This is the first fully vegan Thai restaurant we’ve ever been to! And it is good! Got the drumsticks for appetizers and it was great! Then we got the Drunken Noodles and Panang Curry to share. Both were great! Highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to come back!

I came here last week to try out this place and it was okay! You can find parking on the street pretty easily if you come at a good time. The staff was nice and accommodating and answered any questions we had. The décor is appealing and the ambiance is nice. We ordered: Smoky Drum Sticks(3 out of 5) — I actually liked these a lot more than I thought I would. Its slightly sweet and spicy and has a good amount of flavor, Drunken noodles(3 out of 5) — They asked me how spicy I wanted it and I said 7. Looking back I should’ve seen 9 because I feel like the flavor was really lacking. But it wasn’t a bad dish. Overall this place wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best either.

Everything is here is delicious! They deliver, and it’s always been timely. The yellow curry is my favorite, my second fave is that basil fried rice, which is made with brown rice and just has this amazing flavor. The only reason I gave 4 stars is just a bc the prices are a little high. For good vegan food, it’s worth it, but when I’m a little short I just wish either the prices were a teeny bit lower or the portions a bit bigger.

SUPER disappointed in this place. My order was for delivery. First, their phone operator was new. I had to repeat myself three times over the phone only to have myself stand outside awkwardly(without a sweater because I didn’t think I’d go through this hassle) as they rewrote my card number. Second, the food wasn’t amazing. It was ehh at best. I ordered the amazing pad Thai which doesn’t have noodles. It’s just fried wontons. The soy chicken which was literally like 5 – 6 pieces and pure veggies. I’m sorry… I thought I ordered soy chicken, not vegetables with pieces of soy chicken. I also ordered the coconut ice cream which like the soy chicken, also lacked flavor. Kind of made me regret spending $ 26 on everything. And lastly, the thing that wrapped up this whole ordeal was when they rewrote my credit card number after the phone operator took my number wrong, and the guy tells me the total and points to the receipt and says«here’s the spot for the tip and here for the total» Um, you’re basically telling me to tip. Honestly, I always tip. But you asking me to tip is a no no. Never again.

We live in the neighborhood and regularly order take-out from here. Delivery is always prompt and courteous. Our orders have always been correct. The food is consistent — not the best Thai I have had, but the best of any of the Thai delivery in our area. Their hours are sometimes inconsistent. It appears they close early on slow nights, so call them before placing an order through Unilocal*/Eat24.

I ordered take-out. As others have mentioned, the flimsy containers for soups and curries imploded and almost half the liquid drained out, saved only by the plastic bag each one is wrapped in. While nothing was actually lost, it was inconvenient to have to carefully cut open the bag over a large bowl to catch everything, and could potentially be a disaster. There are sturdier containers on the market than the thin styrofoam and soda fountain caliber lids that they’ve chosen. Otherwise, the food was very good. This was my first try and my family was impressed. There are a few minor complaints. The orange chicken seemed to be largely fried breading, with little substance within. The sauce was fine though. On a positive note, the curry had a wonderful fresh coconut flavor and about a «medium» heat on the spice scale, which is about perfect. You can always add more, and they supply an excellent chili sauce. The pineapple rice was unlike any I’ve had, not greasy like most fried rice dishes, but with a little creaminess like a risotto. I’d order it again! The soy chicken in the Pad See Eww actually looked like chicken, and while the texture isn’t the same, doesn’t taste all that different from chicken, so meat-eaters like me didn’t feel left out. So while not perfect, we are happy and will give it another try, exploring deeper into the menu for items that are new to us. It seems there are some healthier items here than at other places.

Have been wanting to check out for a while. Service: 5⁄5 Fast, courteous, and friendly can’t ask for much more. Ambiance: 5⁄5 It was pretty dead, music was perfect level. Food: 4⁄5 I had the tofu-chicken drunken noodles. They had plenty of each vegetable, noodles and tofu-chicken. They used quite a bit of oil in the dish… I was going to knock off a star BUT it’s drunken noodles… not a dish known to be the pinnacle of healthiness… and the flavor was very good. Beverage: 4⁄5 I ordered a Thai Iced Tea. It was a little mild in flavor, the sweetness could have been stronger, but overall it wasn’t un-drinkable. Price: 5⁄5 For $ 14 I had a very good meal, a decent Thai tea, and great service. I will be back:)

Pad See Ew — noodles soft and tender, flavors ok, chicken tough and chewie, brocoli fresh and crisp. 3.5 stars Eggplant basil — tasty, needed rice, eggplant soft and tender, carrots crisp, nice mix of veggies and textures 3.8 stars Tofu Delight — perfect crispyness exterior with super tender tofu. Needed some salt and pepper. 3 stars Fish cake– did not taste fishy, not sure why its called a fish cake. However, it was my favorite thing there. It was savory and had a tender interior almost like a yam, then exterior had a nice crunch. Flavors good. The sauce had small cucumbers which added to nice texture to the app as well. 3.9 stars. Since it felt different from other vegan stuff I’ve had, I would get this again Thai ice tea with coconut ice cream– a bit watered down, idea was fun, flavor a bit of a let down. Seemed like this was a flavor packet and not actual tea. 3 stars

