I’ve enjoyed coming to Joy sushi for the last few years. My family and I always enjoy coming. The sushi is authentic and the staff is extremely friendly. The prices are right in line with everything else and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it anytime you’re around.

$ 15 dollars for all you can eat lunch… That’s seriously unheard of! My friend suggested this place and I was expecting to pay like $ 25 – 30 so I was happily surprised. There was only like three other people in the entire restaurant so it was like we had 4 waiters and a personal sushi chef just for us. Is this what it feels like to be Kylie Jenner? Our food came out within a few minutes which was awesome. I didn’t get anything too out of the ordinary(they charge you for anything you don’t finish) but I really liked my two rolls and several pieces of nigiri. The«sushi boy roll» was my favorite even with the strange pedophile name. They gave my god daughter free little sides of food– which is much appreciated! The more distractions she has while me and her mommy gossip, the better!!! LOL… I would definitely go back if I was in the area again. Hopefully they won’t remember me as the girl saying«I am seriously so full. Seriously, roll me out of here to the car!»

I’m giving this review 3 stars because of the gal who seated us was as rude as she possibly could be and if it wasn’t for our kind and attentive server and the food, I’d never step back in there again. This chic had a huge tuna sized chip on her shoulder and should not be in customer service. All you can eat sushi was good and less expensive than Sushi Katsu by $ 8/pp($ 26.95/pp here) and just as good. Lots of options, very fresh. The spicy salmon roll and each Nigiri piece was great. Again, our server was very good and a kind young man.

All you can eat sushi for $ 26. How can you go wrong. Usually busy and service is hit and miss. Get your orders in for more sushi early or you may be waiting awoke before it gets to the table.

Service is horrible! When I was eating the sushi, rice kept falling out so I left some rice on the plate and the waiter came and told me to finish eating the rice so I forced myself to finish it. then when my husband and I were almost done eating I left some noodle in udon dish. They gave so much noodle I couldn’t finish it. The waiter came and told me ‘you need to finish all that first before you can pay’. he would not bring us a bill. he said if I don’t finish the noodle, he will have to charge me $ 2.50. he tried to force me to finish eating cold noodle. I felt disgusting and disrespected. we spent over $ 60 for two of us. he totally ruined our night. I understand if we had left lots of food, but it was just little left over noodle. you don’t force anyone to finish eating cold food! I will never go to this restaurant. they should have some appreciation for customers.

After living in Seattle, Vegas, and LA, I keep searching for that one great sushi place in Denver with the unique combo of having very fresh fish, a reasonably priced creative menu and great customer service. This isn’t it. Lunch menu is more restrictive than I care for. They ply you with«All-you-can-eat rules» sheet, which is fine– I get that they don’t want you to overorder and be wasteful. But the cost PERPIECE of what you don’t eat is $ 2.50. So, you’re telling me that if I accidentally order one roll too much, you’re going to charge me $ 20 extra? That’s almost twice what the roll would cost on average! I understand charging for uneaten food, I just think this is a little extreme. I guess that steep price is instituted so people will take it seriously. All it made me do was choke down those last few pieces, making my stay longer(that much longer I was taking up table space that someone else could be using) and ultimately made me feel sick as I was leaving– not how you want to feel leaving a restaurant.(Incidentally, I say«choke down» because I just didn’t like the flavor of the roll that much.) So the rolls offered for lunch are very standard and boring, and you can only order about ½ of the standard variety of nigiri(unless you are there for dinner.) Also, looking at their rolls, I really wanted to try a few of their specialty rolls that I had seen on their online menu, only to find that you could only order them at dinner, or individually. Another sushi place I frequent will add $ 3.95 per roll on top of the All-you-can-eat price so you can at least try some of the chef’s specialty rolls, which I feel is reasonable. I asked if they could do that here, and was told they could not. I just feel that the customer service could have been better. As far as quality is concerned, I think it was about average. To be fair, though, I didn’t try many of the nigiri pieces, so I cannot attest to the claim of them serving some of the freshest fish in Denver. That may be true… But I wasn’t about to be adventurous and try anything new at the cost of $ 2.50/piece extra if I DIDN’T like it. Overall, this wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, but wasn’t the worst. I guess the search continues…

This place gets 3 stars because my friends love it. If you want good veggie sushi, definitely avoid this place! They have a very limited selection of veggie sushi, especially at lunch and what they do have is not very flavorful or special(think tiny bits of veggies inside a ton of rice). You basically pay $ 20 to get full on white rice. I have heard that you are charged for each roll you don’t consume, and the service is rude! I do know some people that swear by this place, so I guess my star rating can reflect that…

What a gem! This small sushi place in a strip mall is some of the best sushi I have had in Colorado. The staff are very friendly and highly competent. The Price for the all-you-can-eat sushi is under $ 30. That makes this place a great deal. They have many trained shifts on staff who can roll out the orders very quickly. I would recommend to families, couples, singles. They cater to all needs and tastes.

The food here was ok. I have had better. We did the all you can eat sushi and I was surprised that you don’t get a mo-chi ice cream option included, so we decided to pass since we were already around a $ 75 bill for two people. I was also confused why our roll we ordered from one section on the menu, we ordered three from this section and they were all different sizes and styles. Usually the presentation is the same when you are ordering the basic rolls(spicy tuna, spicy salmon, etc.) vs the speciality rolls. The staff was nice and our waitress was happy to answer questions. Don’t know that I would dine here again for dinner, but as others have said, maybe lunch is the better option here.

