Pizza Place & Garden Cafe

We ordered on Grub Hub and everything was hot and amazing! My husband got the lasagna and it was the best he’s ever had… And huge! I had the shrimp scampi (huge) and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. These guys don’t just make amazing pizza, they do everything to perfection. The house salad was huge and the dressing taste homemade! This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. We are going to check out the patio and fire pit this week. Worth every penny!!!

The absolutely best bbq chicken pizza and shrimp scampi EVER… yum. Never been disappointed. Great food, great service and great great customer service…

My friend and I randomly walked upon this gem. What started it to be just a day of thrifting and sight seeing turned into a full on pizza date lol we stopped by a couple different places looking for something to eat and I was NOT flattered by the establishments in the area. But THIS place … Simply amazing. They have a patio where you can enjoy the sun and the breeze while you eat and laugh or you can eat inside (your choice). We ate outside, even though the wind was blowing a little rough it didn’t stop us from being «WOW’D» by the service. Again, we chose to sit outside and enjoyed every minute. The host, Alex was very attentive and polite When the food came out… AMAZING, hot & mouth watering. So fulfilling. My friend had a regular pepperoni pizza and I had a pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple pizza. FRESH. Tastes and smells so delicious. I never thought to put sesame seeds on the crust but it added a change in taste in the best way. So good ! Will be returning !!

I really enjoyed this place, the pizza was perfect and it’s family owned– The service was very friendly. This place is also thinking of carrying some vegan proteins from Vege USA! Please give them your support and encouragement!

I will never order from this place again, very sorry excuse for a restaurant. I called in at 7:59pm to make an order for delivery, I was told it would be 30 minutes. I ordered pizza, pasta, and a salad. At around 9pm…55 minutes after the order was made, the delivery guy showed up I paid him for the food and gave him a tip, then I shut the door and opened my food bag, my salad and pasta aren’t even in the bag, just the pizza. i called in and spoke to the girl on the phone that I initially made the order with a hour before hand, her name was Sandra, I told her that I didn’t get my pasta or salad, she put me on hold then got back on the phone and said oh yeah the pasta is on it’s way… and i was like that’s it? You aren’t going to apologize or tell me what went wrong, just act like everything is all good after I have been waiting a hour for my food, then she says sorry I mixed up the orders. Already, I feel this is the worst service I have had in a while. The delivery guy comes back with the pasta and apologizes which is fine, I’m like whatever at least he is nice about it. Then I sit back down, open my pasta and see that the ham I initially asked to be kept out since I don’t eat meat, is in the pasta. Now, I’m pissed, so I call back in the girl picks up the phone and tells me that they will send me a new pasta without the ham at no charge… like duh dude… why the hell would I pay more to get the food I ordered in the first place? At this point its been almost a hour and a half since I ordered my food, mind you I have already paid for everything but I don’t even have it. I call back in like 15 minutes later and ask how long it will be until my food gets here and this time a guy picks up the phone and tells me ten minutes this is at 9:30pm, its not 10:15pm…which is 2 hours and 15 minutes after I made my original order and 45 minutes after the pasta mess up… I call to cancel everything, since at this point Im done with this restaurant… they don’t pick up the phone and then I find out they closed at 10:00pm. Not only did they take my money for food they never brought me, they made me stay up for 2 hours after I already worked a 8 hour shift at work and I just wanted to eat before bed… then they tell me my food will be delivered and they never show up… how unprofessional can you be? I will be calling tomorrow to get my money back, I suggest you save your money and time and go with a real restaurant.

This is probably the worst pizza I have ever had. Not only was it late getting there it had sesame seeds on it. This ain’t a burger. Pizza was horrible and wrecked my stomach.

I don’t know how they continue to amaze me. The people that work there are friendly and helpful and have gone way out of their way to help out. I love their pizza and they have the best wings. Seriously the best wings.

Have loved this place forever! Outdoor patio seems like the backdrop to my life. Fire pit is on and rocking and there’s great deals depending on the day of the week. Our waiter tonight was the best I’ve had there and the best I’ve had in a long time anywhere in long beach! Great experience, great night!

This used to be a favorite spot for me and my family but our last visit will be our last visit we had two beers and a pizza the bill was $ 50.00 and the waiter had such a bad attitude the worst service I had for that place. We will not pay $ 50.00for someone to disrespect us if you read the reviews I am not alone but it looks as though management is not reading not asking for anyone to get fired but trained for today’s environment

While delivery was quick, the food was pretty bland. I got the vegetable fettucine alfredo. The sauce needed way more flavoring — it didn’t even have salt in it. It was basically bland white sauce. The vegetables were barely cooked.
The garlic bread was the most flavorful part of the meal, but really crusty. The salad was fine, nothing super exciting, iceberg lettuce, some grated cheese, and italian dressing.

