Visiting l. a and heard this place has delicious coffee. But we walked in with absolutely no room to stand and had to squeeze our way through to the line where the lady wouldn’t acknowledge us until she was off the phone. Order our drinks(ice coffee, hazelnut ice coffee, and decaf nonfat latte) I wait 10 minutes and finally get the first drink, a SIMPLE plain ice coffee. A girl who came in after me who ordered 3 drinks got hers in a heartbeat while I’m standing in a small corner patiently waiting for my drinks. The fact that someone before me got their drinks before me and everyone else got theirs in about 2 minutes while I had to wait 15 minutes is a joke. My friend who ordered the latte also said she felt jittery and believes they did not give her decaf.

This place has really turned things around. I go here at lease 5 times a week, the old staff is no longer there, but the new staff rocks. I go outta my way just to order a coffee from this place even if I have to drive across town. Always makes my coffee prefect and I’m a picky coffee guy, temp, right amount of milk etc. They go out of there way here makes others places inferior

I’m not much of a tea drinker, but come winter I am all about it and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is all about it all year long. As a Starbucks fiend who just drinks coffee — no mochas, or chais, or lattes, the menu at CB&TL proves to be a little bit overwhelming. It always takes me a minute to order, but the baristas here are super patient and just chuckle a bit when I struggle. This place is pretty cozy, with a couple of tables set up inside and a few outside. It is a great place to people watch. The main reason it doesn’t get a FIVE star rating is because there are no bathrooms at this location. Enjoy!

the baristas here are super nice and friendly and didn’t give me a dirty look when i asked for soy milk like i get whenever i go to Starbucks. Plus their lattes and tea lattes taste so much better!(sometimes its a little too sweet so i make sure to ask for unsweetened.)

Waited 20 minutes for a simple ice tea. Others who came after were receiving their drinks before me. I asked the manager three times whether the drink was done yet and she kept saying«no.» Turns out they left the drink on the back counter. Manager was unapologetic and rude. She refunded me but threw the receipt into my hands.

I came here late this afternoon and I ordered an ice tea black, fruit ice tea. The drink had plenty of ice, and it was blended perfect, strong black ice tea with nice subtle fruity/floral taste. I ordered the iced Malibu blend drink for my mom which she enjoyed. The cashier, a young lady who was friendly, smiling and polite answering my questions about the drinks. I will stop in here for ice tea on the go when I am in Marina Pacifica. Thank you for the great service!

My husband ordered my drink«iced white mocha.» They handed him a blended mocha. I returned it and said, this isn’t what we ordered and it’s very sweet. I tried initially to just drink it and not complain. The barista said«we will make your drink again and would you like half the powder?» I said sure. I falsely assumes that an iced white mocha with half the powder would still taste like white mocha. They made the drink and it was extremely bitter. Basically tasted like an iced Americans with cream and no sugar. Went from one extreme to the other. Super sweet to no sweetness. I felt bad asking for another re-do but then I noticed that the«powder» was clumping at the top. Had to ask for a refund. Not sure if the baristas were just having an off day but this is not my first bad experience at this location. And they were not busy at all. There was only one other customer there.

Good coffee, but I can’t study here due to the lack of public restrooms. I don’t understand how people can study here for more than 2 hours without access to restrooms. Maybe my bladder is just small. I always get an iced Americano when I want to get a drink on the go. Or, I’ll stop by here for coffee if I am waiting to be called for a table at Nick’s.

Smallest Coffee Bean location I’ve been to, few sitting areas, and no bathrooms. Otherwise, nice location, view of 2nd street activity, good drinks, and nice atmosphere. Small outside patio is nice to sip coffee and people watch.

They made a good earl grey tea latte. Note that I didn’t ask for a London Fog, however, they knew what I was asking for. Prices were very decent. Decent amount of seating and the customer service was good.

This place has SUCHGOOD Ethiopian food. I felt as if I was in Addis Ababa. Just kidding. Unilocal, exercise some quality control. Why is a coffee shop coming up when I type«Ethiopian food» into the search bar?!

Great place and super friendly staff. The inside is very tight and small. They don’t have a public restroom. So this is NOT the most ideal place to bring your laptop to work. That is a major bummer because everything else is great!

I hate ordering coffee. I guess you could say I’m a bit of an amateur mainly because too much caffeine during the day disrupts my sleep at night so I try to moderate. However, there are late nights with early mornings that sometimes calls for such. So, do I ask for an ultimate extreme iced coffee, Americana, or a choco-laté? I don’t know what the hell any of that means and these guys can tell but they don’t make me try to use their lingo or make me feel stupid about it. The baristas are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. For someone who tries not to drink too much coffee but somehow ends up being a regular here, I like this place.

These barista are ace! I stopped in fiending for my Winter Dreams tea mix. I asked what«your favorite tea» was. I had the cashier explain to me his ideal hot tea. Way to go corporate CB&TL. Can you explain your menu items to your employees?!! I mean, I could get to know every barista personally if that was your aim… The two baristas/cashiers were super sweet, funny, and personable. These guys actually created a custom blend for me, to get as close to my beloved Winter Dreams tea. Thank you! *I wish I knew their names, I’d put them here*

Miniature CBTL. Same great menu and drinks– full sized on both– but super tiny inside otherwise, and no restrooms.
