The Children’s Place

If I could give this location, manager Kristina and corporate zero stars I would but it made me select at least one…
I will never shop here again. We wanted to exchange a different size same item dress with our tag still on it just like their «policy» says and Kristina said no that it wasn’t exactly the same dress when clearly if you weren’t blind you could see it was. She was so rude. She looked like she was having a bad day giving all customers bad looks as they walked in she didn’t even greet us I had to walk up to her and ask if we could have help. She was all quiet when I told her off. My husband who never raises his voice even got upset… She was horrible she went and hid in the back room when I asked to speak to someone higher than her. I shop there all the time but after yesterday it ends. Some small girl walked out and all scared gave me their corporate information it was a joke. I pleaded with her to just let us exchange for a smaller size and she said no that Kristina said no she has to say no. We called the children’s place corporate customer service number right away and someone who couldn’t even speak English answered and my husband had to hang up and call again to talk to someone else because the guy couldn’t even understand. They have people answering calls in other country’s but go about how their customer service will never let anyone down. Ha! No one will ever shop their in belmont shores again. I have lived here and shopped there for years they didn’t know I’m also a business owner on this street and being apart of the business association you bet this will be spread through the neighborhood. Oh point of the story is we couldn’t get a different size even went to corporate so please go elsewhere, the clothes are cheap yea that’s the one star for ya but the way they treat their people suck.

I like this store compared to the ones I’ve been to at malls. This one is far bigger, which means that there’s more items! YAY! Plus, it’s usually not too busy, so it’s not too hard to get an employee’s attention if needed.
I’ve been to this location numerous times. My review is based on today’s experience, which was awesome. I had lunch down the street and wanted to stop by to look at baby clothes. I saw a sign for an additional 50% off clearance items… Woot! Woot! I bought a pair of boat shoes, a onesie, and two t-​shirts for $ 20! I know!!! That’s so awesome, right?! I couldn’t believe it either!
I love their selection of clothes, and I will (for sure) shop here as my baby gets older.
The employee ringing us up was nice, too. That always helps.

After eating dinner we stopped by to pick up a gift for a baby shower. Unlike many other children’s stores, this one was clean and organized with fabulous prices. This will be my go-​to store for children’s gifts from now on – no more overpriced Gymboree store.

They keep their store clean and organized AND there is always a great deal to be had!

I am always happy shopping at this store. Not only is it one of the few places to shop in the shore with convenient parking, but the selection is always good too. I have been shopping here for my daughter since she was two, and the styles are always something she’s into. They have really good sales, and the employees are always helpful and pleasant. In fact, when we went there for school clothes recently, the cashier overheard me tell my daughter that we would need to go online to order the rest of her polos. He asked if they didn’t have the right sizes available? I said we just didn’t see the colors we wanted and I knew they were available online. He offered free shipping for the inconvenience. I love this place!

Great place that closes early, I don’t get it.

I love walking around Belmont Shore and shopping! I stumbled upon this store during the holiday season. They had a great sale going on at the time… Children’s Rugby Sweaters for only $ 5.00!!! They made great presents for my nephews and nieces! The staff was very helpful and kind! They even gave me gift boxes!
I’ve been to a couple of other Children’s Place stores, and the staff was rude! So now I prefer to go to only this location!
Parking is a bit more difficult than it is at the mall. You have to either find parking on the main street where it’s metered, or down one of the residential streets. They are located near Frosted Cupcakery… so be sure to grab a cupcake while you’re there!

This location seems so different compared to the mall:
1. Better selection.
2. Better sales.
3. More friendly and helpful associates. They totally give you attention!
When this place has a sale, it is the place to be!
Parking sucks. Good luck at the meters on the weekend. They do have free parking in the back, but it’s always full.
Bonus.stop by next door and get some cupcakes. delicious!
PS. Five Stars is Macy’s Kids Section during a sale… my opinion.

I got my little niece, Gabby, two pairs of dirt cheap jeans for her birthday. They were 2 for about $ 30 including tax. I also got her a cute little jacket that was also moderately priced and a pair of shoes. No place has quality and is cheap. None. Perfect outfits for your a cute fashion forward kid.

The childrens place has great quality clothes, at great prices. The only negative about the place they really dont carry much for boys.90% of the place is for girls. so only 4 stars no boys clothes

This is a very good place to buy kid’s clothes. They’re cute and current without being outrageously priced. There’s a lot to choose from, and they have great sales too. It always blows my mind when I come across kid’s clothes or shoes that cost more than MY clothes. Look, the kid is going to grow out of it in a month or so. Why pay $ 50 for a shirt he’s going to wear twice? I usually buy my nieces and nephews stuff from here, or from Target of course.
