I have good and disappointing feelings about this place. Their birds are fair priced, good selection and treated well. BUT i went to buy a parrot here almost 3 years ago and told the employees there the personality and sex i was looking for. I ended up with an indian ringneck (i also did alot of research) turns out he is a she and will never talk, get the male coloring or have the speaking capabilities of a male. Im very dissappointed. They have great toys, treats and food which is a plus.

What separates Parrot Safari is everyone on staff loves and owns birds. They care about the animals they sell as they hand raise them and become attached to them. Unlike other pet stores they only deal with birds and they know quite a lot about every species. There is even a licensed animal behaviorist on staff who will make private appointment with you.
One thing I love about the place is that is a «hang out» for bird lovers. They encourage their customers to bring in their birds and hang out with other customers by providing comfortable seating in the back.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about exotic birds. I moved from S. Cal where there are several exotic bird stores Parrot Safari is a pleasant surprise and the hours drive is worth it. They specialize in, groom, board and breed exotic birds.
