I wen there once to try it out and there this girl that cut my hair was AMAZING ! I did not see her there this Saturday how ever I got my beard shaved, for a company Christmas party and they literally f-​me up badly with a neck bleeding and a scratched neck ! I look horrible !! Thanks intensive cuts for leaving me all cut up for some Christmas company pictures! Don’t go here they will f-​you up too !!

I take back my statement about the 41 dollars and percent. But I am in the United States marine corp I expected to get a simple buzz cut and got to base and ended up getting a who cut your hair.

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year now and Louie has cut my hair each time. I won’t be going anywhere else because his customer service is great. He instantly makes you feel welcome and will carry on a conversation the entire time.
I recommend calling in to check his availability, because like anyone who’s great at what they do, they will be in high demand.
Bring cash because they don’t accept credit cards. The person complaining about this below obviously doesn’t own a business and doesn’t know how the credit card companies work. Sometimes it’s easier for a small business like barber shops or tattoo shops (my profession) to be cash only.
So check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

My fiancé loved getting his haircuts and shave from you guys but you lost his business the moment you told him you were going to be cash only. Personally I have never heard of an established business going from accepting cash and plastic to just cash.

I am attending a wedding this weekend so i go in for a cut. I have been here for all of my prior haircuts about 6 times before. I trusted them. The asian guy who to the best of my knowledge owns the place butchered my hair! I walked in and it was if he was eating lunch it seemed like. Which is fine. Keep eating your lunch, or make me wait, or ask the other dude (latin looking dude real cool cut my hair before does a good job) cut my hair. Instead he says «wait 5 min,» ok i said. So he comes out in less than 5 min and proceeds to butcher my hair.
Now there is one of two reasons why he butchered my hair.
1) he was upset because i cut his lunch short.
2) he was drunk. I have seen him drinking before. My brother also worked next door and would see him killing Hennessy in the back.
This is like the 6^th time i have been to this place. Twice has the guy in the first chair cut my hair. And the rest with the asian guy. He really cuts hair good and takes his time. On this particular day like i have stated earlier with the reasons, is why I will never go back. I probably will end up cutting my hair really short so it can semi blend but the smallest clip he cut with is so high i may have to go bald.
NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE HAD A LINE UP ON MY HAIRLINE… WHY THE F WOULD YOU DO THAT? TO COVER UP?! TERRIBLE.
And to think i never tipped less than $ 4 dollars usually $ 5.

These guys are amazing. My man Leo gave me exactly what I wanted and in no time. Definitely recommend this place.

Great place. I always set an appointment and I’m out within 15 minutes. Leo is fast and great. The haircut is 20 dollars but it’s definitely worth it. Won’t go anywhere else

Pricey but a very cool pace to get your haircut. My mane is hard to tame. We’ll see how it goes. Love the 80s new wave music they are playing by the way. But I had to leave was kept waiting too long.

I have been taking my boys to Esquire for a while now and I have to say, each time I am satisfied! Leo is the one who usually cuts their hair, he is very patient, and does great work. Sometimes i come in and there’s music or shows on the TV that are not kid-​friendly and the guys always make sure to turn to something more P.G. which is always a nice touch! I usually call ahead of time to make an appointment just so we’re not sitting too long.
Dont forget to grab a piece of candy on your way out!

I don’t know about you but when I’m looking for a good barber I look for sanitation, service, and quality cuts with competitive pricing.
When you walk in you are instantly greeted. They build good rapport with their customers, get to know you. The setup is nice and open, not cluttered, and the barbers are professional and diverse stylist. I personally go to Leo but Louie is really good.

Awesome group of real down to earth people. that will great you with a smile and do the best cuts my boy is 4yrs old and likes comming here!!!

Just moved to long beach and my mop was getting quite unruly. Got seen immediately by Leo, gave him a quick description, and he nailed it perfectly. I will definitely make this my regular spot, thanks Leo!

I have been coming here since the week they first opened and, to be quite honest, this positive review is long over due. I guess I have been apprehensive because I am always able to get a great haircut at a fair price within an hour of my phone call, and I didn’t want the secret out there! They’re the best.
Louie and Leo are excellent. Louie’s blessed with the gift of gab and can give you a great cut or fade every time. Leo is precise and efficient, getting it done the right way… always.
Keep up the good work, fellas.
And to those who are looking for a great cut in Bixby Knolls: forget A-​1, forget Supercuts or whatever, and cruise into Esquire.

Came in about noon with one other guy ahead of me and one fella in the chair. So i figured I’d wait it out. Another barber was in the back kept walking in the room and walking back into a back room. He finally came in the room and he let some folks in the back door right into a awaiting chair not apologizing for any of the other 3 people who had been waiting for almost an hour. Obviously it was either a friend or family member so I this takes priority over waiting customers.
This place is not what I would call a traditional mens barber, I felt like it was rushed when I did get into the chair and there was no straight razor involved with anything, no hot towels, nada…

Louie The Clipper did a fantastic job knows how to keep a conversation going definitely coming back!