Everything was great. My friend and I got drunken noodles(level 7), veggie pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice. I was unsure of how spicy it’d be because it ranges from 1 – 10. We decided on 7 but it wasn’t all too spicy cause we have a high tolerance for spiciness. Next time we’re gonna try level 10 haha. Alotta people have recommended this place and I totally understand why. Keep up the great work! Will be back soon… Real soon at that lol. :)

Los Angeles is crawling with a million vegan places to find food and drinks, but there is way TOO much traffic in that direction at all times of the day so a couple of months back my husband and I came across«I Love Vegan» and have not been able to stop going ever since! We have been to quite a few vegan restaurants and such, but this is most definitely our go-to vegan spot. The servers and the man whom I assume is the owner have always been nothing less than attentive. Every time we go they ask if they could take our picture and when you walk in there’s a wall full of pictures in the shape of a heart. I think that shows just a little piece of their care and attention for their customers. These people care about the individuals that walk through their doors and the food they serve. And oh my gosh, please do not get me started on the food! So far, I have had the crispy wontons, orange soy chicken, mongolian soy beef, pad-see-eww, drunken noodles, amazing pad thai and panang curry with rice. I am not exaggerating when I say that everything is freakin’ delicious. My two favorite being the crispy wontons and the panang curry. Oh and their Thai iced tea. .. yes, just YES. Would I recommend this place? Yes, hands down. VEGAN, AMAZINGFOOD, AMAZINGSERVICE and you don’t have to drive an hour in traffic towards L.A. That is a win in my book.

This review is for our first dine-in experience at this restaurant. This place is on the way home from work, so my boyfriend and I finally stopped here last night to try it, as we’ve been wanting to for months. We ordered the mushroom delight(fried mushrooms with dipping sauce) for an appetizer and it was fried perfectly. The perfect texture and wonderful flavor was impressive, even without the sauce, but the sauce took it to an entirely different level. I wish I could just order fifty fried mushrooms and eat those, seriously. I ended up going with my original decision to order the pad-see-ew and my boyfriend was going to get the veggie pad thai but ended up getting the«amazing pad thai» instead. His dish was basically just fried wontons with minimal veggies. It wasn’t exactly«pad thai» though. While the flavor was just absolutely lights-out awesome, it’s a bit much to have an entire plate of it. He will order the veggie pad thai next time but there were no regrets at all with ordering it. It would be a good dish to share along with something else. As for me, I haven’t had legitimate pad-see-ew since I went vegan, and this REALLY hit the spot! The flavor and prep was flawless, loved the noodles and the broccoli and the bean sprouts and everything, and I decided to get the soy beef instead of chicken(I eat faux chicken all the time) and let me say, this beef would have fooled an omnivore. It would have 100% fooled me back in my meat-eating days. When we came here there were only two other couples eating here so service was prompt and everyone was very polite. Large portions too! I had the pleasure of taking half my meal home and enjoying it a second time. :) We will definitely be back to try more!

I liked everything except the tofu consistency on the black pepper tofu noodles. Sauce was good and noodles were good… did not like the tofu at all. All other dishes like the«chicken» lettuce wraps and fried tofu appetizer were delicious! I would definitely return! Good service and good prices make this place a nice place to visit for your vegan appetite!

I know, I know — this meat eater checking in at a Vegan joint… blasphemy! But this place is really good — tried it first during our Daniel fast and have been back quite a few times since. The soups are quite tasty(especially the Tom Yum hot & sour) and the Pad Thai options are not too bad(even though the noodles tend to get a little gummy the next day if you have leftovers) The stars of the menu are the Yellow Curry(my wife’s fav) and the Larb salad — the Larb is my jam… I could seriously eat it every day! It’s a family run place and they seem to get caught up doing other things rather than paying attention to their guests sometimes — the service is not bad, but just don’t expect them to stop by and check on you too often. All-in-all though, it’s a great neighborhood spot and they also deliver locally now so I would definitely recommend checking them out.

I found a broken plastic lid with broken pieces in my Tom yum soup. That’s dangerous and very uncalled for. Not only that, the delivery took 30 minutes longer what was stated. The portions are small and expensive. Food was just okay.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. We order form this place at work once a week. The delivery is always a hit or miss. I generally order the vegetable soup, which I absolutely love. I usually choose between with rice noodles or without rice noodles. The«clear» broth is perfect because I loooooove vegetable watery broth. Everyone at my job likes what they order(different soups, mayo sticky rice, brown/white fried rice) Here’s my few issues: The few orders that I have picked up to and taken to-go have been inconvenient. I like everything extra spicy, and after being given 2 very small tablespoon size sides of chilli sauce, I asked for two more. They were going to charge me $ 0.15 for it!!! I have a very hard time accepting that people charge for extra condiments. And then when I went to use the hot sauce, I cannot tell you how WATERY it was. It was gross. They went cheap and watered it down. Trust me, I know my chilli paste. Also, my side orders of fried rice have been extremely greasy. The white rice not as much as the brown rice but I will say they use ALOTTTT of oil. So if you’re trying to watch your fat intake be careful of that. Hopefully their service doesn’t continue to be a hit or miss.

