Really great experience! Fast attentive service, very affordable, and delicious food! This was an awesome find. I went with the huevos rancheros and they were awesome!

I ordered the veggie chilaquiles but received eggs with soyrizo. Regardless, it was still a good breakfast plate.

went to omelette inn with my friend nickolas during our long beach visit, and we were pretty happy with the experience. he got eggs benedict with hash browns and i had tasty buscuits and gravy + english muffin and jelly. on top of that, they serve house made salsa, so we had to order some tortilla chips and start with that. p. s. you will have a beautiful host, the girl. she rocks!!! i think nickolas fell in love with her.

This place rocks! We are staying at a local airBNB and found this place through Unilocal and what a great sport for an awesome breakfast. Veggie options for everyone. They cater to everyone! And it’s fresh!

Good service, on top of the coffee and condiments! Food is very tasty and fresh! Nice and cozy, especially on a busy street. Next time we’re sitting outside on the patio! Oh I almost forgot about their tasty fresh salsa, really changed up my omelette!

The food here was really great and they open nice and early for breakfast. Awesome variety of omelettes, pancakes, and French toast. I went with the hangover omelette with cheddar ham and veggies. Delish! My husband got a steak and egg plate. The only thing I didn’t like was that service was very slow even though their were few people at the restaurant at the time. I’ll probably go again soon though.

We were looking for a breakfast place on a Sunday, searched on Unilocal and found the Omelette Inn. The setting of this place is simple with a small outside patio. Service is quick, efficient and very friendly. The menu is huge! You will find all the breakfast classics, Mexican dishes, sandwiches, burgers and even a selection of desserts. Everything was done very well and portions are huge, even the kids ones. They only have brewed coffee which was a little letdown. Inexpensive, good value for money.

I truly wanted to love this place– who doesn’t love an omelette? Regardless, despite the friendly service and descent crowd the food is quite bland. The omelettes are way overcooked and in turn they are quite bland and tasteless. They lack the fluffy consistency that a properly whipped and cooked omelette has. I’ve tried 5 of them and have yet to taste one that’s properly made(sigh). The décor is a bit odd, but tolerable. Nonetheless, if your name is the«Omelette Inn» you should be able to make an omelette that tastes better than a truck-stop!?! The ingredients used seem to be fresh, however their cook takes a «scorched earth» approach in his/her cooking, which leaves a dense flavorless mass sitting on customer’s plates where a delicious fluffy omelette should be…

This was delicious. Here at 8:30−10am PT today. Had the B-Scrambler. Took a minute to come though but was told the hash browns take longer than home fries. Hash browns do not have all the peppers and onions, etc… while home fries do. The scrambler($ 6.75) does not come with meat so order the Traditional($ 8.00) if you want meat. Bill comes to $ 7.36 tax included for what you see in my attached pics. The type of wheat bread is Squaw Wheat and it is divine. Food came out piping hot and waitress was too adorable. The male host who looks like a cute bouncer was also very very accomodating. I really enjoyed the food. I will add to pay attention to the Early Bird Specials that are offered because my waitress never mentioned them and they are $ 5.50 with meat and 1 less egg. Early bird info is actually under the glass on the table so if menu is put down you will miss seeing it. The place looks like a dive diner from outside and inside BUT do not let that dissuade you. Come inside and chow. Only reason why not a 5 star is because waitress nor host said and thing about specials. It seems as though more locals visit here than tourists so it may have been an oversight. I will return in less than a month. Yessssss yum!

Food was yummy. Nothing out of the ordinary but good. I got the egg whites with broccoli, house fries and a side of french toast. I like my toast soggy(yes i do) and these were kind of dry. The mimosas were delicious!

I have been coming here for years and they always make good food with unique combinations and excellent service. The menu is extensive for breakfast and lunch offerings… and they do very well with veggie options too. Their delivery in dtlb area is quick and food still warm… Luv them !

Service was slow but I understand since it was packed. Pancakes were delicious but my eggs had a small strand of hair on it. Seating outside is very cluttered and tables are small so I would prefer inside seating. Overall it was my first time here and I will definitely come back.

Was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but the service is always so good I had to go with 4. There’s always a crowd here, but I’ve hardly ever had to wait. The patio can get a little cramped, but there is plenty of seating inside. Obviously they have tons of omelettes, but they also have a huge menu of scrambles, pancakes, huevos rancheros, etc. I’ve had several of the omelettes, and last time I ordered their special which was a Chile Verde Omelet with shredded chicken… it was amazing. Just a warning, the portions are HUGE. The coffee here is always super hot(how I like it) and they are quick to refill it. This isn’t the cheapest place ever for the quality/style, but it’s still reasonable. It’s on Pine but away from the rest of the restaurants and bars so it’s a little quieter and more enjoyable to sit outside. I’m sure I’ll be back. Don’t come expecting a fancy brunch place with mimosas and atmosphere. It’s just good for filling, quick breakfast.

