Naturalizer Yorktown

FYI, this is an independent shop, not a corporate shop so if you buy shoes online, you can’t return them here. I didn’t actually buy anything in the store, but just browsing the shoes on my way in and out, I honestly couldn’t tell if the shoes were new or not. The setup inside makes it look like it’s a used shoe store and could use some updating.

Wow, what a difference a few months makes. We were waiting outside the store for it to open — at a few minutes after 10, I called and asked when they open, and the gentleman who answered the phone said, «we open at 10». He came out and opened a few minutes later.
They are having their summer sale — almost every sign says «ask an associate». The only was to ask was the gentleman who was late opening and he really didn’t seem to have any interest in helping. When my wife asked about particular shoes, he never brought out more than 1 box (in the past, the help in this store has always brought more than one out to try and help my wife find comfortable shoes). I realize selection on the sales items was low, but he didn’t even offer anything besides the specifics we asked for.
The only reason I give it 2 stars is that the shoes are great, but the service has gone downhill.
