Pretty quiet the night I ate there; food was acceptable, nothing great. But the band was ridiculously loud the other night when I was at the theatre next door. The restaurant is incredibly disrespectful of their neighbors. I just called the manager to tell her this and she said, «OK, no problem.» Yeah? I won’t be back anytime soon.

El Sabado pasado visitamos el changarro y no nos sorprendieron en nada, es mas al salir de ahi senti que me habian robado. Ordenamos una tostada de ceviche de camaron, una tostada de ceviche «mixto» es decir el unico en el menu que decia mixto era el de campechana, un taco de camaron enchilado y dos micheladas… facil no? pues NO… nos trajeron mi tostada, todo bien. Pero a mi novio le trajeron una tostada de ceviche de camaron mixto con pescado. Al decirle a la mesera, la mesera empieza que esa es la «mixta» tengan en cuenta que nisiquiera tienen una tostada en el menu que diga MIXTA DE CEVICHE DE CAMARON CON PESCADO… entonces en vez de cambiarle la tostada se pone a darnos todo una novela que nosotros la habiamos ordenado mal y que esto, esto y lo otro. Esa no era la correcta respuesta, era para que dijera pues dejame traerte la «mixta» que estaba en el menu la campechana no? Pues no, hablamos con el que se miraba de encargado y admitio que la mesera tiene que explicarle al cliente eso y aun no ofrecio en reemplazar la mendiga tostada. Para que se las hago larga, el ceviche esta bien nada especial, la miche estaba rica, el taco no sabria decirles por que aparte la mesera nunca trajo el taco. Fueron $ 35 y del coraje mi novio no dejo ni un tip. Mejor hubieramos ido a LOS COMPADRES y todo se habria preveniido y hasta mucho mas rico. Pero bueno, ya no tenemos pensado ir NUNCA.

Yep, three stars was about right. I was walking back from Thai Spooon yesterday when I noticed that this was no longer the site of a really terrible-​looking Italian restaurant anymore, but instead was hosting a fairly nice-​looking Mexican place, so I figured we should try them, which I did, today for lunch. We ordered two wet burritos — one beef, one chicken. Service was fast and effective, the burritos were crazy large, and the cheese, sauce, sour cream and guacamole all tasted fresh and pretty flavorful… but the chicken and beef were both pretty mediocre quality (mostly tasteless beef; moderately gristley chicken.) For 10 bucks, I’d expect better (actually, I was expecting cheaper, too, but that’s partially my fault: there’s a big «6 buck wet burrito during lunch hours» sign up out in front, which was our plan, but it *does* say in smaller print on the same sign, only M-​F.
If there weren’t plenty of other better and/​or, cheaper Mexican places around, I’d be tempted to give them 4 stars (they weren’t *bad*, just only ok), but there are, so I won’t.

Don’t come here, horrible service! They give you very little shrimp for the price, they don’t know how to prep the food (had to butterfly my own shrimp in my aguachiles), and the lady spilled it on my pants!

Went back again when I was craving some mariscos. I really don’t get the 5 star reviews. the food is really bland and not seasoned well. completely underwhelming. Combine that with the above average pricing and I see no reason to come here when you can walk down the street to another seafood establishment or take a quick 5 minute car ride and get better food for less money. bummer because they are very close to me and I would be a regular if this place was better.

I love seafood, so I decided to give this place a try. The waitress was super friendly and nice. Once my family ordered their food we saw some big No No’s, I ordered a cocktail campechana and the way it was represented was not so good. The lime was not even green, it was yellow with brown spots. All the other plates came with the same type of limes. Some of the tomatoes on the salad were brown as well. To me food representation talks a lot about cleanliness of the food was poorly represented I can now imagine how bad their kitchen maybe. I will not be coming back to this place. It is pricey and poorly represented. If their food quality and representation was great I would not mind paying the price. But it did hurt to pay with bad quality food.

Great customer service. Food was legit too. We ordered the Molcajete and its big enough to share. The Shrimp dish with green sauce pictured on menu was very delicious too. Negative 1 star for the flies. They need to do something about the flies in the place.

All I gotta say is if you don’t like this place move on…
Me and my husband look for the best Marisco’s restaurants… And we love this place 5 stars. Good service and excellent food… Definitely coming back

Came here on a Sunday evening. Service was excellent, but the food was better. Our party ordered the campechana, shrimp cocktail, camarones al mojo de ajo, and the shrimp culiches. Had some micheladas as well.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. That’s all I can say. The staff is so friendly. We had the oyster shooters to start which were killer and good and spicy, but not too hot. Then I had the shrimp with chipotle — good and hot, yum. Wash it down with a cold Corona. Great menu with lots of choices. I shall return.

In the mood for seafood. wanted to try a new place. Not all that great, not for me. Sticking to Compadre’s .The restaurant need to invest on curtains, not enough napkins. I ask for flour not corn tortillas one of the lady’s that had sharpie eyebrows was rude. My 7 mares bowl was water down, also my chilada. Random people walking by, some are homeless others are drunk, druggies, they all looking inside. So awkward. Not for me.

This place sucks the capechana coctail is terrible 1 freakin oyster that was small it had no abalone I complained to the owners and they didn’t give a crap this food is over priced and doesn’t taste good, DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Came here for lunch after church, our typical Sunday with the family. Word in Long Beach that this restaurant was good.

I came here for lunch recently and ordered take out! This place has great natural light. I ordered 2 tostadas de ceviche de camaron and they were delicious! I would like to return again to experience the dine-​in service.
