Located on the corner of willow and Santa Fe Popeyes is a good chicken place for it has a lot of good food their prices are very very reasonable and they don’t charge a lot and they give you good chicken if you going to eat anything come by here

THE FOOD is good sometimes great.
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE is horrible, the staff really acts like the don’t care about the establishment they work for or their jobs. This just highlights the poor management found in almost almost all Popeyes in the greater LA area. However, do not just take my word for it. I encourage you to check their profiles on Unilocal,although, you may it to be a sad reality.

They NEVER have honey. Who the fuck doesn’t have honey at a Popeyes … Every time we come they don’t have honey

So I spend over $ 11 bucks on a 5 peice meal and they only want to give me 2 sauces, evrey single popeyes they hook it up… food was typical but I’m sick of places charging for sauce when u spend a decent amount for lunch… not coming back to this one

10 pieces off $ 6.99! My daughter loves their chicken, husband finished their Cajun rice and I love their mashed potatoes. The cashier was very nice and friendly. We will definitely come back!!!

Fuck this place, if it had a zero star I would give it here and fuck the bitch with the tattoo on her neck. I ask i can get Tatar sauces and cocktail sauce and that bitch with the tattoo on her next said yes and when I got home there was no sauce and I order the fish and shrimp plate. fuck this place I rather go the the 10^st location better service and they give u what u ask for

First the chicken: the best chicken in all fried chicken, foshu! Lol
Second the service: horrible. Workers are not happy. They take your order like that of a robot, no smiles, no engagement with the guests. They act like it’s such a bother for people to come in and buy their fried chicken. And it seems that every new employee are of the same disposition. Maybe they should hire another person who’ll be in charge of hiring. The one doing it now seems not to know what to look for!

GROSSS! Don’t do it unless you are starving to death! The service was horrible. I was in there for no more then 5 minutes waiting in line to order and in that time I saw 4 incorrect orders go out to angry customers. Granted this is a fast food joint it still should never be that bad. The icing on the cake, the girl who was in behind the window in the kitchen was sick and was handling every order before coming out. No gloves, no hair net, nothing. just grabbing food with her hands after I watched her sneeze. So disgusted. I didn’t even eat my food once I got back to work. I guess I shouldn’t expect anything more from a fast food chicken joint in a not so good area. 0 management btw. Unless the manager was the one sneezing. yeah I won’t be going back ever again.

Decided to give it another try since Im craving for fry chicken… what a difference compare to last time I came here… today around 245pm I came in, the service, place and all the employee was really nice. if it stays like this .ill be here more often. thanks guys

I only give this establishment three stars for the customer service if this was only about customer service I would have given it a 5. The food was terrible. The macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes tasted really nasty. I never really go to Popeyes Chicken Kentucky Fried Chicken any chicken place but I decided to try it and man I should have stuck with what I knew.

Food is pretty good. It has been a long time for me to try Popeyes Chicken. I liked it!

Out of all the fried chicken restaurants this is my absolute favorite. You can just be driving down Santa Fe when you get that smell and OMG your mouth starts watering.
PROS:
— The restaurant is clean
— There’s plenty of space
— Love the new décor
— Limited parking, but you will always find a spot
CONS:
— Waiting time (lengthy for a family size order, but rather fast for single meals)
— As of recent it is hot a mother****** in there, feels like you’re in a sauna
Overall, it is one of my favorite restaurants in the westside. I give it 5 stars because despite the cons, they never seize to disappoint with the great taste of their chicken.

Honestly, though, this was my first visit in months. I saw one stinkin’ Popeyes commercial in the morning before going to work, (yes, in the morning, really), and after that, it was on like Donkey Kong. Just couldn’t get that Spicey Mixed white meat /​dark meat 3 piece combo out of my mind. Throw in some red beans and rice and diet coke, (ironic huh, given the cholesterol laden deliciousness that is Popeyes chicken skin), and all is good in the hood.
Never did tell the wife about this particular lunchtime visit, tho I suppose she knows now!!! Whoops… There goes the blood pressure. Nonetheless, I love Popeyes… Always have and always will. A true guilty pleasure, even if it’s only twice a year.
Service here is always quick and friendly and the place is always clean.

First time at this location, very busy. Don’t go hungry. Food is great, service is undeniably slow. Parking can be tricky because the service takes so long. Modern dining area looks nice, but not kept clean very often. Probably because most of the dining area is out of sight from the cashiers and kitchen. Another thing, I like the digital screens, but I can’t stand when they move or flash. It’s harder to read. I’ll probably go back, but not on an empty stomach!

