My strawberry Julius smoothie was more like an icee. I had to chew the ice every time I took a sip. Not how a smoothie should be. Maybe it’s just the location or the person that made it sucks. Either way, waste of money. Boo.

We stopped here after doing some running for my birthday. We ordered the slushy drinks and enjoyed them very much. We spoke with the owner and he and staffers were all super friendly. We all laughed about putting booze into the drinks and maybe opening a bar next door. We will go back here again as we like to do business with places that give back to the locals.

Sometimes, you really just want a blizzard, and then you discover that the mall location is closed. And no, Baskin Robbins won’t do, you want a blizzard. So, we ventured to this location at 8:30 on a Saturday. It’s clean, it’s bright, it’s open year-round. We got our blizzards(chocolate covered pretzel what?) and we were happy. Nothing to complain about. Hit the spot and we’re likely to return next time the DQ craving hits.

I called on a Monday to order an ice cream cake for Wednesday. I was told that since I didn’t want any writing done that I wouldn’t need to reserve it, just come in and get. That made me a bit nervous but I figured since I’d be there right after they open it wouldn’t be a big deal. I verified 3 times that if I came in on Wednesday at 12 noon that they would be open and a cake would be ready/available. Each time they answered«Yes, yes.» When I get there a little after 12pm they are closed! Their sign on the door says closed and that their hours are from 4pm-9pm. Why couldn’t they have just told me that on Monday? I spent an hour driving there and back, what a waste! I only had 2 hours to get ready for my fiancé’s birthday and had to rush and improvise(by going to Baskin Robbins and forgoing some of the smaller details I had wanted).
