Island Hoppin’ Steel Drum Band

Wow, wow, and wow… what talent! Dave Gerhart played a birthday bash I had arranged and I am so glad that I found him while searching Google. The music was amazing, dealing with Dave was a pleasure, and I would book him again without hesitation.
He is not a flake, showed up on schedule, and was worth every dollar. Book him!!!

We have had Dave from Island Hoppin for a couple of years now. He’s fantasic! His music is great. Dave is very professional yet super fun too! We love having him every sunday and our guest love him too.

I hired Dave to play at an annual luncheon with a tropical theme. Dave was incredibly professional from start to finish. He was prompt and responsive to every e-​mail and inquiry I sent his way. He was incredibly flexible throughout the process. A day or two before the event, I had to ask him to come in about 30 minutes earlier, and he accommodated us. During the event, his set was interrupted several times by speeches and presentations, but he was gracious and understanding, and he just went with the flow. I didn’t worry or stress one bit about his participation. He made everything so easy and it was nice to work with someone so professional. He was friendly with the guests, and even sent me photos he had taken of some of the guests dancing to his music. I would absolutely hire him again, and you should too!

Dave performed at my Dad’s birthday and everyone loved it! The music created the perfect ambiance for out outdoor BBQ. He was very flexible with our evolving needs closer to the party and remained cool and collected when we were a bit frazzled getting ready for the party.

I hired Island Hoppin this past weekend to play at my engagement party. It was probably the best part of the party! So many guests complimented us on the entertainment and how it really set the mood. Dave was very easy to work with and did not cause 1 ounce of stress, unlike the caterers and décor set up! He showed up 30 minutes early to set up, had tropical music playing during set up and tear down, that way we were still enjoying the entertainment. The songs were great, the vibe was great and we were really lucky to have him there. It couldn’t have been more perfect! It was a very special day for us and Dave and his steel drum made it all more amazing. I will definitely be contacting him for more parties in the future.