Typically I don’t eat fast food often but when I do I will usually opt for Popeyes or El Pollo… this particular day I wanted Popeyes!!! I remember by passing by that there was one in this area… Now I don’t know if this was new or a re opening of an old one but none the less I went in and ordered my strip meal… Customer service was mediocre, although I wasn’t expecting much… There was one other person in there other than Myself so I didn’t have to wait long… I did however express to the young lady that I would like my order fresh and hot… Although this should not be required to do… Your food should already come out fresh and hot… Which it did, I was very suprised! It was really good, hot and well cooked!
Now your probably wondering why I gave the rest. 1 star… The meal was so good the previous day… I actually wanted it the second day as well (for dinner) … Which was today 2÷27÷2014 … I went in today and there was more people than the day before… Which is fine, that’s never a problem… The problem started with the rude ass fat dirty cashier, who extremely had no personality or customer service skills… I waited a good 20 mins for my food, Only to receive it after 3 people who came in after me and got their food… I ordered two meals! 2 3 piece tenders… Others ordered 12 and 20 pieces meals! Then what top it off when I got the food it was totally lukewarm… WTF were they doing for 20 mins… They were speaking Spanish under their breath rolling their eyes, which made me believe that they don’t like black people… Long story short (well not really) food was horrible when I got home… They literally put 5 fries in the almost 8 dollar meal! Will never be coming back… Will be calling manager, corporate, and health dept!!! Wait., I am the health dept… That’s your assss Popeyes on Willow!!! Action will be taking!!!

Terrible workers and not accommodating
I order popcorn shrimp and didnt have cocktail cause so I asked to get the 3pc chicken strips and they’re like thats a dollar more.
I was really. you failed to inquire me that they ran out of all the condiments. .and did not provide customer service. .
The cashiers and management had no customer service, argued and made my times a living hail!!! $ charged for sauces

Popeye’s Chicken is reliably good ‘tho generally speaking across all fast food friend chicken places, be it KFC, Church’s, Pioneer (yes, I think there’s one left in the LA area on Pico Blvd), or Popeye’s, the costs seem fairly high (more so than burger joints, so chicken is more expensive than beef, contrary to pricing in the supermarkets).
It’ll take about $ 7−8+ to get a meal that would be filling and satisfying at most fast food chicken places.
The wings at Popeye’s used to be huge… maybe like in MLB where PED’s are banned, the chicken industry stopped using growth hormone steroids and the size of chicken pieces are back to normal.
So, I’d recommend their chicken strips and nuggets, both are all natural chicken, not the «chopped and formed» chicken like you see at McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, Burger King, Wendy’s, etc.
You know Popeyes is also one of the last fast food places that offers Strawberry Soda too…
The parking is easy and the service is good here.

I ordered the #10 which is the loaded chicken wrap and boy was it good. Unlike most wraps that are pretty skimpy on the chicken, I was happy to find a nice big crispy piece of fried chicken in this wrap. I got a side of mashed potatoes and a Dr. Pepper and I was good to go.
This Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits is located on the corner of Santa Fe and Willow just across from my auto repair place which is called Clavito’s. The area is a little rough but hey its Westside Long Beach its meant to be a little rough. The parking lot could be a little bigger but hey I am not complaining. I got a tune up for my car across the street at a no nonsense price and I got a nice little meal at a no nonsense price. I give this place a solid 3 star rating for sure!

Love that chicken @ Popeyes… at Westside Long Beach?!?
Ive been coming here at this location since this place used to be Pioneer Chicken, when i was a young lad.
To me and my family when we get lazy to cook, we would have a Popeyes night almost every week! Well if you have not been to a Popeyes Chicken, its all about the New Orleans blend of fried chicken, its about how crunchy it is and you get that «who knows Louisiana taste» you have two choices of original and spicy (spicy seems to be made crunchier).
I would always try something new here like the Po Boy sandwiches, Cane sweet tea, and chicken nuggets. You get favorites like chicken tenders that are salty crunchy, Cajun battered fries that are heavily seasoned (watch the hot oils!) and you can’t forget the mash potatoes and gravy!
The customer service here over the years have always been the same, seriously some of the cashiers here never smile, i wish management put a smiley sticker on themselves, serving Popeyes is really a «Louisiana chicken joy HONOR!!!» come on guys put a smile! good fried chicken ain’t boring! then i would give it four solid stars but im only giving this 3.5 stars for its chicken meals and signature sides only because its bomb!
This is the best joint that the Westside Long Beach have to offer! but hey 2 pieces for .99 cents on Tuesdays and Saturdays at this location, what is this world coming too?
