I love the Long Beach Wahoo’s!!! The food is always fantastic and the employees are so great! Rosio, Wynter and Jaime are the best! Whether I’m picking up takeout or dining in I’m never disappointed :)

5 stars! Hard to go wrong with Wahoo’s. I’ve been to several locations in So Cal and every single one has been great. Always nice people serving it up with love.

Really yummy food! I am a vegetarian, and I loved the tofu toco! My daughter also loved the kid’s quesadilla. Really good salsa. All in all, delicious!

Walked in here with a coworker On our lunch break. I’ve never been here before but she has. I ordered the uptown turkey sandwich. Pretty good. I’d get it again. But there was something missing I wasn’t quite sold yet. Then here comes the manager with a tray of muffing and whoopie pies and offers them to everyone seated down. It was so sweet like it was one of the best gestures I’ve ever encountered! Made my long busy day at work worth it :)

I had to see what the hype was coming from Utah. I wasn’t disappointed. Reasonable prices and good food. I also thought the stickers/skateboards gave it a very So. CA feel. The Food was tasty! I’d come back.

Man I never knew how busy it was here on a saturday. I was there for lunch with my Co worker and we were kind of shock to see how busy the place was. But the good thing, we get our food in a decent time. No matter how busy they were, the service was good and friendly. I ordered the screaming burrito. Man oh man it was good. The mushroom in it made the flavor stand out a little more. The hot sauce, wasn’t spicy or hot at all bu that’s ok. The burrito itself was like 7 bucks. But it will worth it.

The last time I had Wahoo’s was almost more than 5 years ago! I happen to get a gift card from a coworker so I decided to revisit the great tasting food! What I love about this place is the choice of protein you can select. You can order either chicken, carnitas, carne asada, fish, shrimp, and tofu. I started out with the outer reef burrito with carne asada + guacamole & sour cream(+$ 1.00). Came out quick and the tortilla was was crispy, yet soft. There are many other menu items like tacos and bowls. Gotta try those out for future visits!

I love Wahoo’s! My favorite is the one on Main St. Huntington Beach, my hometown, but all other Wahoo’s, I’m a fan of. I honestly don’t think they’ll ever be as good as HB, but good nonetheless. I ordered my usual, Cajun fish entreé and it was alright. I really like Cajun fish so it’s always going to taste good to me, but they made it a tad bit too dry… way too dry. I mean I know it’s Cajun, but come on! Leave the poor fish some flavor and moistness! Apparently the plate wasn’t big enough to fill my boyfriend… but he’s a fan now! Perks of this Wahoos: you can bring your pet!

Temperature of the food was inconsistent. The rice was room temperature. The beans were hot and the tacos barely warm. The lettuce on my tacos tasted like grass. I had to look for the cheese. I won’t be back.

We hadn’t been to a Wahoo’s in a very long time when we decided to go try it again. First, I have to say this location is VERY fast — from the time we ordered to the time we had our food was less than 5 minutes. Very impressive. It was not overly crowded, however still pretty impressive. Food was good — we really couldnt remember what the tacos tasted like, and I do think it’s slightly different from what I remember — but it was good. Price was great for what you got — we were both VERY full after eating. I got a one taco combo(about $ 5 which is crazy) with fish, black beans, and white rice. We also decided to try chips and guac. All food was good and better yet, the staff was actually pretty attentive even though its a counter service place. Three, yes THREE, different waiters came to check on us to make sure the food was good and we were okay. Overall, I would go again when we need quick, healthy food!

I hate to do this, I love Wahoos but my husband and I split the fish bowl for lunch on 6÷23÷15 at this location and I am only now well enough to write this review due to horrible food poisoning. I just want to make sure the staff is going to be more careful with food handling so that no one else gets hurt. …just noticed that David C. got some of that fish the next day so beware especially this week…

Just had the worst fish tacos. Paid $ 13 dollars and the cookie was shrink-wrapped and stale. I won’t be back. It just got worse… Just spent 30 minutes on toilet bad fish!