OK kids, I took the plunge into this joint. I’ve passed this place dozens of times and it’s consistently empty. I think it’s the demographic and the location, but I’m willing to give it a shot based on the overall positive reviews. I ordered a variety of different things like a good foodie/yelper should. I ordered the pad Thai noodles with tofu, hot– and-sour soup, Indian pancakes, vegan veggi roll and hot Jasmine tea. Hot sour soup; this Isn’t your traditional expectation of the hot & sour soup. But it was in my opinion, absolutely wonderful with a booming flavor and aroma of lemongrass. This is something I’ve never experienced in a «hot & sour» soup — but it’s good. For what the soup is, it get’s an «A». The vegan veggie rolls; they were tasty, filled with what you would expect, rolled with that sticky rice paper. Nice flavor, nice dipping sauce & they were enjoyable, not over-the-top, but good. I give them a solid«B-». Next, the«pad Thai noodles» with tofu; it was tasty with that pad Thai taste on the slight sweet side. The flavor was what you would expect generally, and the amount was a pretty decent size for one person! A Likable dish, I’ll give that dish a «B /B– « The Indian pancakes; they were OK. You eat them like you would a tortilla with the food the waitress said. Nothing over-the-top, i’ll give them a «C». I think the Naan would work better. Well, my overall experience here was pretty good. I think the name of the restaurant is dumb, and the location may be a bit challenging for them, but in any other another location this place would be full of people! But who am I? I don’t own a business — but you have to start somewhere — so good for them! I’ll be back, because this place is close to me, not crowded, and tasty. Worth a try sometime!!!

My friend found this place and said that we should go to it. It was empty and the music wasn’t so loud so you could hold a nice conversation if you wanted to. We got seated and I decided to get the yellow curry and my friends got the Thai chili and basil tofu and pad see ew. All of these dishes were priced under $ 10. Unfortunately, two out of the three dishes were a bit of a disappointment. The dish I received was fantastic! There was a nice heat and sweetness to the dish. The tofu was very moist and the carrots and onions were cooked perfectly. Perhaps the one thing I have to say about this dish is that I wish there was more rice. The ratio of curry to rice wasn’t enough and I ran out of rice and had a lot of curry leftover. Now this is where things go a bit downhill. The Pad see ew was overall good. Noodles were good, the sauce was good, and the veggies were good too. But the fake meat that came with it was not so good. It was like chewing on a rubber disk. The Thai chili and basil tofu had no green beans even though the menu said that there were green beans in the dish. We flagged down a waiter and we told him what happened and he said that he wasn’t even sure what to do or what was going on. My friend ended up getting the green beans on the side. Compared to the amount of bell peppers in her dish, it was nothing. But the tofu tasted good. It was a nice balance of salty and sweet. The table next to us got the same dish and they didn’t have green beans or tofu. Which is strange because it’s Thai chili and basil TOFU! We talked to the table next to us and they said that they’re normally not like this. I hope to come back to Long Beach and give this place another try. It did seem like they were a bit understaffed. There was one guy handling most of the dining room, while the other would go between busing tables, serving food, and refilling water cups. It took a little bit of time to get things. So overall: — A little less than ok service. At least the wait staff was nice. — The food had its ups and downs. Not completely horrible, but I wasn’t overwhelmed. — Atmosphere was good. It was set at a nice temp and my friends and I could talk without having to shout or anything.

JoAnn gave great service. She gave my daugter her water with a lid without me asking, so effecient. Maybe one day she will go vegan. Thr food was good. I am not a fan of restaurant tofu but everything else was good. Vegan Latinas For Life on YouTube give this place 4 thumbs up. Vegan kid approved. Love had the skinny noodle soup with chicken and she loved it. I had drunkin noodles with a little spice and it was great. Fried rice was prrfection. The food was made quickly and it tasted fresh amazing. I got a free Chai tea, check out our pics for details how to do it. Tea was delicious but might be to sweet for some. Parking is on the left of the building and there are anout 8 spots, which is nice. Check out the vid on our YouTube channel

My wife and I had lunch at I Love Vegan. I ordered«Amazing Pad Thai», the menu says«without noodles». Actually it’s Amazingly GREASY! The dish looked great… However, the noodles were replaced with deep fried wontons. The rest of the dish was bean sprouts, scallions and six small cubes of tofu, all covered with an oily overly sweet sauce. My wife ordered Mongolian Beef and the Vegi Beef was so tough we could not cut with a fork. It was like chewing on a sponge and about as tasty(except the sponge would not be filled with grease). The hot & sour soup tasted like a bowl of hot peppers and no hint of any other flavor. The«Fresh Vegan Roll» looked pretty but had zero flavor. Epic Fail The only reason I gave it one star was because the server removed the Amazing Pad Thai from the check.
