Sandwiches are bland, only served chilled and they’re mostly bread, with not much to them for the price. Pastries aren’t innovative, done old-fashioned, and many are done too simply and with cheap ingredients(especially crème brûlée, cannoli). In fact, everything is overpriced here, dining room is small with minimal seating. Service is helpful and friendly when the owner is in, less so in the evening when employees run the joint. I’m surprised at all of the glowing reviews this place gets. It’s locally owned and definitely has potential, but I cannot personally recommend the place.

Excellent desserts. Cannoli is especially good. Beautiful for a party or as a gift for someone special. Have not tried soup or sandwiches, but intend to.

If you want a really good pastry or dessert, you MUST stop by. I have had countless different things here. Some were better than others, but even my lesser favorites were still really good! Rum balls, eclairs, marzipan cigars, pear mousse, chocolate strawberries, and so many more are among my favorites. I even requested a special cake for my wife’s birthday and it was amazing! I’ve heard complaints about him being grumpy, but it’s pretty hard to imagine. Every time I’ve been there, whether it be with my kids, by myself, or on a date, the owner and his staff have always been super friendly. I’ve tried a couple of soups here, but not the sandwiches. I’ve had the gyro and it is way tasty. The polish pickle soup and«stewp» were also really good! The prices are seemingly high, but it’s worth it.

This polish man’s pastries are DIVINE! The only problem I have ever had with this place is when they run out of cannolis.:) I’ve tried his jalapeño jelly and it is terrific and there are always hard to find specialty flours and and a few other baking ingredients in the cooler. My husband and I will stop in here after dinner and load up on pastries… for the kids. MOST of the time they make it home. We have both been to Europe several times and these pastries are the real deal.

Seriously the best birthday cake I ever had in United States. Not so sweet, fresh cream, fresh strawberry, delicate. Wish I found out earlier that they do birthday cake!!! So I don’t have to buy cold stone b day cake ever year…

I’m English, and we are serious about cake. We not only make it ourselves, we also go to the local cake shop for pastries that are more troublesome to make at home. I was delighted to find Sweetly Divine. Actually I haven’t tried all of Mark’s cakes because I find it hard to get beyond the éclairs, lemon squares and macaroons. In addition to magnificent cakes, Mark also makes great soup, sandwiches and salads. His sandwiches are nicely wrapped and are my go-to daypack food when I’m planning a hike or flying somewhere. His soup made me like white clam chowder. Coffee shop prices, but in Sweetly Divine’s case, worth every penny.

the owner of this place is a great guy. His desserts are delicious but I go for the sandwiches. They are wrapped in plastic and sitting in the cooler but they taste AMAZING! His soup is delicious too. Also, I read Jason’s review of his jalapeño jelly. Jason is wrong. It’s delicious.

My sisters and I love going to this little sweet spot. All their pastries and goodies are delicious but my favorite is the swan because it’s so pretty! Love it.

My favorite lunch spot in Logan by far. We love to drop by and grab sandwiches. The sandwiches all have the most fantastic jalapeño jelly I have ever tasted(don’t worry, it’s not very spicy!) We love the desserts too. You’ll never find another place like it!

Literally THEBEST pastries and sandwiches there are. I am absolutely flabbergasted by the bad reviews. Did we even eat at the same place?! I have been a customer here almost since they opened and I have NEVER had anything I didn’t just love. I had no idea how spoiled I was until I moved away from Logan. I have since lived in Ogden and Salt Lake and have desperately tried to find something that compares. Nothing in Ogden comes close, even in the historical district. Nothing in Salt Lake that I have found yet comes close. I even stopped at a resort while in Heber and out of FOUR different types of pastries my husband and I ordered from their ‘authentic’ European bakery, we only liked one. If I could get Sweetly Divine on speed dial and have them deliver down here, I would do it in a heart beat. The owner is actually from Poland and trained in Europe. I have followed the press for his shop, and from what I have seen, it is all good. I have seen him in local papers, a state magazine… and on national tv at least twice. Those jalapeño jellies ARE amazing. My hubby had to make me try them and I now give them as gifts because they are awesome. Try them on one of the sandwiches they always have freshly made. You can buy a jar to take home in the shop OR online. A certain famous radio/tv personality I happen to be a fan of ALSO loves them and is the reason for the national exposure. But it is well deserved! I love the tarts and the swans. The cheese empanadas are to die for especially if you heat them for 10 – 15 sec in the microwave. The cannolis… the best I have ever had. My one regret is not being able to try the dill pickle soup everyone raves about. I am sure I sound a little too positive about this place, but when someone gets it right, why not shout it from the roof-tops? I miss Cache Valley, and this little gem one of the top three reasons why! Maybe those who didn’t like it should just stick to donuts and coffee. ;)