One of the better all-you-can-eat sushi lunches in the area… especially with regard to quality of fish. A friend told me about this sushi restaurant just the other day. I must admit, I was skeptical because I am picky when it comes to my sushi. I decided to check it out by myself today before having a group of friends join me. I ordered the rainbow roll, caterpillar roll, a scallop sushi, Hamachi Nigiri, and Shake Nigiri. All you can eat for 14.99 up to 40 pieces.(Typical for lunch deals). As I expected, the rolls were on the small side, but the fish was surprisingly fresh! Very nice! However, the rice was warm, which I do not prefer. Some people may like this, however. The nigiri was very small, but for a lunch special, I found it nice because I could order more without becoming full. Note: vegetarians– they have quite a few options for for you! I will be bringing my daughter here, as she is a vegetarian sushi lover! The service was very pleasant and attentive. The place was packed, so I knew the food was turning over. On my way out, the sushi chefs looked up and thanked me for coming in. Nice touch! I will be back for lunch. Oh– and I am curious enough to try their Lone Tree Roll… looks yummy!

There was no joy at «Joy sushi». It should be called«Miserable Sushi». First of all, no one there looked happy to be there. Second of all, if you get the AYCE, they will do their best to give you the thinnest pieces possible. To top it off, the sushi and appetizers come — one piece at a time… WHODOESTHAT! Assuming it was the owner lady, she was bossing and micromanaging everyone around so that’s probably why everyone there is unhappy. Even the greeter/hostess/waitress was bitter. Very average sushi and poor atmosphere equals me never returning or recommending Joy Sushi to anyone. They really should call their place«Miseable Sushi»… Not a joke!

Well, I started out loving this place but our Last two experiences were far from good. I stand behind my statement of this placing having really good sushi. The service on the other hand is the worst I have ever encountered. We got the same rude little Asian waiter as last time who looked at us and was like«you know the rules before you eat?!» When I asked him to tell us bc we weren’t sure, you could tell he got annoyed. Whatever, we carried on. The next time we got there we asked if it was still lunch time and he said yes. We filled out the all you can eat menu and ordered salads as well. There was literally like 8 pieces of lettuce and a tomato. As soon as we got our sushi we realized we didn’t have napkins or chopsticks and no one came to even check on us. So I had to go ask the owner for them. She came and gave us some and tells us that this needs to be our last call. Wait what? We just got here? She says I know but it’s 2:15 and all you can eat ends at 2:30. So when we got there why didn’t they tell us that? It was so rude, no one ever came back to fill our water and we had to rush and order. The worst experience, and our waiter only came back to give us the check. I will never go back to this place. Find somewhere else where the owners aren’t money hungry, they can careless about their customers here. So wrong.

The all-you-can-eat sushi here isn’t the best deal you will find in Denver, but the quality is the best you will find when looking for an all-you-can-eat deal. It’s no secret that I love sushi. It’s also no secret that I’m a 22 year old, and not living off my parents dime. I will be coming here for lunch, but I will be choosing a cheaper option for dinner. I was also surprised to see a limit on how much sushi you can get… that’s new. It would take a lot to reach that limit(and I might explode), but I’m going to have to take my dad, and see if we can«max out» on out limit!

I am never eatting here again. After explicitly stating an allergy to sesame seeds, I was givien a roll with sesame seeds tucked undeneath the outter layer of rice. Luckily I saw the seeds before consuming any. On top of that, half our order was lost and some of the food was never brought to the table. The place was disorganized and the quality was not worth $ 14.95 for all you can eat at lunch.

Ok, I’m always hunting for good sushi places and all you can eat out in colorado can be difficult. Most of the time, the menu is 5 items and they all suck. Not this place! Thank you Unilocal for finding this for me. The sushi is amazing(the lead chef is addressing a amazing cut of tuna in front of me) I just… Wow is all I can say. You are limited to 40 pieces for lunch, easy for me to break, but it’s worth coming back. If you are on the south side of Denver, hit this place up. Really good!

Yeah, it was A-OK. AYCE lunch for $ 15. They’re pretty upfront about the limitations(40 pieces per person) and penalties($ 2.50 if you don’t finish it). The AYCE menu of choices is pretty extensive, probably more so than others I’ve been to so that actually earned it an extra star above«Meh». Inside is pretty dark, but fairly large space. Servers were somewhat indifferent and hard to flag down sometimes. We ordered small amounts of food in multiple rounds lest we pay a penalty, but it seemed to take quite awhile sometimes to get some of our rounds. And overall the atmosphere was lacking and underwhelming. Food seemed pretty fresh, but the rice in the nigiri was warm occasionally which was very off putting. Decent miso soup. Some fun roll combos on the AYCE menu. And lots of choices for nigiri– even managed to try a few new things!(Why not, it’s AYCE.) All in all, I don’t think this will be somewhere I’ll come back. I can think of three other sushi places in the nearby area I’d choose over this place for lunch combos and AYCE options. Sorry Joy.
