Thanks Tom’s for always having excellent service and making terrific burgers. I appreciate being able to order a quarter order of fries instead of a full order. Take-out orders are filled quickly. I look forward to the day our pet therapy group(people and our therapy certified dogs) can return to Tom’s outside for our regular luncheon.

Tom’s is a great lunch spot! Burgers are delicious, chicken strips and fries are the best I’ve had(they make their ranch dressing from scratch mmmm). Lot’s of free refills without asking, lovely service!

This was my first visit to Tom’s. Because this restaurant had decent reviews, I decided to give it a try. I had the«B» with avocado. For us first-timers, the menu takes a while to read as you have to take the time to through each of the A-Z descriptions to know what each burger is. Now, as far as burgers go, it was great! It has the home-cooked flavor, definitely better than the fast food chains. I will definitely come back when I’m in the Lompoc area!

BESTBREAKFASTINTOWN! Our family has breakfast at Tom’s every other week and they never disappoint! We love the servers and how quick and attentive they are and the food is always delicious! My husband and I typically share an order of biscuits and gravy(seriously the best in town!!) and a bacon avocado omelette-sooooooo good! The Tom’s omelette is also amazing! The A-Z burgers are also quite tasty!

Tom’s makes a terrific burger, although their menu can be a little difficult to read. I get the schtick, but you literally have to read every convoluted sentence to decipher what’s in each burger. My friends and I always get the«Dirty Mary» burger — which isn’t even on the menu — named after one of the servers. This monster burger comes with: avocado, bacon, two types of cheese, raw onion, grilled onion, onion rings, jalapeños, bbq sauce, mayo, lettuce, tomato and I add a fried egg to the monstrosity. Their baskets of fries and onion rings remind me of The Hat down in LA — one order can easily feed a small village. The prices are reasonable and the staff always welcoming.

Great burgers. Friendly staff. Some burgers sound better than they taste. But the meat is delicious so try them til you find your favorite.

Decent, for lompoc. Waitresses are rather offputting and rude. Friendlier to the males. Food here is, frankly, bland and offputting. Meat is dry. Buns taste bland… but what do you expect? This is Lompoc! You thrive only if you know people!

It was the place to go to in high school and it is still the place to go! A to Z burgers, my favorite is the ‘M’, but every burger I have tried is great. They also have the BEST french fries and great onion rings! Good prices, now they accept credit cards, and staff is always friendly. It is the local place to go for a great burger and atmosphere!

I think they have the best burgers in town. I usually like Carl’s Jr, but these overpower the flavor of those others. My favorite burger there is the Mushroom Swiss. I also love the fact that you can order french fries & onion rings by either ½ basket or full basket. They have enormous burgers, but the prices are very reasonable. They only except CASH, but everything there is well worth the price. I would recommend this restaurant to those who want to leave with full stomachs, but great service as well.

Hadn’t been in for several months and little did I know, my wife was craving the Pink Panther while I was thinking about the«X» Burger(best one on the a to Z Menu). It was 12:15 so I said, lets go to Tom’s for Lunch. She jumped at the thought, so off we went. We were greeted as if we were family, they knew what we were going to order before we could say what it was. Unbelievable! Yes, we have been coming since Tom’s was next to Crocker bank, but we only come maybe 4 – 5 times a year… yet they know us that well? really? Per our normal expectations, the food was fast, hot, and great tasting. This little update is just because…

Honestly, I don’t know why everyone is obsessed over this place. these burgers taste average and the prices should be much lower. Eddie’s Grill beats it by far! and cheaper! Once I tasted Eddies Grill I stopped coming here: AND they don’t charge for ranch dressing!

The service was nice and we got our food pretty quick but I think they are way overpriced. I expected an out-of-this-world burger(I ordered the mushroom burger) for the price and it was just plain to me. Barely any mushrooms on it and it just tasted like a burger I could have made at home. My husband got the taco burger expecting the same thing and he said the same thing: «just tastes like a regular burger». I probably won’t go back.

Burgers are just ok, they do have quite a variety of choices with their A-Z menu, place is a bit hard to find(tucked into corner of strip mall)

Biggest complaint: The burger meat is a thin, sorry excuse of a patty, Think McDonalds thin. For the prices they charge, I’d expect a thicker patty. I had the Don Willis. Wife had the mushroom burger. Both were underwhelming, but everything was prepared properly. The burger toppings were pretty good and the french fries were the closest tasting to McDonald’s I’ve ever had. Very friendly service. The restaurant is in SERIOUS need of an update. It’s like time-traveling to 1975.

As a straight up burger joint, this one gets 5 stars. Its a low key local place that hasn’t been corrupted by the chain mentality. Service was excellent, with the waitress willing to work with one of our folks that has a gluten allergy. While she wasn’t knowledgeable about the allergy, she was helpful with suggestions. Food was excellent. Lots of crazy burger choices. Everyone was happy with their choices. They were happy to split the checks and took credit cards, which may have been a problem in the past. BTW: if you like fries, get the full order. the ¼ order by itself puts a mcdonalds large fries to shame.

Don Willis burger is famous, so, as the waitperson recommended, I went for it! This must be the friendliest place in town! Don Willis has double grilled cheese, burger patty, avocado, some grilled and some raw onions… ask Mary, she will completely hook you up with Tom’s best burgers.
