We normally come here weekly. However, that will end after today as I am tired of the«Sandwich Artist» not handling my food safely. Aren’t the gloves used by the sandwich artists there to protect the food they are preparing? I continually experience the counter staff returning from the back wearing the food prep gloves and then proceed preparing someone’s sandwich. In the past I have asked the food preparer to change gloves, but I am getting tired of this. I have stopped leaving a tip when this happens. I am at the point of trying another restaurant chain to see how they protect and maintain prepared food integrity. Training is key to this. The gloves are there to protect and maintain the food safety of the customer, not to keep the hands of the counter staff less messy. Yvonne at this Subway is very lax in maintaining food safety. She needs to be counseled on the protocol.

I come to this location alot. it’s like 3 minutes from my work. Well I got my breakfast sandwich like normal and asked to microwave instead of toasted. They refused said it would crack then said it would be soggy. Thought this is where we have it our way?! So i told them never mind I’ll do it my self. Pretty sure I won’t be coming back.

I received a stale cookie and they wouldn’t replace it since I had taken a bite from it. This is not a very nice thing.

I was there this morning to get my usual breakfast sandwich and coffee special. But I usually always add a chicken breast and they charge me more. Witch is completely fine I always pay more for extra meat. The guy who made my sandwich was quiet and looked pissed off! That’s cool none of my business he was having a bad day! But then they were trying to charge me for the coffee that comes with the breakfast special. So I just took my sandwich and left. Not going to argue over a coffee. But I won’t be going to the subway anymore!

I’ve only been here a couple times. This location is okay, and the workers were friendly enough, but I feel like they weren’t too pleased with my sandwich requests. I asked to swap the ham in the BMT for turkey, and they said they needed to charge me extra. I order this alllllll the time at other locations(it’s the kid’s favorite) and no one else ever charges extra. I agreed, since I’m not going to fight anyone over $ 1.25, but probably won’t come here again. I thought it was especially weird since it’s «Janu-any» and pretty much any footlong is $ 5. I’d rather not pay $ 6.25 for my $ 5 sandwich. It’s ok… there are other more accommodating locations nearby.

I find sandwiches to be pretty much the same at all Subways but what sets this one apart is the very friendly service. Thank you, sandwich artists, for being so nice!

I ate here for lunch for 2 days in a row because I had a conference a few blocks away. It is a small Subway with tight parking(I had a moped parked behind me and I had to manuever around it to get out without hitting it). They have the $ 4 lunch specials which were right up my alley. There is great music playing and the employees were smiling and friendly; a great atmosphere to enjoy during lunch.

This Subway is located on the corner of Cherry Ave and Wardlow Ave in the city of Long Beach. Its situated in a little strip mall with about 5 other shops so you have to approach it from the right direction or it can be a little tricky getting too. Parking isn’t to bad here and they have these strange extra sideways parking spots that kind of trip me out but I usually find one of them empty and that’s where I end up parking. I grabbed a $ 5 foot long sub called the Cold Cut Footlong. I am truly amazed that Subway has been able to stay at these prices for this long. Sure they have moved a few things off the $ 5 menu but for the most part it stayed the same. I did however read something this week that Subway can no longer continue the $ 5 promo in the city of San Francisco and that is a shame. It has been reported that they stopped it because of a minimum wage increase. I think that is stupid. Subway has branded the $ 5 footlong for so long and they did such a good job at it that I would keep it going in every store period. I mean how much could they possibly be loosing anyway? Wow I got pretty side tracked there. Anyway the Cold Cut Footlong is $ 5 out the door with tax and can easily be split into two meals. I like to eat one half for lunch and bring the rest home for dinner.

This subway is right by my house and I come in here at least once a month for lunch. It’s always packed so expect to have to wait in at least a short line to order. The bread and veggies are always fresh, they give you a ton of spinach(if you ask for it) and I don’t think that I have ever had a sandwich here that was«messed up» or missing anything. Some times I want something fancy for lunch, but some times I am just HUNGRY and need to eat fast(but want it to be healthy) and that’s when I come here. Easy, fast, cheap, and convienent! They also make small, cute kids’ sandwiches that come with a little bag, a drink, apple slices, and a very small toy. The people that work here are very patient with my indecisive little diva and they are happy to wait for her to make up her mind — lol. Every once in a while, I will go in here to eat and someone behind the counter comes around with a basket of mints and asks if you would like a mint for after you are done with your sandwich! Really? At a Subway? Yes, really.
I go here pretty much every other day for lunch. The guys(and girls!) that work here are really good at what they do. Service is pretty much on par with most subways, but they don’t just throw together your sandwich like they’re in a hurry like most places to. They’ve messed up in charging me in the past but they didn’t argue with me or anything just offered me a refund which is how things are supposed to be handled! All in all I would have to recommend this place especially if you’re looking for something quick for lunch but dont want to feel the guilt of fantastic burger.

Can’t beat the $ 5 foot longs! I’ve been a subway goer for the longest time. 9 out of 10 times, I’ll order the black forrest ham foot long on herb and cheese bread, toasted. It always does the trick and can be split into 2 meals if you’re on a budget or a diet, I guess. Although I do think that Subway falls short of Quizno’s and pales in comparison to Panera, their cheap prices, reliability, and convenient locations keeps their competitive edge afloat. And that is why I will stay a loyal Subway customer until another decent sandwich shop starts a $ 4 foot long deal.
