrial area with no other restaurants surrounding it). Went an hour before close, and they were only selling full pies, so I tried again the next day. The slices were okay, but not great. The woman that works there is nice, but the delivery guy just sits in the«dining area» awkwardly.

Nothing fancy about this place but the pizza was good. They made me a fresh pie in a few minutes and it was quite tasty. would go back if I was in the area

Great place to grab a quick meal, especially if you are staying at the Country Inn just around the corner. I had the pepperoni calzone and my hubby has a slice of cheese pizza and we shared mozzarella sticks, everything was good and our total with 2 drinks was only $ 15. Not bad at all, definitely recommend.

Wow the service was great. My bf and I are visiting from Australia and we were both craving pepperoni pizza so came here(like 10 mins before they closed) and the staff were super friendly. We requested for some Chili flakes on our pizza and they put enough Chili to make the pizza just AMAZINGGGGGG… The pizza was so good. Definitely recommend this place for all!

I was in Long Island City for business and decided to sample the local pizza. I ordered a large cheese pizza and some garlic knots from Andre’s and they arrived at my hotel within a half hour. The knots were solid, providing a good garlic taste without being drowned in butter. The pizza was a bit doughy(almost on the undercooked side) but it was tasty enough. Their mozzarella is a little bland but the sauce had a nice flavor to it. Far from the best pizza I’ve had, but not bad. Their prices were surprisingly reasonable for a pizza joint in NYC.

I wasn’t really going to Unilocal this pizzeria since it is now my local pizza spot to get my slice. I had seen this place open when it was just starting out or renovated a year back but never thought to come in because I am loyal to my more recent local pizza spot. But ever since my local pizza spot changed I have been coming to Andre’s lately. Mainly because their pizza is a bit above average. I like their regular slice which has a crisp crust and does have a good pizza dough. The sauce is decent and as I ordered during the day, the mozzarella was a good gooey texture. I once ordered the Sicilian slice an hour before closing and even though it looked a little plastic, when they reheated the Sicilian slice it came out very good actually. The crisp crust also with a airy and not overly thick dough. Not the best regular slice I had nor the best Sicilian slice I had but for what I now consider my local pizza joint, I approve saying that both types are very good. I also noticed calzones and slices with toppings available. The fridge stocks week beverages though: canned sodas(Inka, Sunkist, Coca-Cola), Gatorade and Snapple. The place is small(there’s like a tiny table that may seat two and two other seats facing the wall and slightly outside toward the window if you angle it right). But what it lacks for in size, it does not lack for in dullness. Decorated with random things to look at including the television overhead for the staff to watch. It’s not a prime location but it’s part of my neighborhood, so for having well made pizza and being close by it gets my attention. I’ve had the chance to speak with the guys behind the counter and they seem to be interested in their customers, cool.

Very decent pizza joint. I will say that I find the whole pies to be way tastier than the slices. The pies are even and consistent and have a good amount of sauce and cheese. The single slices are a bit thin and low on the sauce and cheese.

I ordered six pies to be delivered to a park for my son’s birthday. Andre was straightforward, arrived on time(a bit early too), and best of all everyone enjoyed the pizza. I would definitely recommend Andre’s pizza and the delivery.

When you first walk into Andre’s pizzeria, the awesomeness hits your nose with a bouquet of pizza nirvana. But then you see them using some contraption used to cut slices exactly in eighth’s that you only see in lousy, non-New York style pizza places. Don’t let the cutting tool fool you. Andre’s has some of the best pizzeria standards anywhere. First, their neopolitan slices. While not the full 18″ pie slice(16″ pie slices here), the ratio of cheese to sauce to crust was perfect. The crust was as thin as you can get without putting a hole in the pie. The cheese had the right elasticity taste and bubble. The sauce was the right amount to compliment, not cover up, the flavor of the crust and cheese. Truly a beautiful pie(it could use a little more edge crust.) The Sicilian slices were just as good. A crust that wasn’t too thick; it was lighter than most. A perfect amount of cheese and sauce sat atop. I got my slice(purposefully) burnt a little on the bottom. Pizza heaven! To top it off, I also wanted a chicken parm roll but they had none in the display. Andre was able to make one and bake it within 10 minutes. It too was pure pizzeria perfection. And Andre isn’t even Italian! I can’t wait to go back again and again!

Not sure what on-site dining is like here, but delivery is AWFUL! I ordered off of Seamless and asked for my boyfriend’s buffalo chicken to be «as spicy as humanly possible» and ordered it with seasoned curly fries, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots and my cheese calzone. They called about 15 minutes after I hit ‘send’ on my iPhone to inform us that they were out of mozzarella sticks… it’s Friday night, I guess they must be quite popular round these parts. Sadly enough they probably would have been the one redeeming part of our order so it’s unfortunate that they were out :-/. Instead we decided to just double then order of wings and my boy stressed to them very nicely that he wanted them as spicy as possible. 30 minutes later(so I reality 45 minutes since ordering… and we are NOT that far away from them) they arrived with our food decently packed… except the foil that wrapped my calzone wasn’t very tight. Sigh, My cheese calzone was not warm, was rather limp & soggy and barely stuffed with cheese. Pitiful compared to other calzones I’ve had before. The boy’s wings were also pitiful. First off one order was buffalo and the new order(since they were out of mozzarella sticks) was a sweet BBQ type — why would they give us TWODIFFERENT types and why were neither one spicy at all?! Awful, just awful. They were also soggy, the skin was falling off and they weren’t the meatiest wings… could get over that but the lack of spicy? Not cool when we specified what we wanted through our online order and directly via phone. The fries were also not warm, also soggy and pretty meh. Order elsewhere unless you like soggy, not warm or crispy wings, fries or calzones. Can’t imagine that the pizza here would be much better… so disappointing. 2 stars because at least I got to eat something and their garlic knots were pretty decent. Edit on 4÷9÷2014: Pretty sure they made Unilocal knock off one of the photos I uploaded to this review because they claim it falls outside of «content guidelines». Kay. That’s one way to go from a 2 star experience to a 1 star one. I’ll never eat from here again if I can help it. Way too many better options in this neighborhood :).

Decent thin crust pizza in what looks like a former bodega space. Tiny space and pretty much a grab and go but there is a table for two outside and a tiny bar seating three inside. Also serving quick bites like zeppoles, pepper rolls, and beef patties. At $ 1.75 a slice it’s a fair deal and taste in the league of 99c pizza joints. Nothing to go out of your way for but looks like a nice little family run spot. A quick dining option if you’re in this industrial neck of the woods where dining options are extremely limited.