Terrible food. Worse service. The person«guaranteed» I would love the jalapeño jelly on the sandwiches(I had never had a jalapeño jelly I liked so I doubted it). With such a statement, I tried it. It was disgusting. He informed me there was something wrong with me. Refused to give me another sandwich and refused to give back my money. Now I warn away as many people as I can. Even if you like the food, there is no excuse for the service.

Sweetly Divine is in a pleasant location. The waitress was helpful, and the menu looks intriguing. They also sell a number of specialty flours and gluten free products. We were there for a to-go box of pastries. My friend and I each made two selections, with the help of the employee behind the counter. Twelve dollars later, and we were on our way home for a night of movies and delicious desserts, or so we thought. First, the good things. The lemon bar was great. Perfect crust to lemon filling ratio. The éclair was only mediocre. The raspberry tart was a disappointment as well, mostly because the fruit on top was not yet ripe enough for consumption. The rum ball, that I ordered after much encouragement from the employee, was actually gross. Like taking a shot of gin without any of the benefits. Here’s the sad thing: earlier in the day my friend and I had purchased supplies for pot de crème. They took minimal effort, cost all of $ 5 to make, and were sublime; far surpassing any of the overpriced goodies we’d gotten at Sweetly Divine. I suppose there is a higher lesson than, «don’t get dessert at Sweetly Divine,» to be learned here, but that’s the one I’m taking away. I might be back for lunch, but won’t ever go out of my way for their pastries ever again.

We love the sandwiches and soup here. The owner is the chef and takes great pride in making it the best. The pastries are decadent, don’t miss the Crème Brûlée.

I’ve had a sandwich here every day for the past week(that’s when my sister showed me the place) and I plan on having a sandwich there every day for a long time. The jelly that they use is unique and great. I had the soup for the first time and it was great. The meatballs were lightly flavored and it was a good balance of flavor. Nothing was too overwhelming a end you could taste all of the ingredients. The few pastries I had were above and beyond the call of amazing. I’m coming back for sure!

I’ve been here twice. Once with my wife and once with my whole family because we enjoyed it so much the first time. I have two pastry shops in Utah that I will always seek out now. Mrs Backers in SLC, and Sweetly Divine in Logan. The owner is VERY helpful in explaining the different pastry options. He is friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. Some of the pastries could be considered mildly overpriced like the cream puff swan, but then again you are paying for the presentation and work of art which I am fine with. I didn’t mark it 5 stars because I enjoyed the selection and flavor intensity at Mrs Backers more. But it’s still 2nd best of what i’ve had as far as french/european pastries go.

I’ve been to Sweetly Divine for lunch one time and for a dessert three times. No doubt the desserts are stellar and highly recommended. For lunch I ordered one of the pre-made pastrami sandwiches. It was wrapped in plastic and kept in the front cooler. The problem with pre-wrapped sandwiches is that the bread quickly goes stale in the cooler, one cannot customize, and there is always a weird moisture built up from condensation. The sandwich was not much better than what could be purchased at an airport. The pastrami was chopped into bits instead of slices. Two bites had hard pieces of gristle. The cashier did a great job with the transaction. As I sat down to eat she came around to the front of the counter to smooch her boyfriend goodbye. It wasn’t tacky but certainly wasn’t professional. Maybe I“m a prude. You decide.

Everything at Sweetly Divine is made from scratch with loving care and great expertise by a European pastry chef. The Polish pickle soup(think cream of potato with a kick) is my favorite! It’s available every other Tuesday. The pear mousse tart and the lemon bars are my pastry faves, and the cannoli is the best outside the east coast. And the lemon bars. Oh, did I already say lemon bars? The place is small and service is friendly. I wish the pastries were labeled in the display case. The sandwiches are unique and good, with house-made condiments including pepper jellies that are available for sale, but I do think the sandwiches aren’t exactly what Americans are used to. In a sea of chain bakeries, Sweetly Divine stands out. A taste of Europe in little old Logan!