So I’ve eaten here about five or six times, always for lunch, never for dinner. Here is my two cents…
Good food, at a great price, with phenonmenal service. Whether you prefer, pizza, pasta or sandwiches, they have you covered and everything I’ve tried has been delish. Serving sizes are very generous to boot!!! A definite plus for a fatty like me!!! And the fried zuchinni app kicks ass!!!
A great little outdoor seating area for those So Cal «postcard» type days to chew the fat with family, friends and /​or co-​workers and enjoy your meal.
Onsite /​adjacent parking area is pretty small, especially if you have larger vehicle, (i.e., anything larger than a mid-​size), but there is plenty of available street parking.

This is a decent pizza place. The food is good. The location is convenient. They have great hours and the staff is friendly, not much more I could ask for. I have not eaten in yet. When I do I will update my experience at that time.

Good selection and their pizzas are very tasty. The crust is unlike anything I’ve ever had before and delicious. The atmosphere could use some work. The outdoor furniture feels cheap. The service is inconsistent. Trying to get someone’s attention while outside has been a problem once or twice. If you like thick crust pizza, you should give them a try.

This place never seizes to amaze me. Best pizza in town! And their ranch is to die for (fat gurl moment). Waitresses are always nice and fast service. Over all great experience every time I’m here!

I love this place, my family and I have been going there for the past 20 years, and we continue to do so. The Italian food is really authentic, the Greek pizza is an award winning one. The Alfredo sauce is out of this world.
If you’re ever in long beach ca, you can’t pass on not dinning there, I am serious.
Try it and find out for yourself.

Food Poisoning!
A friend and I ate there Sunday ⁹⁄₁₃ at 10pm and by 3AM I Woke up vomiting, sweating and diarrhea. My friend had the same symptoms. Stay away from this place.

Came in for dinner with Son and wife. Dinner was amazingly delicious every item we selected was great!
Son got a large pizza with only cheese, have plenty to take home. We got a large salad to share.
We ordered garlic bread and the two pieces were yummy. Wife ordered chicken wings kinda on the spicy side, but good.
I ordered stuffed pasta with marinara sauce. This place is in a great downtown location kind of hidden.
Parking available to the side or off street parking. Worth it no matter where you park.
The inside is clean, relaxing, inviting. Great vibe… Cozy outdoor patio if you don’t want to sit inside. Large booth type seating. The restrooms are clean! The staff is friendly and helpful, friendly smiles a plus!

Overall, not a fan of this place. I was looking forward to trying a local pizza place expecting it to be an improvement to the chains stores.
On the plus side, delivery was quick and the pizza was hot and fresh. Considering we live a block away that was kind of expected. We’ve walked by the location before and found the exterior to be inviting.
On the minus side, the crust is very dry and has no distinguishable flavor. Although the pizza itself tasted okay, the cheese they use kept falling off the pizza. The result was a very messy attempt to avoid getting sauce on our game.
I’ll reserve a worse review since I cannot attest to dining in or other menu items.

I haven’t even tasted the food yet but the girl Sandra that is working today has been rude in that subtle and awful way that deserves a really bad review. When customers are paying $ 20 plus tip for a salad and sandwich the least the employee can do is be friendly and not completely over it. Literally, there is not one person in the place except me and the food is still not ready a half hour later. Let me taste this food and get back to you.
So the food was just ok. The ingredients were fresh so I’ll give them that but the sub was definitely thrown together, like they started it when I had come back to the place 20 minutes later and asked if my order is ready. All and all, not worth the price for the attitude and food that should have been half the price.

Horrible place, I came in all the way from the West side and wanted to try something new. I read the reviews and I don’t understand where people state that the food was cooked right.
I ordered a pizza and a fettuccini Alfredo of which both seem to come from a frozen box and food was cold when it was served. By the way the place is pretty much empty so it’s not like they were busy. I dine out extensively and more so at Italian restaurants, I can buy a frozen Alfredo for like 5 $ and they charge you here as if they made it themselves. I’m extremely disappointed the only good thing was the initial bread and even that I doubt it was made fresh. To the owner Ms. Tina Lilis I read the reviews on your wall, and I don’t know what has happened since 2007, I was excited when I read the reviews but unfortunately, I can honestly say that even Costcos pizza is more fresh than what they served us today. Too bad for this place.
