food just ok middle priced chinese food but a bit strange on their freebies. for over 30 – 45 dollars. must pay cash when some menus in phone book do not say that so of course my wife said there are quite a number of chinese restaurants in the west end and long beach try elsewhere.
they don’t seem to care when i discussed it with them. they walked away…

I ordered from every Chinese take out in lb and this is by far the best one their portions are great and they always get our orders right (fried rice no veggies for my brother sorry he’s picky haha) I would def recommend

It took me forever to find a good Chinese restaurant in Long Beach. Thankfully, I found this place. It is your classic small Chinese place. It isn’t a place where you will go in to sit down and eat. Really just for take out.
I usually get the roast pork egg foo young or sesame chicken. Oh and of course fried pork dumplings… mmm soooo good

Best Chinese take out in Long Beach, NY. Quicker if you pick it up yourself vs. delivery. The sitting area in restaurant is small so we order for pick up. When my mom calls to order Mrs. Sheng always recognizes her voice & chats it up with her for a bit & could put in our order without my mom even saying a word. She’s very sweet & friendly & always gives us extra fortunte cookies, soup noodles & duck sauce. The food is always on point & consistent. My personal favorites are the chicken & broccoli, wonton soup, boneless spare ribs, pork fried rice & egg rolls. But my family orders a variety of items & everyone is always pleased, no complainants. Support local business!

This is my second time eating here and the food was consistent. Beef with broccoli was okay but the egg foo young and boneless ribs were awesome. I ordered online the first time and it took forever. Tonight I just called in and it took a half hour. Pretty good spot.

Omg this is the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in a long time! I’ve had tried most in long beach and they ARE NOT worth it! Moved to Island Park and these are no better. The food here is AMAZING. Egg rolls don’t taste drenched in oil. Boneless ribs are minimal fat. I could actually taste MEAT! Shrimp toast was good. Figured I would be safe and go with beef and broccoli and I was not disappointed. Definitely will be going back. Only stomach pain I got was because I ate to much

Don’t order online!!!
I ordered online and received a return e-​mail that they had my order.
One hour and fifteen minutes later there was no delivery.
I called to see why and was told they had not received the order.
I explained that I had an e-​mail response from them that they had received the order.
Their reply was that the website (Kam Sheng’s site) was not working so well and I would not be charged.
If they know the website doesn’t work so well, why keep it online?
While waiting on hold I could hear orders being taken on other line — the place seemed very disorganized.
DON’T ORDER ONLINE !!!

For heavy snowing day delivery takes one hour I think for most of customer can understand and accept!

I wish I could give them no stars. After 30+ minutes I called to see if the order was almost ready to go out, but they forgot to actually put it in. After another 30+ minutes of waiting I called to see if it would be heading out soon. After being screamed at that the order still wasnt made the woman on the other end hung up on me. I called right back to cancel the order, because over an hour and not being finished was just ridiculous (especially when other local and better Chinese food deliveries are typically much faster). The woman laughed, said I was «so funny» and that the order would leave later, and hung up on me again! I tried one more time to cancel the order as it still wasn’t made, and not surprisingly, got hung up on again. I ended up having to cancel it through my bank.
My recommendation: use Island Park Chinese, or Jade. Much better and nicer staff.

I’ve always loved Kam Sheng. Their food is always fresh and the shrimp are large and not these tiny soggy shrimp I see at other restaurants. The egg foo young is excellent! I love the thick gravy. The ribs are always spot on! I’ve loved them for years and forget the best in long beach… they are the best hands down. Since moving from LB I make the excuse to visit family and get some Kam Shengs!

This place is the best chinese take out in Long Beach !! I gave 4 stars based on that alone, but the food is excellent and the kitchen appears very clean. My only knock is that one time they took 2 hours to deliver to my house 10 blocks away (it was the AFC championship game, so I forgive them)
