The burgers are big and tasty. We went with the regular size and it filled hubby up! Fresh beef and bacon on the burgers, and not thin strip either. Fries aren’t overly salty(minimal salt) and for those who crave it, they do give you a packet to add as much as you wish. Only downfall is during the offseason, there are still tourists and no place to sit. Not fun trying to eat in the car with a toddler.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. These burgers are amazing! Fresh ingredients and a good size burger. The fries were perfect and the fry sauce was delicious. Blackberry shake was thick and yummy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good prices too!

I stopped here for a burger — not expecting much I ordered the Corral burger and a root beer shake. Price seemed normal. Shake was good and the burger was awesome, triple layer — built like a Big Mac with real ingredients.

Very friendly! They welcomed us and our dogs inside to order. The food reminded me of a drive in place we used to go when I was a kid. Very good(albeit rich!). Perfect vacation food. I had a bacon mushroom Swiss burger, onion rings and a handmade mocha shake. Delish!

Consistently good. Finally threw down on the Tsunami Burger. I expected the size would compromise the quality of the burger… but no, it was DELICIOUS!

This burger joint is pretty dang good! The only reason I can’t give it a full 5 stars is because even though they are good I don’t thing the prices match what you get. It’s a bit on the pricey side. Customer service was great.

Amazing fish n chips! Cod pieces were huge and at a fair price. Shakes were a bit expensive but worth it! I especially loved the fries :-)

Great burgers! If you’re looking for a place out of the main strip of long beach, come here! Not only was there a recommendation from our resort but by locals in our area north of Seattle. Burgers were flavorful, as they should be. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, I could taste individual components and the burger itself. Wonderfully messy burger and fantastic crinkle cut fries which came unsalted(love this as I was able to add a small amount of salt). Also ordered a peanut butter milkshake which was great and thick! Some outdoor seating on the side and a clean port o potty out back. Partial covered seating. It was windy but sunny but it’s also March so weather can be unpredictable. $ 36 for 3 burgers, two fries, a pop, and two shakes. I have a feeling we’ll be back.

I love this place! Great crinkle cut fries, more shake flavors than you can think of, and mouth watering burgers. Bring your hunger and try the Mega burger w/cheese.

Today was the first time I checked out the Corral after many years of visits to Long Beach, about 20 years to be exact. I had a cheese burger and tots. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. We shared a pumpkin pie milkshake. I liked everything about the place, the laid back old classic vibe. They had the cleanest Sani-potty I’ve ever been in, in the back far out of sight by the way. The burgers we really good, Maybe a level up on Frugals in Port Angeles. The whole experience dropped a star for me, however when I found a short curly head hair on my tomato in my burger on the first bite. Now I always seem to find hair in my food at even fancier places(ie. locally the Depot), so for some reason it’s starting to become a trend when I eat out. Anyways, the tots and onion rings were really crispy, not the best I’ve had, but pretty tasty. Would I eat here again? Yeah maybe if I ever get the urge to find a hair in my burger.

Outdoor slightly covered patio dining allowed us to eat delicious burgers and bring our dogs who calmly sat at our feet or under the table and watched. Their tator tots were particularly good with an almost potato chip like flavor. Large variety of milkshakes too. A bit of a wait to make the food but that’s because they cook it to order. Really enjoyed our meals here and dogs allowed outside!

Is this really a ‘drive in’? You have to get out of your car and place your order and pick it up… so, might be a stretch of the definition. Most burgers were in the $ 6 range; the ‘Corral Burger’, a double decker monster was $ 6.80. Burgers were prepared to order, so you have to wait 10 minutes. Real, awesome, tasty milkshakes were $ 3.75. Fries and tater tots were frozen, not made in house. Green rating — did a great job of using re-useable/biodegradeable serviceware for dine ‘in’(on the outdoor patio), but take out used styro containers for the burgers. I didnt think prices were out of line for make-to-order great burgers, in fact i thought prices here were lower. Friendly warm front staff. So Unilocal is showing a ‘$’ price rating — but if you get fries and a drink with your meal, which is typical, you’re over $ 10 and this is a ‘$$’ price rating. I’m a fan, will be coming here again. Note — at&t cell coverage practically non-existant, to ‘check in’ I had to do it 10 blocks away lol.

The people complaining about the prices should really visit a McDonalds some day. Guess what… In 2013 burgers are 6 – 8 bucks a pop. That’s life, For the price of a Corral Drive in Burger you can get a Big Mac at McDonalds. Quarter Pounders at Mcdonalds are more expensive then burgers here. Honestly I’d rather have a Corral burger then fastfood from a chain but maybe that’s just me. If you want there is a McDonalds in Long Beach if you want to comparison shop but remember you are on vacation in a small beach town. Support the locals instead of the chain. No they don’t have a 99 cent menu, no they don’t have unlimited refills on soda but they do make one heck of a burger. Chances are if you are eating here you are on vacation. Spend the extra 3 bucks for a shake its worth it. All in all good food, the only reason I took a star away was the staff was actually not as friendly as people here have mentioned. Chances are staff has changed over the years.

I’ve been to the Corral off and on since I delivered newspapers on a bike with one speed(in the ’70’s). My wife and I have never received a bad burger or shake. I wish the post office or the government was run as well. It’s so good I sometimes forget to tell them Thank you for a job well done. The Corral stands for Excellence, through out the years. If the prices were lower, this place would rock my world!!! Decent food with a great selection, but just pricey. Had a great oyster basket and chips, and my mate had fish and chips that she quite enjoyed. I was surprised that they were freshly battered and not previously frozen Hot dogs are large and very filling. Burgers are flavourful. I was disappointed in the flavour of the malts… many flavours to choose from, but ours were pretty bland tasting. Sad, because historically a place like this should be over the top when it comes to the sweet treats. Things are made to order, so it takes time. When they are slow, they are very slow. Staff are always friendly though. Seating is in an outdoor patio area on uncomfortable picnic tables, so plan accordingly. Port-a-potty facilities as well. One would think that the spartan location would keep the prices down, but I guess we can’t think too much.