I love Wahoo’s…but not this Wahoo’s. The staff really doesn’t care and it shines through. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the new Shredder Sandwich with blackened chicken. It has fresh avocado, citrus slaw, blackened chicken and cheese all on a grilled bun. The sandwich was delicious. We also ordered the steak taquitos… which were served burnt. How do you look at a plate of burnt taquitos and choose to put them on someone’s table? Another person came by to check on how we were doing… he looked down and saw the burnt taquitos and said nothing. It was so weird. I think we will stick to the Huntington Beach Wahoo’s on Warner.

Been coming to Wahoo’s since they opened in 1988 and have me er had a bad meal. My go to grub is the spicy chicken bowl with black beans and white rice.

Wahoo’s food is fresh, delicious and they sell cold beer… gotta love having a nice cold beer with some yummy for your tummy food! We have dined here several times and never been disappointed. What I absolutely love is the fact that you can mix and match the style of rice and beans that you want with any type of protein that they offer. My absolute fav is the Kalua Pig with White Rice and Cajun White beans… the Kalua Pig has a nice sweet but not too sweet of a taste and then mix that with the little hint of spicy Cajun beans and then wash it down with a nice cold Modelo… pure happiness. I’m starting to crave it again as I write this review. Everything that we have ever ordered from multiple locations has been fantastic… it suites our entire family perfect. Our son even will ask for Wahoo’s and it music to my ears! My husband is the brave one and will always order something different each time to try something new and he has not yet once complained. As for me, once I find my fav I usually stick to it… heck, there is no point of messing up a good thing, especially since I can always try some of my husband’s food. So basically, you need to just eat here and have a nice cold beer. You will not be disappointed!

Our fam loves Wahoo’s. More specifically, my husband LOVES Wahoo’s. He would come here every night if given the opportunity. As it is we’re here once a week. The food is on such a higher level than standard fast food. It doesn’t taste as processed, and the quality is better. The employees at all the Wahoo’s that we’ve been to are usually great, but the staff at this particular location are outstanding. We’re there so often that the employees know us and our usual orders. Jaime, Rocio, Nelson, and Wynter are always super welcoming and kind whenever we come in. We had a large group come in once and we called ahead and they made sure the entire patio seating area was reserved for us. They always go above and beyond. Everything I’ve tried here is good. My usuals are the teriyaki fish tacos, Wahoo’s bowl with teriyaki steak, and their new salmon plate. All their plates are served with rice(choice of white or brown) and beans(black or cajun white). Their chips and salsa are great too, as are the beer battered Maui onion rings. Tips: If you buy one of their large plastic cups, bring it in the next time and you can get a refill for only 50 cents(not positive on the exact price, but it’s cheaper than if you bought a regular fountain drink). If you like your food spicy, ask for a side of Mr. Lee’s sauce — their own chili sauce that has lots of good flavor while still packing serious heat.

First, I have to say that the service here is phenomenal. The employees are so helpful, friendly, and attentive, and that means a lot coming from a place that is pretty much just fast food. The food is, also, delicious, and I love their salsa with the chunks of tomatoes. It’s my favorite! This visit, I ordered chicken tacos and rice(no beans), and my boyfriend ordered a burrito. We split chips and salsa. We were not disappointed, and the employee who brought out our food even brought us extra salsa. Overall, I give this place five stars, and I am going to visit again.

Sticker shock! No, we didn’t need to wait for the bill to get shocked, it surrounds you here. After eyeing through walls of stickers, we made out the menu and placed our order. For a first-timer, and after ensuring their tacos wouldn’t be crammed with yucky tilapia, I was impressed, impressed enough to mimic Adam Sandler’s «Not too shabby» line from his one«hit» song. Mahi-Mahi or wahoo, the choice of fish is yours, cooked flaky light and garnished up with some slaw, cilantro and seasoning in a taco shell with a choice of rice and beans and we went home satisfied. Satisfied enough to call in another visit after a paddle on the ocean. We may even plaster some much-needed stickers to these not-so-barren walls. The bill, unlike these walls, didn’t result in a surprised sticker shock. What WAS shocking was my partner saying he loves tilapia. That was shocking.
