Tacos El Toro De Long Beach

Thank you King Taco for your long ass lines and extra rude service for making me discover this little gem. Their tacos, tortas, burritos and pretty much everything is so freaking good. Their hot sauce is so spicy, which, I love and to top it off their customer service is exceptional! Highly recommend it if your tired of King Tacos bs!

Everything here is AMAZING! The salsa verde is on point! Their sopes, flautas and super nachos are a MUST try. Their carnitas is literally the best I’ve ever had. The staff are all so genuine and happy ALL the time! I love this place. It is our go to Mexican spot in Long Beach.

I don’t know if they have changed management the food is ok, it’s not something that I desire or get cravings for because the food seems is made the same way you can order a gordita, tacos or a dope and all that changed is the doughy receptacle, the salsa is neither spicy or very appetizing I’d say a tad mediocre it tastes like a couple of tomatoes where put in a blender with maybe too little onion or none and a chile or two, no salt or other accoutrement. I give it two stars because the attendant seems nice and maybe all this place needs is a couple of tweaks to make it crave-​able. The old owner used to constantly check up on his customers about how the food was and was willing to take suggestions, try would give chips and salsa with every order and the salsas used to be better.

They were the sweetest people, and their huaraches are ON POINT. Highly recommend trying it out.

Love this place, food is good and nice portion size. Parking sucks and they close early on Sundays. Other then that the food is really good and prices are good. Love the burritos and the California fries!!!

First time coming to El Toro de Long Beach and I must say it was pretty good. I had the Cheese Enchiladas with rice and beans plate; my husband had the Carnitas Wet Burrito. The Cashier/​Server was beyond awesome, on top of her game. Loved it!

Great service. Suburb fish tacos! Serving rare mulitas all day! Quality food. Not too greasy. Great atmosphere with the music and soccer games on t.v.

This place look likes an authentic Mexican place, feels authentic, but unfortunately it falls short with the food… There’s hardly any meat in the burritos and it seems like they raised the prices from the last time I was hear. Overall OK spot.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants. Quick service amazing food. I think I’ve had at least one of everything on the menu and it’s amazing. The sopes I could eat a million of.

I don’t usually eat at Mexican restaurant but if I do. I come here. I devour the 3 carne esa da tacos and lick the plate clean.

I really love this resturant I have no problem with the food. I think they are very nice workers there. I don’t know why people gave it 1 star. they are just dumb people who don’t have any palette.

I love their al pastor! if you are not used to hole in the wall Mexican places, then this place is not for you. it isn’t a cronic taco, chipotle, wahoo type of place. It’s more authentic and it’s the best Mexican place on Pacific Avenue in the Wrigs.

I wish I could give it less… I had a meeting in this area and the reviews were OK so I thought I’d try it out. Not only did I get ill after lunch but the staff was very rude and assumed I didn’t speak Spanish. During the entire meal they were talking about me and my co worker. If you want bad Mexican food, indigestion, and bad service go here.

I absolutely love this place! The food is so good (and cheap!). I almost want to keep it a secret so that they don’t jack up the prices! The staff is so amazing and accomodating. I have been working my way thru the menu (I live around the corner, yay!) and they deliver! I eat here at least once a week if not more. xo El Toro!!!

Ate here for the first time today. Was disappointed in the quality and flavor of food… there was no freshness at all. Even the salsa was just EH.
I ordered an asada burrito and a chicken and chorizo taco and the waitress had to take my order 3 times.
All the food was cold by the time I got home (I live 3 blocks away) so I doubt it was very hot to begin with.
The burrito was horrible. Old tortilla, old or under cooked rice, meat was very fatty with little flavor. Tacos were ok… Chicken was dry with crunchy bits.
Half of the burrito and half of a taco ended up in the trash. All in all the prices are cheap but you get what you pay for.

I love the food and the service. The tortas and burrito mojado are delicious! The horchata and piña agua fresca are refreshing and good. I recommend going or getting delivery. Either way, you will get great service. Family owned restaurant!

$ 5 burritos includes a drink and tax. Can’t beat that! Mexico City style Mexican food (so I was told), whatever the style the taco was mucho flavorful. I ordered the legua burrito and the flavor of the sauce used was just dreamy. The filling, I thought, had too much beans and not enough meat and rice, but did I say how good the flavor was? The Jamaica was spot on, great flavor of hibiscus not overpoweringly sweet.
The owner said they’ve been opened about 5 months and to come back for their Huarache.
Next time? Huarache unless I get there on a Friday, then it will menudo!

i like this place for late night run and the fact that they deliver is a place iv been here enough that the owner knows me when i call to order and when i go in. Very nice people i have had the asada torta, the asada tacos, carnitas tacos, asada nachos the rice and beans, and the carnitas burrito and the arroz con leche. The carnitas tacos are my personal favorites and the tortas are the best on a good night the only reason why im not giving a 5 star rating is because there food is not consistant sometimes its like the first day i ate there and other days its not. But overall you cant go wrong with the tacos.