Good food. Excellent price. I love the waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. The omelettes are always a good choice. Last visit here I ordered the Sicilian omelette and it was excellent. The egg was perfectly cooked. The omelette contained the perfect amount of toppings(black olives, green onions, and cheese). The toppings added great Italian flavor to every bite. I also ordered the pancakes – they were huge. They literally covered the whole plate. Price is a plus. Bill was under $ 30 for 3 entrees and coffee. Service was prompt. Could work on cleanliness and design/layout of the place. Could use a makeover but not at the expense of higher prices. I guess forget about the makeover. Keep making reasonably priced and quality breakfast. They also serve many lunch items in case not a breakfast fan. Have not tried lunch item(what is typically eaten for lunch). I think lunch is served all day. Besides that i wont comment any more on lunch since not had.

Most restaurants were closed on New Years Day and we chose this restaurant because of lack of choices, location –we didn’t want to walk around looking for a restaurant any longer, popularity(remember, I said most restaurants were closed that day), and the first place we choose ran out of coffee so we had to leave(can’t start the day without coffee). Décor isn’t really worth discussing and ambiance… feels like a busy, outdated diner. Outdoor patio seating is the way to go, if you do decide to eat here– despite my overall negative review. I got the #11 Grecian Formula $ 9.50: Veggie sausage, artichoke hearts, basil, bell peppers(green), tomatoes and green onions. Topped with black olives and feta cheese. Served with home fries or hash browns(I got home fries) and choice of bread: white, wheat, rye, sourdough or English muffin(I chose rye). Perhaps after a 45 minute wait for my food, my meal just didn’t taste as good and wasn’t worth the wait. I was only impressed with the veggie sausage tasting like a pork sausage, portion size and large serving size of fresh grapefruit juice my friend ordered. Despite the long wait and lack of attention from our waitress –she always walked over with a smile, cheerful and completely oblivious of the lack of attention to detail from her and the overall staff. Is a smile and cheerfulness enough?!? Our waitress almost walked away without taking one more order from our group, we had to repeat our drink orders to a second person cleaning tables and repeat the type of bread we ordered with our meals to her when our meals arrived. Being a busy New Years day, shouldn’t compromise service –as my friends and I went to dinner/drinks on NYE(an equally busy time) and had attentive, superb service at King’s Fish House. With a variety of restaurants in this general area of Long Beach, I wouldn’t go back.

Went here hungry after the Aloha run with my boyfriend and friend! I got to say, a great place to have breakfast!!! Décor/Cleanliness The décor is typical diner. Cleanliness was ok. The place looks a little bit run down, however I think that’s the charm of it. Food What I ordered was… their corn beef hash, fresh squeezed orange juice and the fresh fruit bowl. My boyfriend ordered the Eggs Benedict and our friend ordered the Denver omelette. The corn beef hash was good, it wasn’t at all greasy and it tasted very lean and the eggs were standard, I got mine eggs over easy. As for the hash brown, they were good as well not at all greasy and it was very crunchy. The orange juice was fresh squeezed with the sweetest oranges that they could find and the fruit bowl was FRESH! I didn’t taste overnight refrigeration at all!(HUGESMILES&JAZZHANDS) As for the Eggs Benedict my boyfriend loved it. They put in the right amount of Hollandaise sauce and it had the right amount of tanginess that he enjoys. As for the Denver omelette, our friend didn’t know it came with 2 dollops of goat cheese. I think it was a mistake in the back, however she gave me the sides of goat cheese, since I love goat cheese. Service Service was standard. Overall Experience 4 Stars because the food was fresh and good. I am really impressed by that. Happy Eating Everybody!!!

It was my first time back since they moved from 3rd Street so I was curious if they served food was as good as I remember. The servers were attentive and friendly – yay! The restroom is downstairs in the basement. Creepy but clean. The subtraction of 2 stars is from the meal. I ordered the Chef’s Favorite, which is a green chile omelette with cheese, guac, and their own ‘ranchero’ sauce. The ranchero sauce tasted like it was from a commercial jar of ragu! That sauce really belonged on overcooked pasta at an American Italian restaurant NOT within an omelette. Kind of gross in combination with the other ingredients, actually. Instead of calling it the Chef’s Favorite, maybe they should call it the Chef’s Surprise because you don’t expect the ‘Ranchero’ to be spaghetti sauce. If I return, I’ll stick to a basic omelette with no unusual combinations.

I am always baffled at establishment such as this that is in the food and service industry. Service was beyond unacceptable and there should be no reason that it is this awful. We came here at about 11am. The credit card machine was down and they were accepting cash only. This explained why it was so empty on a Sunday. It took the hostess more than the alloted wait time to ask for our drinks. We told her we were in a rush to which a rude tone was used. Our server came and took our order. She was missing our side of bacon, jams, and syrup. It took 3 other employees asking us the same question of «is there anything else you need?» before we received our missing items. We ate and not once did anyone came back to check on us or even offered a refill on our drinks. It was beyond terrible. Even our food taste like crap due to such poor service. We will not return which is a shame because Downtown Long Beach needs to thrive and they are one reason why LB is not. Poor service.
