This location seems to discriminate with who they treat well, who they ignore. The guy "Mongo" is not management materiel, in my opinion. Always chatting up the staff & talking negative about customers. Too many "sorry" we are backed up right now. Frequently out of product when other locations have full stock? He is always stacking crates on top of tables? Do you not want repeat customers?

This location is blocking tables @ 3:00pm? It is a small location & seating is already limited. I notice this has begun with a new male manager (since COVID). Seems to happen after the morning manager, Jo ends her shift. Obviously they are trying to limit squatters, but some of us charge up, purchase merchandise & work on our computers. Negative Vibes. If you want your customers to go elsewhere then this is a good start.

This used to be my favorite location and sadly there aren’t any other stores close enough or I’d stop coming here altogether. The service is beyond terrible. No smiles just stress and no concern to get the food and drinks out timely. They will frequently just skip you and help the next person and you have to remind them they skipped you. The wait times have doubled or tripled whether there is a line or not and pray you don’t get someone new. Which most of the staff seems new and they certainly don’t care about your experience there. So sad… they used to make my day and now I try to avoid them at all costs. Get it together Starbucks!!!

If I could I would rate it negative one. Unfortunately the drinks were over sweetened. It was too late to go back and complain because by the time I actually tried my drink I was far. If you don’t know the recipe then you shouldn’t be working behind the bar. I payed for good coffee and unfortunately I feel like my money wasn’t worth it.

Terrible service!!! I place a mobile order almost every morning here. I order prior to getting off the freeway that way I can arrive and just pick up and go. Today, I arrived and it wasn’t ready my venti cup was siting there. The sticker was printed at 8:14am and I walked out at 8:25. That is way too long to wait for a mobile order. The barista was taking her sweet time walking around chit chatting with co-workers, not giving a care about all the customers waiting. I got to spell late today which defeats the entire purpose of using the mobile app. Aside from this my coffee is never filled to the top. This store is horrible. I wish it wasn’t the closest to my job.

This is my fave Starbucks store, the staff is friendlier than some of the other local Starbucks, and they will make whatever drink right, if it’s not up to the Customers Standards. Makeo(which is probably misspelled, sorry!) is the nicest Barista & very personable. He’s also been there for a while & I appreciate that fact. It does get busy, but we all need to practice a lil patience nowadays… Love Me Starbucks!

Ordered the Caramelized Honey Frappuccino and it tasted great! You can really taste the caramel which is what I waned. However, I wanted to order the Strawberry Acai Refresher but they ran out. That was a bit disappointing. We also ordered two sandwiches: Ancho Chipotle Chicken and BBQ Beef Brisket on Sourdough. The Ancho Chipotle Chicken was the more flavorful tasting of the two but for a little over $ 6, it’s not worth it. The BBQ Beef Brisket on Sourdough was disappointing and for a little over $ 4 is also not worth it. You’re much better off going to a Subway or other sandwich shops. What was frustrating was that my bf’s debit card did not work and was a chip one. The cashier did not know what was going on or how to fix it. I paid with my credit card instead. Turns out that Bank of the West debit cards do not work at Starbucks. Just an FYI for anyone with that bank.

I do have to wait longer because they’re small but Wow I look forward to my Mocha light frappucino, add shot, protein and light whip. They are ALWAYS pleasant! Probably the best Starbucks I go to and I go to Starbucks a lot. Parking sucks sometimes because it’$inside Von’s.

I love the staff at this location, as a former partner(different location) I can tell you drinks are made consistently well and if there’s an issue they are quick to fix it. There is one closer and newer but the staff does not compare to this location so I go out of my way just to see, Rene, Rico and the whole staff.

This is by far the worst Starbucks ever! I had the worst experience here during the month of December 2015. I wanted to try the holiday drinks and a few others did too. So I went to this Starbucks to place a to-go order. I walked in and the music was so loud! Omg… it was like a night club in there! Ridiculous. There were only a few people in line, so I wait to order. When I made my order, the lady was too busy to pay attention to what I was ordering. She was having a conversation with some other Starbucks employee about something going on in her personal life. Ummmm, none of the customers in this store care about your personal life. We all want to pay for our drinks and get the heck out of here. So I’m halfway through making my order and she asks me for my name. I told her that I was not finished ordering yet, and she immediately got an attitude with me saying that«that’s not how it works» and«I need your name anyway» and«I know that» complete with eye rolling to top it off. Ok, lady. You need to learn customer service skills. Anyway, once I finally complete my order and I’m waiting for my drinks, the whole experience gets worse. The barista who is making the drinks is talking to a group of 3 girls who she obviously knows — I’m thinking they must be her friends. Anyway, she was so engrossed in her conversation with these girls that she completely butchered my 2 frappuccinos. They tasted terrible. Like watered down mixed with mocha flavoring. Tons of ice chunks and just terrible. I didn’t even drink half of it. The whole experience was just awful. Meanwhile all this is happening, the music is so loud that I’m getting a headache and not a single employee had a name tag on so I have no idea who was working here that day! Completely unprofessional.

So impolite this morning, had to redo my friend and my drink as well, no communication between the team ? When my friend asked her something about the drink she walked away ! She redid my friends drink it was fine she redid my drink I still don’t think it’s black tea but with her morning mood I didn’t want to be a bitch and ask her again. I told her«thanks for being polite this morning» she said thank you, I told her it was sarcasm, we walked away then the other girl went to see the cashier guy and laugh about the situation. I tend to prefer this location over others, partly for the convenience of location but the baristas are wonderful ! Starbucks, being a chain, is pretty dependable as a coffee shop. So quality in coffee is consistent! Also if you’re looking for a place to study, this location has a decent amount of tables, I think 7 indoors? And about 4 outdoors. And most indoor tables have a nearby outlet-always a bonus! But I love coming here because the baristas make you feel welcome! Renee is hilarious and makes you feel great when you leave. She has a great memory for faces a people and she’s super warm and friendly! Makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. Sy I think is a recent addition to the team but he made a wonderful recommendation to me: iced coffee sweetened with half vanilla and half toffee nut with breve. And he’s also really friendly every time I come in. 4 stars just for the people.

OMG the barista that greeted me and took my order was so welcoming! Bailey had the cutest smile and was all bubbly with her«good morning!» Exactly how one should be greeted! She was friendly, yet also quick to take my order to keep the line moving along. My coffee and breakfast sandwich came out in a reasonably quick time! I’m impressed!

I have been coming to this location for years, and its always a hit or miss. But lately its been a miss! i havent complained yet, but today I had it! I am so tired of their mediocre service and quality of food. I ordered a croissant and the quality of it was cheap, for the price they charge it should be bigger fluffier and tastey, instead I got a small cheap flakeless imitation crapissant. Now onto my drink review: My white chocolate mocha taste like crap, no sweetness what so ever! If i wanted a bitter coffee drink, i would of purchased a regular mocha! So again thank you starbucks for reminding me of how over rated and stingy you are. I will have to look into mom and pops local business to support. #Nomoregreedychains

What a cool and convenient location! I liked how organized and clean they are over here. I say that this place is convenient because it is not too far from my friend’s home and there is a Chase bank near it, too. It is next to a sandwich shop, as well. I wish I still live in the Long Beach area. Oh the days!
