Pad Thai was beyond terrible. Couldn’t even finish it. Very disappointed in both the food and the conditioning of the restaurant. I can accept a restaurant being dated but a dirty restaurant is criminal.
I was really looking forward to Thai food and even invited a co worker to go with me on our lunch break. We both ordered Pad Thai and both of us barely touched it.
You have got to land your Pad Thai if you are to call yourself a Thai restaurant!

Got a to go order for friends at home the hostess and sever were slow so they talked to us while we waited for our food I had to run home to get my wallet but still a good experience and great food with exceptional device thanks again Amy and Lilly

I have been living in LB for years, never knew this jem existed. Was looking up a late night spot that delivers and came across this restaurant. The lady on the phone was very kind and helpful. We orders soup and paw (cant think of the name) the fat noodles. and egg rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious… They didnt have a delivery minimum plus they gave as free thai ice tea. My friend was over few days after and she wanted to have food delivered I told her about this spot. She placed an order for fried rice with shrimp n egg rolls. She loved both. You have to try this place. Im sure you will love it like I do.

because I love their Thai boat with thick noodles! flavor is great and the service is pretty good for a small place. the setting and area is pretty rugged but the food takes your mind off that. oh & they’re open late nights !!!

I came here a couple of weeks ago and I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while now. I had their pad-​see-​ew, and this was the first time I’ve ever had this type of Thai noodle. I kind of wished that the noodles had a little more veggies, but it was pretty good the way it was.
The second time we came here, I wanted something that would warm me up, since I started to feel kind of sick. The boyfriend suggested that we both get the duck noodles. And oh man, it was good!
I don’t know why everyone says that this place is dirty. From what I could tell, there wasn’t any roaches or other insects when I went there. I think that this place has gotten a makeover since.
They have good thai tea! And free refills! :)

Found this place by word of mouth and TOTALLY worth it! Vibe is deli-​like, but don’t let that fool you– the food is exquisite, piping hot with perfect spice. I opted for the duck fried rice since my friend raved about it, some green curry with chicken and a Thai iced tea for free. The woman serving was also the cook. don’t expect Americanized service. Service is slow by LB standards but help yourself to water while you wait and be patient. it’s old school mama-​kitchen type of thing… Delivery free within 3 miles

Always a late night stop after bar hopping on second street. This place stays open until 4am some nights.
I’ve had the BOAT NOODLES which I really like. Good portion, and the broth is very flavorful with tons of veggies and meat. I tend to take the red chili flakes that are on the table and sprinkle a generous amount into my soup and that just makes it perfect! I’ve also had the PAD SEE EW which I didn’t like and didn’t finish. Pass on that. It’s flavorless and greasy. BEEF JERKY is pretty good. Small pieces, kinda greasy because it think they fry it but has a really good dipping sauce. CHICKEN WINGS are pretty tasty. Basic wings without extra breading and comes with sweet and sour dipping sauce.
Service is Ehhhh kinda a hit and miss, but what do you expect from a mom and pop shop on the east side of long beach. They don’t really refill your water unless asked and tend to forget to give you utensils to eat with.
I know that they’ve closed before due to uncleanliness and I’ve kept my eyes opened for anything fishy but so far so good. Haven’t gotten sick yet *** knock on wood****

Delicious Duck Noodles
Small restaurant that has some cramp seating. They have delicious duck noodles that you have to remember to squeeze lime to have a sour, salty and spicy blend of flavor. Mouth watering delicious noodles with savory soup to slurp up while eating the noodles with pieces of duck. Watch out for some small bones too. Duck noodles is whats popular from mild to spicy level. What’s good about this place is they’re open late when you’re feeling hungry for some warm noodle soup on a cold night you got to drop by this place to fill up to satisfy your belly and Thai cravings.

I neglected to update my review before this place got shut down. I was kind of disgusted the last time I came in. My niece ordered eggrolls and I had my usualy thai boat. My niece complained that the eggrolls tasted funny. It did. Seemed like it was freezer burned prior to being fried. My Thai boat was okay. The pork grinds were stale. We were both disgusted by the cockroaches that were crawling across the table. We even saw big black ones outside. I think this whole strip mall needs to be fumigated or knocked down. It is just dirty.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff. I love they are open late. Food is delicious. It’s cozy, perfect for a small friend gathering or a latenight quality Thai food frun. Happy I found this place… I do recommend!

Hmm. This place is alright. I don’t really like coming here unless I really crave some thai food since this place opens late.
I ordered the pad see ew and it was okay. Tasted a little salty though. Wasn’t the best pad see ew I tasted. Not enough vegetables/​meat. There was too much noodles. Kinda sad! But it’s kay. Also, service was alright. Nothing much to say.

Omg, we went there last night because it’s open late but before we could order, a HUGE roach ran out from the back of the restaurant… it was like the size of like… a ketchup packet… GROSS! We had to walk out… and find somewhere else to eat. NEVER coming back.

Good service, open late, made everything specialized to my likings ! No complaints.

Well, I have to say since my last post in April 2012, this place is still my guilty pleasure.
I’m going to be super honest, this place does need a makeover possibly a bit of Detail cleaning. (0₀) I’m always here and I’ve sat in the same spot by that refrigerator that NO ONE should be looking at but… Oh well. And the ceiling with the lights needs cleaning too. It’s icky. Sorry! I’m just being honest!
BUT the wait staff are still very pleasant and friendly. I order the exact same thing (Pad see eww with either Tofu or beef) and it’s always spot on. I’ve notice recently some changes in utensils (chopsticks) and drinking cups (thumbs up, guys!)
Simple menu, hasn’t changed… Except maybe prices. ;) Yes, I’ve notice…

Unlimited thai iced tea. Boat noodle is yummy and hits the spot. Texture is diverse. I prefer it to phở. Duck noodle has the right amount of saltiness as far as the roast duck is concerned. A real treasure of a Thai fusion spot in the LGB :)
