Wendy’s

For fast food, this place is great. I’m a little perplexed by the low reviews — maybe that’s because I really only use the drive through.
The food at this location is always hot and fresh, and the drive through service is usually very good. As far as I’m concerned, they have the best fast food in Lompoc, and I’ll continue going back.

We were in town and needed something quick and inexpensive. I guess the «dollar» menu really isn’t $ 1 at fast food places any longer, or just not here? From their «cheap» menu we ordered four piece plain chicken nuggets for our preschooler and a milk (those were a hit with the person in question). And a spicy chicken wrap which husband complained was not spicy. It was barely big enough to be an appetizer for him. Our teen server was spacey. I guess we don’t expect much at fast food anyway. Although it was near noon we had the place to ourselves (no complaints as it keeps the small person calm). A senior lady came in, looked at the menu, and also ordered from the «cheap» section. Sometimes I wonder how fast food places hang on, with their regular menus expensive, their «cheap» menus unsatisfying, and customers probably not having as much money as they used to. At any rate, the preschooler enjoyed her lunch so I’ll leave it at three stars. The interior of the place was clean enough and pleasant enough.

Horrible customer service. Had to wait in line 5 minutes because customer in front of us had to use the restroom??? Cashiers just standing there talking. No itemized receipt provided because printer was down. Made the rest of the line wait to order? I’ve been to many Wendy’s they all have had 100% better service.

I like coming here. The staff is very friendly. The food is typical Wendy’s food, so I can’t really comment on it beyond that.

Irresponsible service. Closing time was at 10:04pm and left two cars hanging at the drive thru. What’s the big deal? They need to work on time management and respect for customers. The hamburgers are small and decent at best. I’ll go across the street to Burgerking instead. Sorry not sorry.

Good place for a quick burger and fries. Love this place because I spent a lot of my childhood here instead of Mcdonalds.

Slowest service every time I come in no matter what time of day.

Where do I start?! This is easily the worst fast food restaurant that I have ever been to! They have just one register to take orders. When I was in there after a kids football game, there were 14 customers in line. There were plenty of workers to take care of the customers but the LACK of managerial brain power was astonishing. The register person was having to get all of her own food and drinks, as well as customer refills. NOBODY WAS HELPING HER! All I wanted to order was a drink. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I took my own order on the register while I had the lady running the register make my drink.
The place is clean. I noticed that the drive thru takes awhile for the order to get to you. You’ll have to park your car after you place your order in order to get your drive-​thru food but you should just drive right on by.

Every single employee behind the counter was talking to each other in Spanish. It doesn’t even look like they hire legal US Citizens at all. It was like being in a 3^rd world country and I felt very discriminated against. as I am a legal US Citizen who speaks English.
Customers who came up to the counter who were Mexican, they talked to in Spanish and were very chatty and friendly. I could barely understand them when it was my turn and they were curt and rude.
I will never go back. Wendy’s in engaging in hiring discrimination based on race/​ethnicity.

Fresh burger but too small compare to Carl’s Jr. The place is clean, drive thru takes awhile for the order to get, you’ll have to park your car after you place your order.

Went through the drive thru; ordered a Spicy Chicken (add Asiago Cheese) sandwich combo with a small iced tea. Daughter ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a Sprite.
Spicy chicken was okay, the bun was not the right bun,. I believe it was a cheeseburger bun. The iced tea was literally brown water. No iced tea taste at all, and my fries were cold and soggy.
Daughter’s burger was good, however her french fries like mine, were cold and tasteless. I was a little irritated that I paid for cold fries and brown water. The crew needed to be a little more professional.
